DO NOT EVER USE APEX TO CLOSE ON ANYTHING! Please read.... My husband and I closed on the sale of our house on March 29, 2019. We walked away from the closing with a check in hand thinking everything was great, no problems. I wasn’t made aware of any issues until March of 2021 when I filed my taxes like normal and then I received a letter in the mail stating that The Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service applied my tax return of $8,502.00 to a delinquent debt that was owed. When I finally talked to someone they told me that they had tried to reach out to me in October 2020. They had tried to send me a letter to the address of the property that was already sold. First, we never received final title work after closing that is required and stated in contract. We were never made aware of this second mortgage on the house. Inaccurate information regarding total pay off was provided and caused us not to be given the opportunity to back out of the sale at the time. If I received closing documents showing I would have to bring cash to the closing table to clear the leans there is no way I would have proceeded with the sale. (Nearly $33,000 in cash) But again we were never given the opportunity to back out and only lead to believe that everything was in order. Apex was aware of the debt but failed to provide this and withheld it from the closing settlement or make myself and my husband aware of the debt. We should not have been able to close without this debt being paid off. That is the purpose of a closing company. In all of this mess, I have lost a lot of money trying to get someone to help me, racked up bills, accrued interest, taken out loans, faced bankruptcy, and I am still facing more major hardship with wage garnishment. The issue is upon closing of the sale on my home in March of 2019, Apex failed to disclose all leans on the property in my closing documents. I acted in good faith that upon the sale of my house, Apex as the closing company would disclose and retire all leans related to the property. I have asked for help to remedy this situation and the only thing Apex is saying to me is they will have no further involvement in the matter.... The buyers of the house also used Apex to close. This is the only reason Apex was able to get by with any of this.... I have been told by a handful of real estate agents and brokers that Apex is not a reputable company. They aren't honest and they will close on anything and everything with mistakes to make a dollar.

Just closed on our house yesterday the staff was friendly and this place is awesome and they have coffee in there that is similar to Starbucks

Horrible experience for loan closing on March 1st. Could not get a final amout due on the Friday prior to closing. Apex sent verification code to someone else's cell phone. Twice! Still no amount due as of 10:30 am closing day. I was coming from out of state and needed to wire funds. Closing had been moved from 2 to 3 pm. Finished signing at 3:55 and closing officer Cheryl Vega said she was leaving to make copies. After 45 more minutes I went to find her. Receptionist said Cheryl was waiting for final funding approval from lender. No communication! We asked what was holding things up and she didn't know. Turns out Cheryl had sent them a preliminary copy of a document rather than the final one. We didn't find this out from the lender until the next day. Of course Cheryl had assured us there was nothing more she could do Monday and had to pick up a grandchild. Pitiful operation and even worse customer service. Still no apology or contact from Apex. Use someone else for title needs. This company is totally incompetent.

I have been using Apex Title for all my transactions since the owner first started this company. It's not surprising that his company has become the best & most technology advanced title company in the Tulsa area. My closer, Cheryl Vega is absolutely hands down the best in the business! She has been doing closings for years & knows all aspects of the business. What I love best about her is she keeps me & my clients informed of what is happening in the transaction so there is never a last minute surprise. Apex Title is a first class title & closing from start to finish!

Nice offices and nice staff but it was brought to my attention that someone from Apex called my lender directly and chewed him out to his boss because he suggested I shop around for closing companies! I did shop around and Apex came in $500 higher than the other companies and when I told them I wasn’t going to use them they offered to match the other closers. I don’t appreciate Apex trying to get my personal lender in trouble for helping me get the best deal on closing.

Our closer Amber was just amazing. We were trying to get our wire transfer completed from another state and kept having one obstacle after another. Amber listened to our chaos and gave us support and guidance to get the closing done and on time. Thank you Amber and staff for a wonderful closing experience!

My family had a horrible experience with this joke of a company. We even emailed the owner a very nice and well thought out to explain our frustration, and he never responded. From now on, all of our buyer/seller contracts will state we will not utilize Apex. Folks, that’s how bad this place is.

Great! My closer was Tara and she was very professional and very going at her job and also very sweet. The rest of the staff was all very friendly and helpful and everything went off without a problem.

We had a little bit of a challenge finding the place. Once there the facility is beautiful. Everyone says hi when you walk in and offer coffee, water etc. We couldn't ask for better care. It didn't take long to get our paperwork finished and off we went. A very nice experience.

I’ve never experienced a more horrible company to work with than Apex Title & Closing Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma. To start, Cheryl Vega and her team (Tara Bratschun and Amy Greenleaf) was unable to send the final amount due on the Friday prior to a Monday closing. Apex sent the verification code to someone else’s cell phone. The Sunday before my Monday closing, I learned Apex changed my closing time from 2pm to 3pm. As of 10:30am on closing day, I still had no final amount. My lender, Tara, and I were on a phone call together where Tara was absolutely offensive in her approach to the point my lender was even appalled. I was moving from Kansas and needed to wire funds, which I had to do on my drive down because Apex was completely incompetent and unable to prepare their documentation on time. On the day of closing, I arrived shortly before 3pm and was done signing papers by 3:55pm. Cheryl Vega said she was going to go make copies for me, and we waited for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, my dad went to check with the receptionist who informed him Cheryl was waiting for final funding approval from the lender. I called my lender who had no idea what was holding up the closing – we later learned Cheryl had sent them a preliminary copy of a document rather than the final one. When Cheryl finally came back to the room at 5:05pm, she blamed everything on the lender and said there was nothing she could do and that she had to pick up her grandkids and couldn’t stay. She didn’t apologize, find another closer to step in, make living accommodations for us, etc. After learning this was Cheryl’s mishap that night, after everything went through the next day, I copied the owner, Damon Bedell, on my email to Cheryl thanking her for sending the correct paperwork this time. I never heard a word back from Damon, which exacerbates how terrible Apex’s customer service is. A week and a half later, I’ve still yet to receive an apology or any contact from Apex. My dad has been in the lending business for over 30 years, and he would never allow his company to behave like Apex did. Please, don’t waste your time with this joke of a company. You’ll be glad you did as this company is pathetic and completely incompetent.

APEX Title provided a great closing experience for us. Coming from Dallas, we sometimes thing Dallas is bigger and therefore better- but this was just not the case. APEX Title wow'ed us, exceeding expectations. Amanda was always on top of everything we needed and was patient as we gathered our materials. She and her team were professional throughout the entire process. Their office is impeccable, catering to all of your needs. In our instance, we were traveling out of state and needed to bring our dog into closing. They were welcoming, giving us a larger room for our pup to roam around and even included dog treats! Because of how organized they were, we closed on our house in less than 40 minutes! Highly recommend APEX Title's services!

We had a 90 mile trip to the closing office so we needed to get our Cashier's Check for closing squared away at our bank before we left town for a 3:00 closing appt. As of noon the day of closing, we still had no paperwork that showed our final closing amount, so we took an estimated amount in hopes that it would be sufficient. We arrived just before 3 p.m. and were asked to wait on the "final paperwork" to arrive. At 4:38 p.m. we were sitting in the car in the parking lot signing what had to be over a 100 pages of paperwork. No one from Apex ever apologized to us, no one seemed to take care in the fact that nothing was organized or prepared for our 3:00 appointment. We finally finished around 5:30. Tara V. tried to be helpful, but the lack of prepared documents was beyond her control. It was not a seamless process, and what should've been a joyous moment for us was a stressful and time consuming experience. I don't know if they don't have enough people working, if folks are just highly disorganized, or what the issue was, but I cannot recommend this Title Co.

Unresponsive, Unprofessional, and Unfriendly Communication with my contact there was poor, I worked with John DeSelms. He never returned a call and if he returned an email it was days later. While going in to close, no person introduced themselves to myself or my wife. Overall a very poor experince. We did close (only 4 days later than we planned.)
