Amscot - The Money Superstore W 49th St, Hialeah

They treat people as if they were nothing. They forget they have a job because they have customers. Evelyn has latin supermarket customer service. Bad attitude. Bad vibes. Some of them are slightly fine, and that's why I am not giving this place one star. They complete the job at least. I still don't understand why they have a sign on their name tags saying they speak Spanish, but when you speak Spanish to them they insist on speaking English with a heavy accent. Too much unjustified ego. Customer service is not their priority.

They will literally take your information social, address, and ID then tell you they won’t cash your check! Requesting a new social today because they are very untrustworthy and blatantly racist. Told me they couldn’t cash my check and I should come back in two days WITH NO EXPLANATION. Went down the street to another check casher and it was cashed within ten minutes. Not sure how a whole 7 member staff of Hispanics could be racist but I’m very uncomfortable with them having my info.

Amscot needs to have educated, professional and qualified workers in charge. Today I visited the AMSCOT office on W 49th Street in the city of Hialeah. All clients were treated like garbage by the worker. I do not understand how such an unpleasant woman, zero professional and lack of humanism capable of offending clients, including the elderly, keeps her job. I mistreat everyone. Together with me, an abused elderly neighbor of the compound told me that she always goes to this office because she cannot go to another far and she is always mean to everyone. You remember this lady very well and she is always a garbage of hers, her attitude with clients. She did not have a difficult day, she has a bad heart. I will never recommend this branch to anyone because no one deserves abuse. AMSCOT with a worker like this mean, unprofessional, ugly and dry woman, she loses daily professionalism and potential clients.

Very bad service from the employees especially from the lady named Jenny that's why I gave her one star

Had a confrontation with an individual who skipped the waiting line, did not even make the line walked his way over to my window and after having an argument with him, no one from MANAGEMENT made him go to the next window or got involved to explain to him that the waiting line or area for the next person to be called is between the poles in front of the TV/ Call Box. I am sooo mad that no one from.the establishment corrected the guy for doing the wrong thing so why the ;_(_+_; have a line and monitor box if your not going to make the people abide by the rules.... Next time I will throw all the stationary line markers out the door and let management pick them up...

I wanted to send money via Western Union and (supposedly) they have a specific window for that. I had to wait like 10 minutes or more till one of the many that passed by my window wanted to help me. At that moment I learned that they only accept cash, so I went to a ATM they have in the lobby. When I returned I had to wait for her again, luckily a little less. She gave me a form to fill very strange asking for my social security number , the name and address of my employer and things like that. When I asked why all those unnecessary data she said that I needed to be on the Amscot data base. "But I'm just sending money, I dont want to be on the data base" I said . "Thats the way we do it, on order to send money with us you have to be on our data base" she said. "Well, maybe I beed a better place to send my money, thank you" was my reply. I think its ridiculous all the bad customer treatment I got and the requirements to send money in that place. You can be sure I won't return ever again

I am giving 1 star in this review due to the poor customer service they give here. The employees are very rude and dont provide good customer service even if you treat them well. They dont say hello and even yell at you when you dont agree about something. I will consider another cash advance company due to the very bad service they give here. So sad because their rates are competitive. I would not recommend to a friend.

Waited forever to be seen and they where taking people that came in after me before me I asked the lady why do they call you to the next window just to make you wait and then take people after you I have never had this experience at any other Amscot she said the line is at the window I advised they still should not take people that came in after me

First time at this store and very disappointed I was attended by a men name Alex his attitude it was no professional at all I will never visit the store again sooooo rude poor value poor customer service the worse I'm understand maybe your were working long hours but please Help customers in a nice way and a positive attitude no like that trashy a people like that don't deserve to be hire ! Only one hundred dollar loan and wanted to charge $54.00 a month monthly fee. Disgusting

Every single time I have gone to this location I have been singled out for an additional process even though I meet all criteria. When I first came to amscot I was told that I must have a positive balance and wait 24 hrs to do a cash advance again if check is charged from amscot. I have met these criteria and provide proof. But I feel singled out every time with additional screening. I manage businesses for a living (fortune 500) and I have never once had a situation but when I ask employees give me dirty look for simply asking and yet they always say corporate is the one making them do this.

I've lived on the east side of Hialeah for a year already and ever since I moved, I've had to start coming to this Amscot and I try to avoid coming to this spacific location, because it's always packed and they work very slow. They should have more employees working throughout the day to make the lines move quicker. I really wish I could give this Amscot a better rating but unfortunately I can't. I once went to an Amscott where there was one employee working and there were about 12 people and she attended us all a lot quicker than what they have in this location.
