    My experience was great @ this Bank of America location. Despite the reviews, I chose this location because it was the one closest to me. I was shocked at the amazing service given the reviews. Everyone was very nice, knowledgeable and kind. The manager was exceptional. Great job! Thanks.

    I'm not sure what happened to the old staff, but they have some pretty rude staff there now. The tellers are always a delightful and super helpful! However there was one person in particular whom I found to be extremely rude and seems to have never heard of personal space. I already had to wait a long time to see the teller. So when I’m finally there getting my transaction done he feels the need to exchange cash for another customer while I’m already at the window with the teller. This is no way shape or form is acceptable. Has he forgotten about COVID? I believe he is the manager but that was still very rude and he didn’t even say excuse me.

    I am giving it two stars only because the person i spoke to was respectful, however i believe that they look for excuses to turn customers away. I visited this branch on Tuesday at 3:30 PM to get 3 documents notarized, the lady asked me if i made an appointment and i told her that i did not. She repeated twice that you did not make an appointment to make me realize that i did something wrong. Since no was at the bank she hesitantly agreed to see what papers i wanted to notarize. When i showed her the papers she told me that she will not notarize photocopies and can only notarize the original forms. I felt that this was done to turn me away. I have been a very old customer of BOA and have gotten plenty of documents notarized before hence i did not buy the argument but left. I walked two blocks down and got the documents notarized from a courier shop.

    The WORST bank service EVERRRRRRRR!!!!! They don't greet you, in fact you get poor attitude and tone. Then they have one teller with the longest line ever, as a result you're waiting for a long time. That that one teller works slow as molasses. No consideration. She has the don't care attitude and you're on her time. She doesn't care, she's stuck there to 4pm. Then the icy was hearing her say to another customer "Her feelings were not hurt"..... Wow! talking about professionalism, right? You're better off taking the drive to the Hoboken BOA on Washington St. They are awesome with great attitudes.

    Terrible service at the teller counter with twelve people waiting and only one teller working. After 20 mins standing in line, when i reached the teller, Charmaine, who was terribly slow by the way, said I would have to use the ATM to deposit the check. Really!!@! When i approached the branch manger Geneva Brooks, she said the same thing. Beyond the terrible service and long wait, it was the pathetic attitude and the insulting tone of both the teller and her so called branch manager Geneva, was very disappointing. Will be closing my account and moving my business to a bank that respects it.

    It is amazing what a year does since I posted a scathing review. Thank you to Bank of America for improving things at the jersey city newark ave branch. Sarita and Gabriel assisted me to complete my banking business in a very efficient manner this morning. Much appreciated and gave me a renewed confidence in the branch

    Really bad customer service both at the front desk and with the banking agent. Its almost as if we are doing them a favor visiting their center to open an account or whatever. They fail to realize that the only reason these bank branches are still open is to provide in-person service - take that out and technology will quickly take over.

    Very lousy customer service. Still stuck in the 19th century .. team is very rude and management refused to listen.. I tried to deposit a check but Mr Cardenas decided that I don’t make any SENSE since I had a new account! After I asked to speak to his supervisor, the gentleman went and told the story to his boss Ms. Brooks. The nice lady came to me already charged repeating what her employee understood without even listening. I felt I was being treated as a thief in this bank!! Jesus Christ I will never go their again!

    I have banked with Bank of America for nearly 15 years and have lived all over the country. In most instances, I have been met with good and efficient customer service. Not the case with this branch. This is actually the branch I opened my account with all those years ago and I remember the service being significantly better than it is now. In my most recent experiences, the man who sits in the front desk, Giancarlo has been exceptionally rude to me on both occasions. The service is obscenely slow and it has been an overall miserable experience each I time I have had to conduct business there. Seriously considering switching to a new bank.
