Jim Barry of Artisan Mortgage could not have made our home buying experience any easier. His mortgage 101, which we asked him to go through several times, was incredibly helpful during our search. He made us aware of things to look for while searching online home listings, and helped us to understand how the mortgage process works. On top of all of that, his worksheet is very accurate and extremely helpful. We saw 6-8 houses a week, and would send him the numbers that he returned to us within a day. Other companies I tried to work with didn't give me the time of day and would always judge me because of my credit. There’s only one word that I can use to describe Jim Barry’s work ethic timely response to any question I had and his unmatched knowledge and that word is phenomenal. There was never a moment Throughout my process of buying my second home that I even had the slightest concern that I was not in good hands. I bought a new home and due to different complications with CO it took forever. Also being first time home buyer there was a lot for me to learn and go over things again and again. I am pretty sure things for some others can be even more complicated but going over 4 months and just waiting for me to give a go ahead I found the services provided to me were exceptional. During the whole time of delay which was on my part I was never pushed (which I liked very much) and was guided with proper information. I worked with Gil Citrin and he is just a marvelous person to work with, lot of patience and always provided right set of information. Gil would call me after every time there is an update was needed and not only just drop and email and forget about it. I was provided with timely responses when I had questions and always got a call back nearly immediately if I was not able to talk to them on first attempt. I saw Gil only once during the closing and at that time also he made it his extra effort to be present there personally so that I could feed comfortable and help me if there are any questions.
