Arvest Bank N Harrison St, Shawnee

I have noticed improvement lately in speediness and friendliness that wasn't there a year or two ago. In almost 20 years of banking with Arvest, I've never once had a serious problem. Small frustrations here and there but that would be with any bank or any business in general. One thing I do wish would improve is being able to transfer money from my business account to my personal account online. Other banks allow for this so I'm not sure why Arvest doesn't. Other than that, it's a good, reliable bank.

I’m a former bank teller, and I understand being short staffed or busy, but whether there are two cars in the drive thru or 10, the staff allows customers to sit for 5 or more minutes without even saying “I’ll be right with you.” I have had poor service my last several visits. I have banked at Arvest for quite some time, and I’m on the verge of switching banks. I’ve visited at different times of the day, and it doesn’t make a difference. Slow no matter when. I’ve driven off and I’ve also gone inside to get the help I need after sitting in the drive thru. Please consider finding more help or training your staff on greeting customers to be informed that we will be helped as soon as possible.

I regularly use the Harrison branch of Arvest bank in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I prefer this branch, because of the quick, courteous service that I always receive. Often, I don't even have to tell them my name, because they recognize me as soon as I walk in! How often do you receive service like that in this fast paced world?! They are quick, efficient and friendly. My husband and I have been happy Arvest customers for years now.

More convenient for ME, if open at 8? AtLeast drive thru? Everyone is doing what THEY want, not the customer!!!!

Shawnee is full of entitlement Karen’s so that is the reason for the bad reviews. This is a great bank

They do foreign transactions at every other branch with arvest when your a member. Asked if i could open an account an deposit my foreign currency in US dollars and leave it in the account. They told me to go to imagration. So my friend has arvest an hes done it for me, i just dont have an account with them. They obviously dont know their own policies. Place should be shut down of they dont know company policy.

After reading previous negative reviews I didn’t really know what to expect. As soon as I walked through the doors I heard laughter and friendly exchanges between customers and employees!i was greeted by a smiling young lady who immediately asked how could she help me. I had a bit of an unusual request but she diligently and professionally handled it! I say shame on all that gave negative reviews! If I lived in Shawnee I would choose Arvest as my bank! Keep up the good work. God bless you all.

Received no communication that an old account of mine had been overdrawn. I found out when they sent it to collections. When I called Arvest to find out jm what was going on, they gave me no answers, not even what the charges were for. They told me I could find out what the charges were for but I would have to go to their branch and PAY for an account research to find out what the charges were for.

As a business person myself. Trying to hurry and come to the bank here to get change. If you consider 25 minutes a hurry....oh my goodness..... terrible....

Management is terrible and rude. The tellers kept complaining to one another about getting off work, showing their lack of care. Interest rates and benefits are a joke. Highly recommend banking elsewhere.
