I just purchased my first home and financed with Anchor Home Mortgage. Daniel Reece helped me along the way to make the process as seamless as possible. He was informative and was always available to answer my questions around the clock. We closed in just three weeks with no issues! I highly recommend Daniel as your loan officer because he was terrific to work with.

Stay away from Anchor. Horrible experience - strange ever since I started receiving calls from the loan officer's manager - who raked me over the coals because they had put me in touch with thier "premium" loan company and I had better not "do anything to jeapordize thier relationship". He even called my real estate broker! Then!!!! They had a hack job come by and do an appriasail - home appraised for $100k below market value - they blamed this on me. The same manager calls me and jokes "You will thank me when you get the house for $100k less". A totally horrible person. Switched to a real mortgage company - property appriased $130k over the Anchor appriasal. Closed my loan in 20 days with them. Again - just don't do it - find a real mortgage company to work with

I had an amazing experience from beginning to end with my Home Refi. Tyler Findley was my loan officer and by the time the loan closed, I felt as if we were good friends. He was highly professional in every interaction, quickly responsive to every phone call and email and made me feel like I was his only customer. He was very personable and warm so I did not feel like just another number or like I was interrupting his day when I had a question. He prepared me for every step of the process and answered questions before I even asked. I am a real estate agent and have worked with many lenders over the years so I know excellence when I see it. I have now added Tyler and Anchor Home Mortgage to the top of my referral list for my customers looking to purchase a home. I know they will be well taken care of!

I used Anchor Home Mortgage for my recent home purchase and couldn’t be happier. I’m a first time home buyer so really didn’t have a clue about the process. They were really helpful at explaining the processes and prompting me when I had forms to complete. The portal that they use for form signing/ your mortgage to-do list was very easy to use. Anchor were very transparent about all the costs and I’m confident that they got us the best rate. I would recommend Anchor for first time home buyers and experienced home buyers alike.

Michael and his team were fabulous. He got me 2.5% interest rate on my mortgage where other bank was offering 2.75 to 3.05%. We closed within three wks. It was easiest ever compare to other bank.

Great company to work with. Daniel Reece took great care of me during my mortgage refinance. He was patient, honest, and treated my wife and I like family. I shopped around for refinances and found no other company offered a better rate, little to no fees and most importantly dedication to service than Anchor. I can't recommend a better company to work with for refinances or new mortgages. This company found ways to save me more money than any other company I shopped around with. They roughly saved me about $520 per month from my now previous loan. Will be using them again for my future purchases!

Sean gave advice to wait a few days to lock in anticipation of a better rate; and he was right which shaved .3% more off my already reduced rate. An overdue review for Anchor and Daniel Reece. I went through my first home purchase at one of the craziest times in recent real estate history and I’m glad I chose Anchor to partner with. My home was a new construction that took just over a year to be delivered. Daniel made himself available around the clock - and I mean literally around the clock - to answer any questions I had, as well as just to reach out with information as it became available. He offered his expertise and consistent support not only directly with me, but with the representation of the builder and the title company. It was a wild ride of a year - our estimate closing was continuously pushed - from an October estimate to eventually closing in February! Daniel stayed with me every step of the way and we were able to secure a rate lock that in hindsight, was truly incredible considering where rates ended up just a few short weeks later. If your looking for someone who will go to bat for you during the mortgage process, give Anchor a call and ask for Daniel! Thanks again man!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Daniel Reece and Shawn Debord are superstars! They were so patient encouraging and understanding. Daniel made sure to get me a good interest rate locked! There were times I got a little discouraged and they knew just what to say to pick me up. I have learned so much through this process. The main thing to know is have your paperwork in order. Keep a paper trail of all your $$$ transactions that’s $900 and above. Keep good records! Thanks so much guys for sticking with me and my son through all this! I mean these guys waited for me to to let them know that closing was done! You both deserve a pay raise and a promotion!!! If you are lucky to have these two men work your loan, you will be in great hands!

I started working with Brandon from anchor mortgage. They said he got sick. I told their team leader to switch loan officer. He told us we would be switched. We were never switched loan officer and forced to work with a guy that does not reply. Way before he got sick it was hard to get a reply from him. It’s been 3 weeks later I called and emailed everyday and would never get replies or would get random rare phone calls asking for what they needed. We were trying to move from fha to conventional. Anchor would not answer this question about where this closing cost was coming from and we were told it’s for your auto and need it for closing. Paid off Auto loan has nothing to do with mortgage closing and we were told that’s total debt but that number did not add up. It has been 3 weeks and we chose to withdraw. They never replied to an actual loan estimate and could not get a straight answer to this question. This company is a broker, cannot schedule conference call, does not reply until half a day or day later. Confirmed that no one was properly handling our case. Beware of their practice of waiting and wasting time from fha to conventional. They will not answer questions but would need so many proof of this and that when they’re using the lower credit score. Another person wrote a review similar to our case below. Our credit scores were over 700 and 800 and no other debt besides the house. If you are streamlining fha try other lenders, keep in mind they’re a broker with who knows what hidden fees.
