Bank of America Financial Center Telegraph Ave, Berkeley

I've been there twice in the past week and everything was alright. I didn't wait that long even without having any appointment. I would just recommend to go there early in the morning as I've seen tons of people in the line after 11am. But definitely, if you go there at 9 or even 10, you should not wait that much! The bank teller is very nice and does her job the best possible way! Had a good banking experience at this Bank of America Financial Center.

I don't get all the bad reviews: I suppose the lines can get pretty bad at peak hours, but at off-peak times I've had only good experiences. The first time I went there I got my account set up real fast with really helpful and professional assistance. I've been able to cash in checks or get checks fairly easily as well. Also, you can book an appointment using the mobile app so you don't have to wait.

Great place to go for all your financial needs. I remember signing up for a BofA checking account a while back and the process was extremely smooth and fast. Getting things like a cashier's check, checks, etc. are quite easy to do as well. There's a security guard standing outside beside the ATM machines which makes it safe (near the front of the bank, there's also ATMs on the side).

They always have the same security guard standing in front of the door. Even though he doesn't look like he could catch a thief, I'm pretty sure he's for safekeeping. I'm just not a fan of those kind of banks. Why is he necessary in the first place? I'd rather go to a good neighborhood

I haven't had any issues with this branch. The location is very convenient, and all of the staff were nice and courteous.

The staff and employees have been fine in my experience, though the hours/days of operation for this branch have changed several times in the last few months which has been frustrating to work around. Make sure to check the current hours of operation before stopping by as there's a fair chance they've changed since the last time you visited, from my experience. To their credit, they seem to update their google maps listing with the updated hours when this changes. UPDATE: Deducting 1 more star. It has been one day since writing the original review and the hours/days have once again changed. The bank was apparently going to be open today, but it seems that has since changed :/

i came there on Saturday 12\04/2015 around 12 o'clock there was two ladies inside one of them was working on the back and one of them was on the front,the lady who helped me on the front she look very rude and mad because i wanted to do deposit to my checking and saving account ,i gave her almost three thousand $ and she told me '' next time go to the ATM outside''. i replied that i took my money to the bank because of my safety but she replied with madness ,she said its OK .i think that's her job, that's why she is there ,but other bank of america locations are pretty good ,it was the first and the last time i go there.

Slow even at 3PM. I had 2 people in front of me and it took 15 minutes to compete my transaction. I was told that soon, they will not permit withdrawals from the teller, which means I will go somewhere else.

Gosh darn this location is fantastic for BoA users; as you can get ATM stuff done on your way to Asian Ghetto, or on the way to campus. They exchange laundry quarters for you on weekends. Location, location location.

Worst Branch of Bank of America ever! Only one person working in the cashier counter! She is taking forever to deal with the one customer.
