ASE Credit Union Prattville Cobbs Ford Rd, Prattville

I have been an ASE customer for years and mainly use the branch in Prattville. In Prattville I walk in the door and I am greeted by my name with a friendly sincere smile. The entire team there is amazing, they give you the small town atmosphere that other banks don’t. I have had a few loans there and they make it simple and easy. Christian Drawdy leads a great team there and makes me proud to be a member. Other businesses could learn a lot from the Prattville branch!!

First, I must commend ASE for opening a branch in Prattville. It is much more convenient than driving to the Millbrook branch. With that being said, I must express my thoughts regarding the branch personnel. Christian, Molly, Rachel and Veronica are absolutely AWESOME!!! They are professional, courteous, and always willing to assist. I noticed on high volume days when the branch is really busy and they are shorthanded due to someone being at lunch or out for some other reason, their attitudes are still, customers FIRST. They continue to stay on point addressing the customers needs and do it without complaining. Just recently, Jeanette began working at this branch, and I must say, she is a perfect fit, complimenting the other employees by possessing the same aforementioned attributes. In my opinion, the only negative at this branch are the kiosk machines, which seem to be inoperable more often than not. This creates a problem, especially on high volume days when customers are attempting to utilize the kiosks and they are inoperable. As a result, branch personnel have to stop what they are currently doing and address those customers concerns; thus creating a further delay in rendering service, with a longer wait time. Customers then become irate, impatient, start complaining, and eventually walk out. And in some instances, take their frustration out on the employees when the inoperable machines are beyond their control. And on those occasions, the employees continue to exhibit a calm and professional demeanor, and even apologize for the problems being experienced with the kiosks. I understand the objective of utilizing the kiosk machines is to make things run more efficiently, timely, and hopefully eliminating long lines. This could certainly be achieved if the machines were operating properly, or at all. However, when they are inoperable, they then become nothing more than a useless piece of machinery. Now, it appears customers are being forced to use the kiosks when ASE have not figured out how to keep them operable. Perhaps upper management show explore some other measures other than kiosks. As for me, I much rather interact with a person opposed to a machine. The employees at the Prattville branch are certainly an asset to ASE and should be commended for their commitment to customer service. I say to them, keep up the good work!!! It is certainly being noticed and very much appreciated.

Christian Drawdy at the Prattville branch is awesome. I have dealt with her for several years for all my banking needs. She is always fast, friendly, and does a wonderful job.

My experience with ASE over the past few years has not been the best but Veronica Hollenquest at the Prattville branch helped change this. I’m really appreciative of the time she took to help sort out my needs. This was my first visit ever to this branch but it will not be my last :D

Oh my God! The Super Team of RACHEL BAKER CHRISTIAN DRAWDY MOLLY BROADWAY VERONICA HOLLENQUEST are soooooooo amazing! Anytime I stop by for a transaction, they are always very informative about the latest and greatest products that ASE has to offer. Not to mention, these ladies have went above and beyond, not only for me, as a customer, but for me professionally and have treated every client I have sent their way as if they were a family member and that means a lot. I have had countless customers brag on their experience with the team over at ASE PRATTVILLE! You ladies keep up the great work and keep treating every customer like GOLD! CT Thorn

When I first became a member of ASE, I thought they were great, but within the last few months, my experience has gone down the drain. The staff at the Prattville branch are friendly, so they have that going for them. I applied for a loan, and ended up going through a different credit Union after being offered better rates, and after the loan officer called me talking about a loan that someone else had applied for. Not even my application. I also had a fraudulent charge on my account, which I reported. I was charged by a retailer for something I never received. I signed my affidavit and gave lots of evidence showing that the company told me they would refund but didn’t. When all was said and done, ASE called to tell me they couldn’t do anything, because the retailer said they refunded me. When I inquired further, saying they can see my account and I did not get a refund, I was told “sorry, I can’t see the back end of things.” Thankfully it was only $37, but if I can’t trust them to help me with $37, why would I trust them with more? I also recently got married and needed to change my name. They wanted to charge me for debit cards to be in the correct name, which hasn’t happened at the other places I have accounts. That was the icing on the cake for me, and once I get my direct deposit straight, I will not have an account here any longer.

February 2021 I went to ASE in Prattville to open a checking, savings, & to refi my car and credit cards. See the thing is I lost my job in Sept 2020. I found another one making around 11K less shortly after. However when I went to ASE I was actually about to start a new job making just a little more than the previous job. I had the paperwork to prove it. My credit was in the fair range. I have a couple collections from years back, and the 3 main cards I used were almost maxed out. I explained to Rachel that it was due to me losing my job but since my income was getting stronger. I wanted to get my finances back in order as they were just a few months ago. The underwriters countered for a cosigner. I literally haven't had a cosigner in years, for ANYTHING. I asked them to take another look but she said they said due to my student loans, (which are in repayment with a min payment of $0.00) and current credit report (credit cards almost maxed out) I had to have a cosigner. The entire reason for me going to ASE was because I was told they worked with the community. Well that's untrue about ASE. I had a car loan and credit card at Guardian and they never asked for a cosigner. My income was not as strong and my credit was about the same. That was about 2 years ago now. Well I just wanted to inform ASE that two of the 3 cards I asked them to reconsolidate has been paid off in 4 months. One holding a balance of 2300 and the other 725. I did it without any loans from anybody. I tried to tell you all that I was motivated to get my debt in order but you refused to allow me to show you. And I'm still pondered in why bc my credit was ok in the 600s and I haven't had any missed payments on my accounts since 2015. Anyway it's your loss. My credit has gone from fair to good without your help. I'm sorry but I could NEVER recommend you all for any services. If anyone needs and financial support after having a small disruption in life please don't go to ASE. I can ONLY recommend Guardian. They are truly about helping people. And when I buy my house at the end of this year know it will be Guardian that I go to not you all.

Absolutely love ASE! Prattville is my branch, the girls are always so helpful and take care of all my business! Couldn’t ask for a better bank :)
