Lisa and her team at Angel Oak Home Loans were outstanding. I own a business, which makes it incredibly difficult to get a mortgage. Lisa managed every aspect of this process from gathering all the information I needed from my various businesses to personally hounding people who weren't doing their jobs (like the appraiser and underwriter). No stone is left unturned with her and her team. I worked with 3 other mortgage brokers who couldn't get me a loan. It was clear they only had experience with W2 employees. Lisa was more educated than anyone else I've talked to. If you have a hard loan because you own a business, you need to talk with Lisa--she'll make it happen.

I've recently financed a home with Angel Oak. My mortgage advisor was Oktay Demirdal. I had to reach out to my advisor and his team a few times for clarifications/guidance and they were very responsive, even in weekends. Josh Anderson was our loan officer. He was wonderful to work with. He was available nearly at all times of the week. I worked with Earl Proeger at Angel Oak Home Loans. He was by far the best loan officer I have ever worked with. The last time I got a home loan, it was through a credit union and it was such a headache, with surprising new charges at every turn. Earl was able to answer every question I had and even give me useful information about the crazy market we are in now. If it weren't for him and my realtor Rachael Peterson, there is no way I would be getting a house right now.
