Bank of America (Lobby Service Only) River St, Santa Cruz

They called me and told me my order of foreign currency was ready to come pick up. They also told me they go on an hour long lunch break and just close the door. I came twice and it was closed. Third time, door still closed but the security guard lets me in. They have me sit for 20 min because someone is still on lunch break (it's 3pm). When I inquire a lady just tells me that my package is right there... Oh well...

The employees are always incredibly nice and as helpful as they can be, but it's closed so often that it's impossible to use consistently, especially when you need change for a business

The branch closed out of the blue although it does open on their website and Google. Our belongings are stuck in the safe box there and we can't access them, especially now they are closed on Saturday too.

I’m beginning to understand the low rating at this bank location. This is the second time I’ve walked in with an elderly individual needing bank support and waited while employees have sat at their desks working with each other rather than helping customers. First time was a 20 minute wait. We are at 10 and counting. Seriously bad customer experience and support!

The only branch in Santa Cruz and it's closed on Thursday at 1 pm :(

I had two very simple standard banking requests, they were unable to help with either one. This bank is slightly less useful than the B of A App. If you are considering Bank of America don’t. I’ve been a customer for a long time but I’m done.

This bank is CLOSED on a Friday at 2pm even though their google page was updated five days ago with new hours and it says it's open. Aptos branch is closed, too. Can't trust B of A to be open anymore. Sad to see the employees' hours get cut and shuffled around to 41st Ave.

I want to give my very highest recommendation to Santa Cruz BofA Branch Manager Annabel Alvarez.. I made a transaction at the Santa Cruz branch this morning sleep deprived from being up half the night. And while I had manually counted the amount the night before to be $7,000 - there was a problem with the cash being slightly damp from humidity, the counting machine wasn't working properly - and the teller counted it as $6,000. I was too fuzzy from lack of sleep to have asked to manually counted it when the discrepancy occured and said "Ok, your machine counts better than me" and left having made a $6,000 deposit. However, by the time I got home I realized I should have manually counted to clear this up. I called the branch, and Annabel was so good to be right on it and go do a recount with the teller and indeed, there was another $1,000 than I was credited with. I want to give Annabel Alvarez my very highest recommendation for her motivation, attitude - and most of all honesty!

It's a full service branch but since the recent remodeling they now have fewer teller stations and longer waiting lines to make deposits and withdrawals. It appears to me that they would rather have their customers do either online banking or use the ATM machines.

fast and easy. I love being able to stay inside your car. plus they have contact less service thru the atm via app that I am looking forward to trying
