I have been paying my lease with the paylease service for 6 months now. Upon arriving to this location I was told by the manager Edgar that I couldn’t pay my rent unless I had my paylease account number. Any other location where I go to providing the account number is not necessary being that I can confirm my account with my name and address. Edgar was passive aggressive refusing me services and stating that he doesn’t want me coming back with any problems and stating they put it in the incorrect account. I have no idea how that is possible because #1 I am paying my rent , I before him do not want any issues with the deposit # 2 he can confirm my account with my name and address. I felt really uncomfortable and disrespected because he just didn’t want to help. He could have gave me solutions but instead told me I should know my account number as if he was my father. I’m not sure who he thinks he is speaking to a customer in that manner. The associate that was helping me on the other hand was quite pleasant and even offered to help me look for my account number in my phone. The one star if for that associate. I want to thank her for her professionalism and patience.This is a case of being in a supervisory role with out any customer relations experience . I will not be back to this location and be spoken to in that way.

The very worst Amscot I have ever been to. They say they call but never do, and also they “leave” voicemails when of course, it is NOT true, saying mailbox is full when in reality they just write that down as an excuse!!!!!! This can be proven. Their customer service is out of the window and be very careful providing your information to these agents. PLEASE save yourself a trip and try to find another one in the area.

We visited today, we go there regularly. We were there this Sunday morning. Customer service was great. Only three employees. But the young lady that took care of us, actually was able to take care of two customer, at the same time. Amazing, and great. This company is outstanding. The CEOs, of this company really know how to hire people. I can tell, they are concerned, about the service, that customers receive. Because this is what we experience today. I take my hat off, to Amscot.

I wish I could rate with 0 stars. It's a shame to experience racism from your own people. I was drilled and given the 3rd degree about checks I was cashing. After the checks came back legit, I wasn't even given an apology. The representative was rude and had a very bad attitude. I will never visit this place again. I felt I was being over charged to cash a moneyorder. They want your money but have no respect for their customers. Worst experience at window I7G on yesterday 🙁👎🏽

Very rude encounter From the Spanish guy and all of the black women like is this high school or a business... very messy and unprofessional place don't recommend coming here you would expect after a long Day you can at least get great customers service at Amscot...

I visited this Amscot on 9/6/2021. I had a check from the Illinois Comptroller’s office. The date is 4/2021. Since the check is not void until after a year, I didn’t think it would be a problem cashing it. Apparently there was a problem. Or it became a problem after the cashier made sure to find a problem. She asked for identification. I had the correct identification. She asked for the bottom half of the check. I gave it to her. She asked for the envelope it came in. I gave it to her. She asked for my thumbprint. I gave it to her. She asked what the check was for. I told her what it was for, and also pointed out it says what kind of check it is on the bottom half of the check. She then went to talk to someone else. ( I’m assuming a supervisor). She then made a call and informed me she could not cash the check. I called customer service myself and they backed her up. To say I was totally embarrassed is putting it lightly. Amscot never had any intentions of cashing the check, they just wanted the sick joy of making me jump through their hoops, just to turn me away. So rude, so condescending and just bad business practices. They should just post a sign stating they don’t want certain checks or they don’t want certain customers. Please avoid this place. I hope other locations have better service. Unless you enjoy being interrogated, being asked to produce ridiculous amounts of proof and the just turned away in the most unprofessional and snarky way…go somewhere else

Love how they laugh at you when you're in a hurry, they need to be more organized!! They're very rude and unprofessional. They need to work on their customer service skills. I worked in a condo with rich people and they treat me better than here, Sad enterprise, gotta love putting places like here in low black income neighborhoods..

The employees in this Amscot are very unprofessional and rude. I own a good amount of money back but since the virus outbreak 😷 I lose one job and getting less hours with the other. I called to ask may I make payments they told me no. So I went to another amscot and they are so sweet and professional. After that the amscot in north Miami Beach kept blowing up my second contact. Very rude and not understanding at all.

The most unprofessional place I’ve ever been. They basically play musical chairs with their customers and workers. They don’t acknowledge you, the workers forget about you or ignore you. They barely care honestly. There has to be a better Amscot in the area. I’d travel 30 extra miles to find a better serviced amscot.
