This branch has been closed for some time. ATM only. They should update Google to reflect this.

This is one of the only BoA branches open in greater Portland. Its inside the busiest building in Downtown Portland. There is NO off-street parking. So you have to pay at least 5 bucks to go to your bank. I think this is on purpose. BoA is making it as hard as possible to get cash from personal checking accounts. It's been going on for a few years, pre pandemic even. I've been turned away twice without my withdrawal. It seems the only way to make a cash withdrawal is to make an appointment in the online app. Admittedly, I have a high balance and am usually in need north of 5 grand when making cash withdrawals. However, it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME!

The assistant manager accused me of forging the check that I was attempting to cash from one of my customers. The customer in question had asked me to write my name on the check. I requested that they call the customer for verification and they refused saying, "We don't do that.". I asked if I could have the customer call in and verify the authenticity of the check and they refused by saying, "Because we can't verify that it is really the customer." So I asked how they verify a customer's identity over the phone when the customer calls in and asked if they would use that process. The response was, "No. We don't do that." Well what on earth do they do? I don't understand why they would insist that I drive an hour away to get a new check issued when they could simply pick up a phone and clarify the situation. What is wrong with these people?!? They took a simple problem with a far simpler solution and turned it into a money losing business transaction for me. I will be invoicing BANK OF AMERICA for lost time and wages due to their inadequacy and lack of customer service skills. I am beyond livid with this situation and I will take every opportunity to call BANK OF AMERICA out on this. I will hit every facet of social media. I will post reviews here and on every other site that I can find to review them on. I will share this with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU because, Lord knows, BANK OF AMERICA needs to do better business! The audacity of accusing me of forgery and not having the common or business sense to clear up their error with a simple phone call. It is unfortunate that I can not post a negative star rating. This Assistant Manager and every BANK OF AMERICA would receive a NEGATIVE 5 rating.

Never open. Reducing hours and locations will be a slow downward spiral for BoA. Take away the customer service and customers will look for better options - which there are many.

They have been closed all week due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. I know bankers are known for not working many hours, but this is absurd. You would think they would send out updates to their customers but no. There is no sense of when they will open next. You just have to show up randomly and pray they are open.

Absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, At a bank or anywhere else. Been doing business at boa for years. I’m transferring all 3 of my accounts to another bank. Recommend you do your banking elsewhere. Unbelievable.

Can't blame the local branch for corporate behavior - but I had a very negative experience with corporate HQ.... will never do business with Bank of America again. Fee-ing your customers (for a closed account) and poor customer support has consequences. One star for corporate practices... not local branch (who actually called me to "fix" the issue that should never have occurred).

Showed up today to deposit a check only to find they are closed "due to circumstances beyond our control". When will they reopen? No indication given. I guess I'll be driving 5 miles to their other branch.

Shady Location. Bank officer named Chris failed to identify himself nor to identify his position within the bank, gave the wrong reason why he closed our account. My girlfriend clearly heard him saying how much he hates Russians and how unwelcome we are here and blamed us for mending with American Elections...like seriously?! How can someone this racist be employed by such a great bank? How can the bank allow such unprofessional behavior to take place where bank employees simply refuse to identify themselves.
