Did a small job for a lady who is a customer of this terrible institution. She wrote me a small check less than $200. I bank elsewhere but just happen to be next door to this bank and popped in to cash my check. Cashier said to have a seat and that the check would have to be verified and a fee of $8.00 would be taking to cash said check. If I were a customer of this bank I'd leave immediately. If I write a check to someone from my account they should be able to get it cashed with no hesitation or fees if the funds are available regardless if they're account holders or not.

I hate Bank of America they make you sit and wait on Someone in the back offices to come and take your check to verified it to be cashed Instead of doing it like most banks do when you go up front. Then you have to wait in line again after its verified to get the check cashed.

I called for two weeks on behalf of my grandmother with no answer of the phone or an option to leave a message. My Grandmother, who is over 85, had to be driven to the location. Her account had been frozen. No one notified her of this. Instead, the very rude and condescending manager said, “We sent you a letter in the mail asking for your social security number or else we would freeze your account.” Does anyone else see how many things are wrong with this? What bank sends a letter asking for PII or else your account will be terminated? Bank of America obviously has little regard for your security or financial situations. This branch especially lacks the basics of customer service and are unable to show the most basic practice of empathy. How a bank this large came to be so, bewilders me. I have never seen a branch manager so apathetic, uneducated, lazy and lacking in basic communication skills. If you are unhappy with your job, that’s on you, at least it’s not on my grandma. Customers can be bad sometimes. My grandmother is not. She is very sweet, even for being her age, ill and forced into going to a place by a bunch of kids because they dont understand how landlines work. She is the last person to receive such horrendous treatment. Bank anywhere else, folks. Just don’t bank here.

Called to see if they could change foreign currency. Listened to the recorded menu, and pressed the key to talk to a person at the location. The phone simply rang and no one picked up. Did that twice. How do they operate like this?
