First I got a referral from my neighbor who said ask Cathy real estate was fabulous. So we decide to go with Ask Cathy to sell our house. We were extremely pleased with the agent she sent over. Pam was super nice and so smart about selling houses and the market trends. She was so thoughtful and sweet when she came over to look at our house. Pam gave us several tips on what we could do or improve. All great suggestions. We needed to refinish floors and replace shower doors and she gave us great referrals that was wonderful. And when we needed to get things repaired she was able to get someone right out to help with our plumbing needs. We were so impressed with her knowledge when she sat down with us to go over a premaket offer. She also stopped by a couple of times and followed up every time we had questions immediately via text or phone call. She even came over after we had to move out but before the final sale day. Where to even begin?! Two years ago, my wife and I began looking to buy our first house. We tried connecting with several agents whom we were referred to because of their "aggressiveness" and "go getter" attitudes, but none seemed like a great fit. One day we decided to reach out to an agent we found online; that's when we met Allison at Ask Cathy. Full disclosure, "aggressive" is not what would come to mind if you met Allison. Finally, after two years, she celebrated with us when we closed on our first home. It was quite the journey together. We sold our home in Raymore, Mo with Shea Painter's services. We had some VERY difficult buyers who were unreasonably demanding and a general pain in the butt. Shea went above and beyond (repeatedly) to keep them and their buyer's agent in line, being on time for getting things done and held them accountable for their unwillingness to follow the process of buying a home. Shea magically got contractors to get some things done on the house just 2 weeks before Christmas when no contractors were available, and they did a great job. Pam and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better team to work with us. My mom has lived in Lee's Summit for over 40 years, and 35+ in the house she was in. Not only that, but my father had passed away 5 years ago, and he was the one that architecturally designed the home. So, beyond having so many memories there, it was a home my father literally designed specifically for our family. Plus, she was moving to a new city (O'Fallon, MO), and I am her only child and live in O'Fallon already. So, she was physically alone, and Pam was really good at communicating the more difficult details with me, and the details that mom wanted to be a part of with her. Her sensitivity to the situation, lack of pressure, assistance with having someone come in and let us know how to prep the home, and all of the details in between was so helpful not only for my mom, but for me who was trying to manage 4 hours away.
