Never walk into this hole ever again. This place has horrible customer service with no kind bone for helping people. There hours are so slim with anyone that has a real job never being able to go into talk to a real person. Which would be fine if there app was helpful but it’s even worse with no help and never working. They hold all check for 6 days which is very hard when you run a construction business. how do you expect me to run a business and pay my bills when your holding thousands of dollars at a time. NEVER GO INTO THIS BANK THINKING YOU WILL RECEIVE HELP.

Horrible customer service no matter what time of day there's always one teller working. Plan on spending atleast 30-45 waiting!

I really like this BOA branch. I have only experienced great customer service from tellers and personal bankers. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that their business hours suck. Most people have to be at work before 9AM, and don’t leave until after 4PM. They really do keep banker’s hours.

Ok- update I was just in here this morning and my favorite Ashley was here!!! She always makes me smile!!! The whole crew is great!!! Nice job BOA!! I don't go into the bank often....but when I do I get great friendly service from everyone. Ashley is the best! I have been a BOA customer for over 20 years.

    Response from the owner

Thanks for letting us know how helpful Ashley was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well.

Landlord out of town and gave me a deposit slip to use in paying my rent. Branch would not accept cash...US DOLLARS !! Apparently US currency has no value because bank would not accept my deposit in CASH. I had to go elsewhere and purchase a money order -- then stand in line again. This is THEIR RULE -- not a banking law. Other banks are happy to accept cash. I wonder if Bank of America is owned and controlled by foreign interests? This branch certainly does not serve the Blue Springs community well. Read other reviews. If zero stars was an option, they would receive same.

This place is a joke. It’s 9:35 a.m. on the first Friday of the month and they have one teller helping 19 customers in line while 5 loan officers sit in their office. Sit in line for 50 minutes and am told there’s a 5 day hold on a CERTIFIED check. Oh hey, there’s a Chase bank right across the street.

    Response from the owner

Hello. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations and know that your time is valuable. We use many factors to determine if a hold will be placed on a deposited item and for how long. These factors include your account history, account balances, the maker, the dollar amount, and type of check being deposited. I have a medical disability and had to use the restroom asap. So i went in and asked to use the restroom! I was there towing one of their customers out of the parking lot. They told me no. Even after i explained to them they still told me no. They are extremely rude goes to show you why they have a 2 star rating!

My husband has had his commercial accounts with Bank of America since they bought out another bank in the 80s. We have seen them close locations convenient to our business, Shorten their business hours, and cut down or eliminate all together drive-through windows. Today I arrived with four commercial deposits and waited in line while as usual there was one teller available. Finally another teller came over and opened the window and waited on one woman ahead of me in line. When that customer was finished I went over to the window and literally had my commercial bank bags sitting on the counter when a small man in a suit walked up and told the teller who was going to help me that she needed to go over and meet some other clients. He did not offer to do with my deposit while she was otherwise occupied. When I said as usual I see you have only one teller he said well that’s the way the bank is now. The teller was only pulled away for about four minutes which makes me Wonder what was so important that she had to be pulled away from my transaction. She completed my transaction in complete and total silence and even though I deposited thousands of dollars, I didn’t even get a thank you at the end of the transaction. I realize that the bank does not want to have any teller services available but for someone who is running a business and often has cash deposits, sometimes I must visit the bank. The lack of caring at this particular branch is appalling. If my husband ran his business like this he would virtually have no customers.

This is by far the slowest bank. The worst part is, there’s always employees doing nothing! Tip of advise, make your deposits at the ATM. You’ll have at least part of it available immediately; unlike if you were to go inside. I’ve worked in banking before and never heard of a bsnk not clearing their OWN checks at the time of deposit.
