Bank of America Financial Center Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica

This is honestly the worst bank I have ever been to. I have never given a negative review in my life but this one was well deserved. I came in today with an appointment at 2:30 to open a bank account and cash a check, I did not leave until 4:15!! Victor was the only person there who was extremely kind and helpful, everyone else who horrendous and the service was abysmal. I understand places are understaffed but this had enough lazy people, management should look into why this places has so many awful reviews

I've used this branch for 5 years now, and they're AMAZINGLY CONSISTENT. Every time I come into the branch I lose a good portion of my life. 😃 It never fails! Between the long lines, horrible policy's, or poor staffing, I give a good 30-45 mins of my life away. I wouldn't come here if youre looking to make a quick transaction, it isn't their specialty. They really shine when it comes to making you stand on your feet for extended periods of time, and taking a piece of you life you won't get back. 😃

I have used this Santa Monica community branch bank for years, and like most banks they have their highs and lows, some good staff and poor staff. But certain managers remain the same, helpful and caring.

Bank of America is good. But don't talk to the Merrell Lynch guy. Abe. He will waste your time and try and sell you on some kind of stock options you didn't ask for. Update 8/1/19. Don’t be surprised by long queues with only one or two cashiers in the windows. The place is under staffed unless you say you want a credit card. Then a rep will see you straight away. Update; 17th April 2019. I didn't think this bank could be more useless. Needed a notary signature for a birth certificate, a bank rep informed me they do it but only for bank of America documents. So despite being a customer they won't help. The rep was nice enough the bank is useless

Very genuine and nice. Very professional. Edson Moran, Victor Forondo and Michael Sanchez and Herbert are all great bankers. They all helped me out so much while i was sending wire transfers and changing my account. I'm so unprofessional and they are so professional and helpful. Great parking 40 minutes free and just awesome. Even your really nice they might even let you use the private bathroom.

We were hugely assisted by Tedi, who was relaxed, very well informed, patient and resourceful. As Brits, we did need help and he was just excellent. Five stars no question. And thank you.

Just another Bank of America branch. Conveniently close to my hotel and was able to do an out-of-town deposit. The out-of-town transaction experience, in a way, made a routine bank trip fun.

Poor service on site , and the management is the worst I’ve ever deal with! Less than profesional but of course willing to show power is the Manager Carmen Nario. Somebody in corporate should talk to her! And make her aware that bank is not her house! at least she should not run it like it is. They don’t solve anything , always giving you excuses and washing their hands! Passing the ball to corporate or on-line service or etc... By the way, in order to avoid ruin my day dealing with them, I try to use the phone but they never answer the phone. I invite any in the corporation to try to get them to answer the phone. And please don’t tell me they are busy because I was there when the phones were ringing and they were just ignoring it.

I had been banking with Bank of America since 2005, but had to close my 3 accounts today after the less-than-professional experience with manager Carmen Nario and her staff. I've visited about a dozen branches over the past decade, and this one seems to be the worst run. The staff was completely disinterested in helping me. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day or maybe that is just the culture she has instilled there. Either way, I don't see myself doing business with the company again.

Had a bad experience today. Showed up, waited in line, which was long, as always. No one was in the lobby directing traffic, trying to expedite the line. One older lady, who must be a regular as 2 tellers recognized her, took up one of the tellers with her conversation for 10 minutes plus in what could have been a 2.5 minute conversation. The tellers didn't seem to work with ANY sense or urgency, nor did any of the bankers. A 5 minute trip to the bank shouldn't take 20 minutes. Overall, the experience makes me glad that I'm closing my accounts next week.
