Bank of America Financial Center Federal St, Boston

I paid my homeowners insurance at loan closing for the house we purchased. The title company sent the check to the insurance company. The insurance company says they never got the money. The check was deposited/cashed at Bank of America and no one there will answer the phone to tell me what happened to my money. Such bad service, customer or not. (it won't let me post zero stars, so . . .)

I could tell the vibe once I approached the teller, so unwelcoming and negative from the beginning. I explained that I had call the day before needing information in regards of cashing checks. I had a check to cash that was Bank of America issued, but that I did not have an account with them, I gave all the details necessary to my situation and the person on the phone instructed all the documents I will need for this transaction. I went in person today and I was not able to cash my check, that was not the only issue, they were very room and argumentative, I told them they should train their people better to give customers accurate answers, but they got all defensive and non professional, this reminds me why I am not a Bank of America customer. I walked over to my back and was able to deposit my check, and they clearly told me there was nothing wrong with my Check and there was no reason Bank of America couldn’t cash it. Hypocrites.

Thanks to Gabe the relationship manager and the lady at the currency exchange counter, I got my business done satisfactorily. They were proficient, helpful, and friendly. The other staff also gave me the same feeling of efficiency and friendliness.

I truly used to be a die hard Bank Of America. Their New Way of banking though is disgusting.They appear to be squeezing as much money as possible out of people through fees and charges and all kind of scare tactics tricks.

I am a longtime (decades) customer of Bank of America. I am reconsidering that, since I just learned that BofA is among the biggest funders of the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline, which runs from Alberta tar sands through indigenous lands, and will bring the emissions of 50 power plants! I understand that your cancelled a 3/31 loan - thank you - but then granted a large 'sustainability' loan! I do not want my invested money used this way. Please reconsider. I will be watching.

I was looking for a new bank but discovered that Bank of America is one of the biggest funders of the Line 3 gas pipeline! Ewh. Don't let this bank invest your money is climate destruction!

No customer service skill. They refuse to answer telephones. Tried to open an account with a 12 million deposit. Could not get help. That bank is too big to be productive. Went to another bank. Your loss!

Terrible bank that rips people off and funds the Enbridge Line 3 pipeline, which violates sovereign indigenous land and will contribute to climate heating emissions we absolutely cannot afford!

The building is well maintained and Bright. If you're lucky enough to gain access to the upper floors, you will be treated to one of the most spectacular views of Boston.
