    Our originator, Kau, was a nightmare to work with. Numbers were construed and fees added left and right from the original disclosure. They ended having to redo my paperwork the morning of my closing because they were trying to steal roughly $2,000 from me. I have since sold that home and they have owed me a refund from escrow that’s over $3900. The idiots sent the check to the house that I sold. Now I’m having to wait another 2 months for someone to reissue the check. It takes 5 minutes to write a check, less time if typing it and printing it. They are just sitting on my money while making more interest off of me. The helpline won’t “help” and I can’t get a superior employee on the phone. Go elsewhere.

    I had an amazing experience working with Jared L. He was always available to help answer any questions. Im a first time home buyer and I had no idea what it was to buy a house. First time I called AmeriSave Jared picked the phone up and spent about 2 hours explaining me everything step by step. Jared is very friendly and knowledgeable, he always give out best advice. Whenever I have questions, he always return my call on the same day. Hope can work with him in the future too. 100% recommended !!!!

    I have been waiting to close on my loan for a couple weeks now. All paperwork they have asked for has been submitted in a expedited manner. Have sent over loan quote 2 times and to my surprise the rates have gone down. After reviewing the document a little closer I see the insurance and taxes are only 90.00 per month. The story I am getting now is they are waiting on the pay off module to clear. I gave 500 deposit for 45 day rate lock now have 10days to go. I was told if I got paperwork in quickly closing would be quick. Which I have. One time after talking with my originator about my loan being on track to close quickly, got a call from him saying that because the appraisal took so long we would have to do rate lock extension (btw this call came 5 minutes after the previous conversation) turns out he had wrong customer on the phone. After reading other reviews I have no doubt this is going to happen to me. I bet management has a boat named “rate lock extensions”

    We’re in the process of refinancing. It’s only been 2 days and we have serious concerns about this company. We only have one point of contact who misquoted our closing costs by almost two thousand dollars. She said it would go down once our escrow was transferred but what does that have to do with the ridiculous underestimate of the costs? We’re going to have to pay for the misquote with our own escrow funds??? Now, I have corrections to the documents that she rushed us through signing while she was on the phone and no reply from anyone. Yesterday, I received a text from someone in her office stating that they needed a document signed ASAP. It was a paragraph long and the only thing that it didn’t say was what document needed to be signed. I understand that she’s the loan originator and most of her job is done but give me someone else to call or delegate it someone else. We’re ready to call it and lose money to get away from this deal because if this is how they treat you during the application process, we don’t even want to think about closing or how they will service our loan. UPDATE: thanks anyway “customer satisfaction” for your reply. I read your responses to other complaints and used the phone number listed and the email address. I called all day yesterday and no one answered the phone. I just received a message that said, “leave a message and we’ll get back to you in 24 hours or email us if it’s urgent.” Still no reply. Alas, it felt like I had to call half of Georgia to get anyone to respond but finally a lovely woman named Diane in reception was able to get someone to call me back. I still don’t feel entirely comfortable with this company; however, between Diane and Al Hudson, I feel much better about proceeding. Mr. Hudson answered all of my questions and made the changes that were necessary. He took the time to ensure that I received adequate explanations to my questions. If it wasn’t for Diane, I’d still be waiting for a reply. She deserves a raise for excellent customer care! Mr. Hudson allowed me to vent my frustrations before proceeding to address my problems and concerns. Both are excellent representatives of AmeriSave.

    I would never recommend this mortgage company to anyone. We decided to give them a try because they kept calling us to do a refinance. The loan officer overvalued our home and now we're out of $500 dollars which we really really didn't have and didn't qualify for a refinance. I feel loan officers should not rely solely on sites that provide estimates of home values because they're seldom not accurate. It would have been nice to get half of our money back but they never offered.

    I would highly recommend Ernest, he went above and beyond to have a seamless financing process. He is very knowledgeable, comes with a lot of experience which allows him to think outside of the box for any complex processes. He was patient and took the time to review all the documents and options. He negotiated a competitive rate which was a bonus. I will definitely highly recommend him.

    Worst refinance experience ever!!! Avoid this company. All they do is taking your $500 deposit and request thousands of irrelevant documents from you until you are so sick and tired and walk away. I had to upload same document at least 5 times to the portal. Every time they told me all good and we are good for closing, somehow it will come up with more random request of more documents. It is a never ending process. Their underwriters are idiots did not read the documents and keep asking stupid questions and asking for documents that has completely no relationship to the loan app. Stay away from this company. The worst ever!! This

    Amerisave is a good company. However, there are delays in closing. We were given several closing dates throughout the process. But all in all, the people are always very friendly and professional. There is ONE lady that especially STOOD OUT...Tamika Goff! She was a wonderfully pleasant, professional, DILIGENT and conscientious worker. Tamika EARNED our trust! She is quick to answer emails and is proactive in finding answers to questions and concerns.     After a -not so great- experience with a major bank that started with a C, an AmeriSave Rep called me and I never looked back. Steven Thompson was awesome and next thing I knew, it was over and I was in my first home. Amy Fitch was also a great help with tracking down documents so I didn't have to worry about what was missing in the application and what was not.

    Please please do not take a mortgage with AmeriSave. The rates seem to be low but there are so many catches. My refinance closed on Jan 15th and on Jan 25 I got a email saying it is being transferred to DOVENMUEHLE, which has a 1 start rating and is known to be absolutely horrible. I asked if I could send back the money and they said no. They waited until right after the deadline to send the money backtrack notify me and of the transfer because they knew I would cancel if I knew. This company is a scam and just a cover to ensure the mortgage companies that can’t business on their own still received business. Please learn from my mistake and do not do business with this company. Please note I haven’t even talked about my refinance process which was horrible because when I read the reviews others had similar experiences. I wanted to make sure everyone knew of this part as well.

    This is the first time in my life that I had a mortgage. I did not know what to expect, did not know what to do at all. This company worked with me through every step of the way until closing. I was very pleased with the rate I received, very pleased with every step that I had to go through.It seemed to be overwhelming at first but talking to my loan processor made it better. I would recommend this company to everyone. My experience with them was A+. Again first time home buyer!! Yay!!

    Decent rates, the worst customer experience possible. Long hold times followed by multiple transfers to the wrong department. On top of it all they take escrow payments and wont pay your insurance on time, even when you call to give them a heads-up that it is coming up and that it needs to be paid to prevent a lapse in coverage. If there is a late fee to re-initiate coverage they will tell you they don't have the ability to pay it, and your only remedy is to email a customer service alias that probably doesn't exist. Shop elsewhere the bar is low!

    My Amerisave personal contact did his job well. I felt like the number crunchers delayed me purposefully as they were ridiculously reluctant to loan me money. At least, until the market rates went up. I am, admittedly, biased towards the loan industry as a whole. You should form your own opinions. The initial delays on my end were due to covid. Understandable. Rates change. There was a reverse mortgage my nana set up. It needed paying. Once I got an Amerisave loan, with the money I already had, I could pay off the reverse mortgage. Then I’d owe them instead. I also needed their loan before my home was foreclosed on. They did not meet that deadline. I needed a personal loan from family to stop the foreclosure. I used the Amerisave loan to pay them back. The number crunchers wanted note after note after note explaining where every single cent of my money came from. It wasn’t enough I had the requisite cash to pay the reverse mortgage, with their help. I was putting my nana's house, the house I now live in up as collateral. They would make money in its sale should I fail to pay. They needed get a note explaining every single cent in my accounts. It was also bank statement request after bank statement request, month after month. Not even ones signed and stamped by the bank was acceptable. This went on over a year. It almost felt like they didn’t want to put me in debt to them. I ask why? I’m told the number crunchers say they need it. Otherwise, I don’t get my loan. If there was a good reason I’d stuck it out after the reverse mortgage was paid? A big part would be my sales rep. I could have just restarted anywhere if I wanted once the deadline was passed. My sales rep did well. Felt they put a lot of hard work in on my behalf. They were relatable and now I have a loan. I am not impressed with how stingy the company as a whole came off. I am impressed with my sales rep.

    This company is gathering customer’s information from credit triggers (when a persons credit is pulled) and confusing clients already working with a lender by acting like they are affiliated. Very deceptive lending practices which probably reflect their actual services. More than likely a call center with less qualified loan officers trying to steal business from hard working mortgage professionals. Not to mention they are charging borrowers up front fees to lock in rates for $500. If you received a phone call from these folks, I would stay far away. I think the amount of 1 star reviews says enough. Always do your due diligence and research companies.

    I will start off saying I don't like to give bad reviews but keep reading and you will see why! Worst place to refinance! 2 months in my payment went up over $200. Payed the escrow balance to bring it back down and it still went up $39. After I signed the agent didn't contact me back with questions I had. I have been led to constantly since I used them. Don't use them.

    This brand and their reps will lie thru their teeth to get you to sign up to pay $500 to "secure" a "certified approval" that never arrives. They will email you constantly for more and more paperwork. We arrived to this brand with 790-800 FICO scores, money saved for closing costs and down payment, and almost all necessary documentation for the process of applying for a mortgage loan. We thought we would be easy clients to work with. I sent each document they asked for, each time they piece mailed me requests for further information. The back and forth is completed unprofessional. I mean, I think I was asked for additional information at least 10 times in the first couple days. How about have plan/program to cover the bases so you aren't sent back by underwriting to request more documentation. It seems they have a broken system when collecting stips required to build a package for a borrower leading to a pre-approval. I have 4 other lenders with much better offers and far less the hassle. I'd say that if you are a prime borrower, do not do busines with this brand. Maybe if you have no other options go nuts. But if you have options, do not deal with these clowns. They give misleading information such converting from a conventional loan to VA is a breeze. Not it's not. They left out plenty of information. They also will make you feel coached while misdirecting you to pay them their fees. That's one example. There are several more I'll leave out for sake of wasting the least amount of time I can on this brand. The salesmanship and lack of attentiveness from our rep Andrew was bush league. I myself am in sales. This is an industry where borrower approach the lender. There is hardly any salesmanship required so these guys can certainly be better rather than treating you like a number to get a measly $500. This brand is in league with used car sales at best. They can keep the $500. Also, their underwriting department asked for a date when my fiance's maternity lease would be ending. I don't think that is an appropriate question. They can definitely find another way to gather the information required to make a pre-approval for a mortgage loan. From being forced to invest $500 up front, to buying points when I didn't ask to, to additional fees not discussed, this brand is far from transparent. Andrew tried to have me pay and DocuSign for docs that had not yet been corrected based on conversations we had about making changes that we needed to meet our criteria. Thru trust and explanation, I signed and paid. What a mistake that was. If you're desperate, these are the kind of people you should work with. If you aren't, then you will not want to waste your time with them. Best of luck.

    Either this company uses false redlining practices or needs process improvement. I started to do the preliminary qualification for a refi-cash-out loan. Since it's just a soft-pull on your credit report, I thought I'd give it a try. Half way through the online application, I used a mortgage calculator to get an idea of what the interest rate might be since the latest hike. Knowing my credit score and everything, the rate wasn't bad, but with the entire cost of the loan and all other fees I changed my mind. Also, the system stated they couldn't pull my report due to a freeze I have on it. Since I changed my mind anyway, I didn't unfreeze it. About five minutes later, I got a call from a representative asking if I would like to move forward. I explained that I changed my mind due to the fees, etc... and she tried convincing me to speak with a loan officer because they may get better rates. I said okay, and lifted the freeze for one day. However, I later did the calculations again and still decided against it, so I told the loan officer the same thing that I told the original rep. Okay, so I thought all was said and done. About a couple of weeks later, I received two statements from AmeriSave saying they did the soft pull. One was addressed to "No One" and the other had my name on the address part. Both statements inside had my name listed and two different dates. One for April 21, and the other for May 2. I did not give permission for a second soft pull! Also, both statements said my score was in the low sixes. I am not sure where they got that from. I knew my score was much higher, and over the minimum requirement, but I decided to check to see if it lowered for some reason. It had not. Furthermore, they listed reasons being derogatory public record, payment history, and all of these other negative things that did not even apply to me. I'm not sure if they were purposely trying to discriminate due to my zip code with false info. in case I ever changed my mind, or if they are being pressured to keep doing these soft pulls, but it's very strange. I am so glad I didn't go through with the real application. I can only guess what kind of unpleasant experience that would be.

    Should have listened to the other reviews. My Loan Originator, Andrew Torres, lost interest almost immediately. He provided even worse service than I anticipated based on these reviews. The biggest issue was that Amerisave literally asked for document after document after document. I was asked for paystubs, taxes, tax transcripts, and they asked for a new document every day. Frustrated, I dropped the whole process on Friday April 1 and went with another lender. I got a better interest rate, provided a few documents, and we are all set for closing on 12 April. Amerisave was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend them.

    Final opinion 6/10/22: So while we are sitting in our dream home because of Amerisave and their team, I believe the process could be streamlined or somewhat easier. Communication wasn’t the best in the beginning, however, towards closing everyone was busting their butts till 8 pm, possibly later. We finally felt like Amerisave was working with us. It was about a 90 day hurdle but well worth it. I would like to give kudos to Miselady, Brian, Sean, Coleman, and anyone and everyone that made this happen for us. Thank you! The saying that nothing good comes easy is a fact of life. I would highly recommend Amerisave mortgage with a few notes: you will put in work for your loan or refinance, you will get frustrated, you may have times of little to no communication but all the while, they are also working and waiting with you. Summed up: Yes, they are legit, they do lock rates, they are not the quickest but they will get the job done. Be patient and upload the documents again when asked. - Shaylah Update: So far, the quickest part of this process has been the response to this review. This mortgage process with Amerisave has been a nightmare. The document upload process is unduly burdensome. Thankfully, my real estate agent is a wonderful advocate. There will be another class action lawsuit if the reviews out there are all correct and without solution. As for my process, I'll be back with an update. Hopefully, I can raise my stars. We'll see.     The customer service in the beginning was amazingly superb. However, after I paid $500, it was pure crickets!!! Lyn Tinsley documented I would recieve over $9,000 in lender credit. It sounded far too good to be true. I passed the document around to others and they thought the same. She verbally told me, if I decided not to go with AmeriSave I could recieve my money back ($500). After reading the reviews, there were many people posting bad reviews on customer servcie and numbers changing for the worse in the agreement. I decided to play it safe and go with another lender. I emailed Lyn and asked that she returned the funds. She immediately called me and stated its non-refundable.....WOW! I stated that I'll add to the bad reviews like everyone else and she was non-chalant and it didn't bother her one bit. AMERISAVE, PLEASE RETURN MY $500. I did not sign any documents stating my money was not refundable. YOU DID NOT DO ANY WORK FOR ME. I DID NOT LOAD ANY DOCUMENTS YOU ASKED ME FOR.

Will leave you hanging. Keep options open, and shop around, their prices are easily beat. Had bad experience with Aimee and Antonio. Did a rate lock for $500 and never refunded me when I left to a competitor. Very scamish.

    I sent a message asking how much I would qualify for a home loan. They told me, asked if I wanted to speak to a loan officer.. I said no. I wanted to pay a few credit cards off before checking my credit. I got a letter today from Amerisave Mortgage company, with a credit report and a denial for a loan application! I didn't authorize a credit check, or apply for a loan.when I finally spoke to a loan officer, she said they didn't pull my credit.. it clearly stated this was from Amerisave . This is not a good company to trust. I don't recommend them at all.

    Austin Fitter from the very beginning of the process was such a pleasure to deal with. We had been trying to purchase a second home up in a secluded area and had already been dropped by our first lender (Rocket Mortgage) because they could not find an appraiser to use AMC. So coming into this loan process, Austin was very confident that he could get it done. There were some more issues with trying to find an appraiser in the area to use AMC. However, Austin and his team were very supportive and patient to say the least until we were able to find an appraiser to finish out the process. I can't thank this group enough for their hard work and open communication to make sure we got the house that we have dreamed of. Austin and Forrest, you two were fantastic. I hope this company rewards you for hard work and commitment to this company. You two are the reason why we stayed with this lender. Great job!

    I was looking to purchase a home, I started off with this lender they immediately denied me, so I seek approval with another lender. I accepted an offer on a home and AmeriSave explained they could save me money and beat the rate of the current lender and explained I was approved. I questioned it..I asked how all of a sudden I'm approved, when you all denied me. They assured me they could assist me in purchasing the home. So I left my current lender to come to them for the better rate. 2 weeks prior to closing they told me they could no longer give me the FHA rate and loan they approved me for and that I had to switch to conventional. I already had switched once and the seller was over the back in forth. I spoke with AmeriSave about denying the loan so that I can receive all my money back, they agreed and told me I was pre-approved and I need to make an offer on a house and that I can purchase. I made an offer on a house brought it to them and they stated after they told me I was approved that I was denied agin and they couldn't help me. At this point I am livid because I could have stayed at lender I was already at before they made these false promises. I am sorry I even delt with this lender. I am now searching for another lender. I regret working with them. Don't Do it !

    Beware of getting quotes!!! Last year, I reached out for a quote on refinancing my mortgage. I found a better rate and cancelled everything with Amerisave. Amerisave took it upon themselves to send a letter to my homeowners insurance company that they were now the mortgage holder. Totally NOT the case. Long story short, I now have no insurance coverage because of a waterfall of miscommunication events that followed between Brightway, Slide Insurance, and my current lender. Just make sure if you get a quote that they don't try to take it over before you close.

    PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. If I could rate this company a minus 10 I would. Worst experience ever, scammers!!!! they collected $500 and told us we were approved then ghosted us for a while. Few days before closing finally somebody responded saying that they need more docs, which we provided initially.. then loan was declined knowing that nothing has changed in our financial situation. And the hustle to get the refund back start .. we are being ghosted again.. Please run away, they will steal your money and ghost you! Worst company in the country, bunch of scammers and unethical people.

    I went with Amerisave for a purchase of a home. I will start with the sale was from my landlord to me so there was not realtors involved. My credit score is 801, I have zero debt and make plenty of money. I was working with Alex Martinez and his boss Justin Camacho. I will start with the processing part of the loan with processor Tony Ojoh. I was asked for more paperwork than I have WEVER been asked for when purchasing a home. Not to mention that I was asked over and over again for the same items., It was like nobody knew what the heck they were doing over there. They started the process on February 3rd and had until March 20th to close the deal. I will leave out the NUMEROUS REPETITIVE calls and emails for information that I received almost on the daily but I will tell you that I was finally told on March 15th that everything was approved and I was good to sign docs. As the week went along, I had not heard form anyone from Amerisave and on Friday morning (March 18th, 2 days before closing) the seller called me asking what was going on. She told me that she had spoken to the title officer and was told that no docs had been received and that she had not talked to anyone form Amerisave since February 18th. I called Alex and he told me that there was some "last minute requirement" by the mortgage insurance company that had to be fulfilled and they were trying to get it cleared. He then told me he would have his boss Justin call me and explain. Justin called asked for a couple more documents, which I sent over immediately, and the conditions would be cleared. He then called me and the title officer and told us that everything was good to go, that he would have docs over to her first thing Monday morning (the day after we were scheduled to close). Welllllll, here we are, it is 1:17pm I have emailed and called Alex with no response. I have called Justin and he sent me back a text reply, "Call u back," which I have not received. I then called title and she told me she has not heard a single thing since Friday, after being told the same thing that I was told. She also informed me that the sellers told her on Friday that if the deal did not close on Monday (today) that they were just going to list the house for sale. Luckily for me, I just sold another home and have enough cash to compete this purchase today. However, it ties up every bit of my savings for 6 month, until I can refi this house. Not to mention interest rates are climbing seemingly by the minute. So in a nut shell, AMERISAVE SCREWED ME big time. Promise after promise of, "you are our ideal borrower," "this loan is a piece of cake," "we will have no problem closing this by March 20th." My advice is to stay far away from this company unless you have enough money to fall back on and pay cash the house that you are tying to purchase.

    So very sorry I started with this mortgage company. Continuous emails that are automated asking for the same documents over and over again. Though my loan officer in the beginning was great - once I paid the $500 - communication has been minimal. They keep adding on to my closing costs for no apparent reason. This whole experience has been very frustrating.

    Nikki with Amerisave doesn’t communicate clearly or respond efficiently, and also doesn’t communicate well with others. The loan process was very delayed because she failed to do her job. Her coworkers had to pick up her slack and work extra because she couldn’t do her basic job. On the day before and day of closing she wouldn’t even answer her phone. Very dissatisfied, and disappointed with her inability to complete the very basic tasks of her job.

    I highly do not recommend this company for a mortage. The process is plain dumb compared to other mortage companies. I had to send them a pay stub every week for about 2 months and every day they were needing a single document at a time. Shortly after getting the mortage, our escrow balance is in a shortage because of poor appraisal. Payment went up almost 110$ This is by far the worst refinance I ever went through. If I could do it again i would go with a more reputable company or a local bank as I always have.

    Horrible just like everyone says. 500 dollar lock in then they just send you messages for paperwork no other lender seems to need over and over. They don't even look at it they just b.s. their way through till you leave you can spend weeks trying to get a hold of someone with no response. Changed mortgage companies and they did more in one day than amerisave did in a month. Never use them. Update they respond to contact them you get one response and its over again.. Horrible

    Loan was rushed through, paid $500.00 to cover the appraisal. Appraiser that came out was very arrogant and disrespectful. He only spent 30 minutes, which equates to $1,000.00 per hour. I complained about him, and I was told repeatedly to wait for the appraisal. The appraisal came in and he deducted 500 sqft from all previous appraisals including a VA appraisal I had when purchasing the house. I was told to fill out a form to dispute the appraisal. No...they have lotas of excuses about not picking the appraiser, well I didn't pick them, so I guess Amerisave is blameless. It's not worth it to me, to lose 500 sqft, so I canceled the loan and wrote off the $500.00 as another lesson in life. Don't make the same mistake.

The agent yelled at us and didn't give us a chance to talk once we told him we didn't like the loan disclosure we received.     I really didn't know how many stars to give. I think that paying $500 to get credit is basically a scam. During the time I waited on my approval and going back and forth with this company and all their requests... I literally had received 2 other pre-qualifications, and a mortgage loan commitment and then signed a purchase offer on a house while they were still asking me for ridiculous paperwork. I won't fall scam to this again...

    SCAM!!! I asked if I need to buy points in order to lock in a rate and I was told explicitly, NO. So I paid $500 to lock in a rate of 3.5%. Looking back, he would never confirm this in writing, he always called when I emailed him asking about it.... When I went to prepare to close on my house, I was told I needed to buy points in order to get a rate of 3.5%, which would cost me almost $10,000!!! This company is awful and must make a ton of money scamming people like this, I can't believe my bank supports this company.

    The lender was unable to provide their as low as rates, instead provided approximations when asked. I allowed them to run my credit to provide an accurate rate and the lender was deceitful, quoted me an extremely low rate and didn’t inform me he added an additional $13,000 to the back end in closing cost.

    If I could give zero stars I would. I started a refi with another company and somehow Amerisave got my information and they have called me at least 10 times a day everyday for the last 3 weeks. When I block one number they call from another number. Twice I have answered and said take me off your call list and they hang up on me then continue to keep calling. It is absolutely ridiculous!!

    Do not do business with amerisave, I should have read the reviews before hand. Was “ in processing for almost a month for no real reason hazel was the sr processor assigned to my loan she made it pretty clear from day one she was not going to assist in anyway asking me for documents that I have already sent on numerous occasions but she was just to lazy to look for them she refused to address me by my name for whatever reason, then finally made it to underwriting for not even a day and they came back with o u need repairs even though va appraisal came back no repairs neeeded this company is horrible stay far away

    Extremely inconsistent! I submitted for a pre approval on 3/19/2022. In the chat the rep requested to call my phone, but I let him know that I was working, so we set an appointment for 3/21/2022 at 4:30pm. He then calls my phone anyway, so I had to briefly remind him of our appointment set for Monday and that I was still at work. He had the worst attitude with me! So now Monday 3/21/2022 at my scheduled appointment time, I get no call or email from anyone in the company. He calls the next day in the AM and says that it was “someone else” that was handling my application. I let him know that I was working so he scheduled it for today 3/22/2022 at 5:00pm. Can you guess what happened next?? No phone call, email or text!! I finally call him at 6:30 pm and he lies to me. He says that there was a system wide blackout and makes no apologies. Not only did he lose me as a potential customer, but my sister as well. Wow. If there was a negative zero, then that’s what I would rate my experience with Amerisave.

    Terrible company. They required a $500 deposit to start the process. Created four different applications - three with the wrong address of the property being refinanced. Declined my application because I didn't live at the address they incorrectly put on the application. Moved to a better mortgage broker and got approval and funding in three weeks. Paid $500 for nothing but a bad experience.

    At first the service and response from our contact was timely them he started to ghost us as things were taking much longer than he assured us they would. Multiple times I would check in to make sure everything needed was received then around day 45 of the process our contact asked us for copy of DL and marriage certificate, if that was required it should have been communicated much further in advance when I was told multiple times he had everything needed but then the delay with title was because they did not have those documents. Finally we’re about to close and received funds from our cash out refi on day 51. I the paperwork was still wrong and they never updated the payoff amounts so now we have to wait for the old mortgage company to send us the roughly $2500 difference and then the payoff for a credit card we told them we would make the payment but the finally paperwork had it written they AmeriSave would complete the payoff with part of our cash back and instead of sending the money directly to the credit card company they mailed us a check made payable to the credit card company so we have to now deal with sending that in and waiting for processing as well as getting a refund since AmeriSave did not run an updated payoff at closing time almost 2 months from when the process started so they check for the credit card company is a few thousand more than the actual balance so we will have to get a refund from that as well. All in all it was a terrible process and I can honestly not say one good thing about working with AmeriSave and will defiantly not use or recommend in the future.

(thieves) Mitchell Chef my loan originator was a nightmare to work with. first thing they do is to collect 500 dollars deposit and promise to offset it against your closing cost,.. worst part, repeated auto generated msg requesting for same information.. I Wrote to them that i'm not interested anymore due to slow progress of my application and demanded a return of my deposit which they have since refused.. only to send me an adverse notice two months later ...funny part is another firm approved mortgage loan within a day given the same information.     Amerisave only secures you a loan. Then they pawn you off to a third party for your account and customer service. They actually contract some company to handle all this for them, and they are TERRIBLE. They purchased additional insurance for us because they said we weren't covered for something that we WERE covered for, because their insurance department can't interpret a declarations document. I've been trying to resolve it for months and it took my insurance agent calling and explaining the document to them over the phone. I've had phone calls where I was transferred to 4 different people. Their fax numbers don't work. They gave me a wrong direct number for a department. Make sure you get a lender that has good customer service reviews. My experience with this one has been awful and we've only had it for 6 months.

    We were much better off before we called AmeriSave. After all was said and done, our credit score was lowered because they pulled credit reports on my husband four times and pulled my report twice. We did pay $500 to "lock in" our rate but because of our nightmare experience, this was reimbursed. There was little, if any, communication by phone or email. They wasted our time and effort without telling us anything. I had to call a supervisor to find out what was actually happening with the loan. Eventually, I just went to my credit union, which I wish I would have done in the first place. These mortgage companies give you false hope and false information. As far as I'm concerned, they are all the same. No good!

    My experience with Amerisave and all parties involved was the absolute worst experience I’ve had as an agent with clients in 15 years. The transaction failed. It cost the clients thousands of dollars and lost time. There was a complete lack of clarity, communication, and customer service the entire time “working” with them. Several different loan originators and managers in different time zones all over the U.S. seemingly with no urgency…albeit apathy…to assist the clients and/or get to the closing table. They did not perform. I would never recommend them. I will never work with them or be affiliated with them under any circumstances ever again. The market is saturated with great lenders and loan originators who want to and will do a great job getting your home loan accomplished in a timely fashion. Whatever you do, please avoid this company at all costs. It only brought misery, anxiety, and frustration.

    Stay AWAY!! Nothing but frustration and broken promises during a Refinance process that started in September and was going to close in December. I rescinded the refinance because the NUMBERS were MUCH HIGHER including >$8000 in points!!! Which was NOT discussed originally. I received a phone call from the MANAGER who also expressed understanding of our FRUSTRATION and was going to try and help us or at least refund the $500 application fee but then never heard from him again. Don't waste your time!!!

    I'm really glad I came to read reviews before applying. They called me over and over and over. When I returned the call the guy was incredibly rude and condescending as if I wasn't smart enough to make my own decisions. That is NOT how you earn business. He basically told me unless I applied that I was useless in the housing market. I'd rather not have a hard credit check unless I'm 100%. Happy to learn this company should be avoided. How I was treated on the phone led me to further investigate. Train your employees better.

    I do live in a state where the Governor is a mortgage broker and mortgage company owner. I will be sharing the performance review just like others here with him in a detailed email. I have closed over 500 deals in my lifetime and have never gone through such a poor lending experience - no return calls to the agents, no return calls to the client. 48 hours in final underwriting. Asking for additional docs they already have been supplied just to stall out the process. They even told me the loan officer 'doesn't work there anymore, in the middle of my closing' - DO NOT WASTE A SINGLE SECOND OF YOUR LIFE HERE.

    I as well as others have had nothing but a horrific experience with AmeriSave. They ask for the same documents repeatedly. They ask for documents that are impossible to provide. They don't take the time to understand your loan. Some documents they ask for you are unable to upload due to errors in their system. Their communication is abysmal. They talk out of both sides of their mouths'. The they tried to collect 20 months of property tax for closing. I fully intend to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau about this companies questionable actions throughout my loan process. BTW, they vanished before closing and can't be reached. My closing attorney said he has never seen anything like it in his 30 years of experience... I am updating my review as someone from Senior Management reached out to me and apologized. He said the person we were working with was no longer with the company... He gave me the option of saving the loan or parting ways. I had already restarted my loan with another company and chose to continue in that direction. He was considerate and understanding.

    I began an effort to refinance through Amerisave in October of 2021. I provided everything that was asked of me initially, including the $500 non-refundable fee. Shortly thereafter, my loan officer began demanding more & more information from me, a sizeable amount of which was inapplicable to the situation. Phone calls & emails went unanswered, voicemails unreturned, yet the situation never improved. I was eventually contacted by a random agent there who actually attempted to assist me, but was unlicensed, so she couldn't really do much besides send intracompany emails to other departments. As soon as I believed we were actually getting somewhere, they demanded yet another random piece of useless, inappropriate, information that would require getting my employer directly involved! Crazy thing is, I didn't have this much trouble buying the house in the first place & have never missed any payments, of any type, EVER! Simply trying to make some home improvements cost me nothing but frustration, a ding to my credit, & $500. Please stay far away from this company - zero customer service & zero care for the customers involved

    What an absolute disappointment these people are. They praise you for you military service and then after they get your $500.00 deposit they never call you back. They asked for financial info multiple times and I was always timely with my records. Then one day out of nowhere they say sorry we’re not going to fund this loan. I asked why. They said I was late on a mortgage payment in October 2020. I proved that I wasn’t late through my mortgage records and they said they would reinstate the loan process. That was almost 7 weeks ago and not one communication from them whether or not my loan will or will not be funded. I won’t recommend their services especially to Veterans. Can I just get my money back and I’ll remove this

    The pre approval process was quick and easy. My loan officer was great, and my loan processor was very communicative. I submitted all requested documents within an hour and had had a closing disclosure sent to me. After that day my exprince has been downhill. I began reciving emails requesting documents that I had already submited. One particular item they asked me for a total of 3 seperate times (I provided the document each time within an hour after it was requested). Two days prior to my closing, I asked my loan processor if we would be good to close, and she tells me yes. Then I get an task on my portal requesting a document I had already submitted. I submit the document within miniutes of the request and am told that it may push my closing date back. The day before my closing come and I reach out to my loan processor to ensure we are good to close. I am told we should be and that she will reach out to schedule my closing....and that is the last hear from anyone. We are now a day past my closing and I can not get anyone on the phone or to respond to my email. What started out as a postive experince has now turned into a nightmare. I am out money, my credit has taken a hit, and no one will return my calls or emails. This is not how any customer should be treated.

    I started with AmeriSave to refinance house. Started 09/16/2020 went through four loan manager people. Would get one lone manager then that person would disappear and not return calls. repeatedly this happened. this went on until 7 months later. Then they dropped my loan application. said someone in their company screwed up and closed my file. Then got it going again and within one month they said the underwriters would no longer fund the loan and I had to literally start all over with a new application and of course at a higher rate.     I am reporting this sketchy company. They got a hold of my contact info somehow, and call me several times per day. I did not need a mortgage from them...but now I am sure they are not a real or competent business, or they would have quit calling me like crazy people after I politely asked them not to bother me anymore. Happy to recommend another mortgage company, however....anyone else. ANYONE!!!

    Probably the worst lender I have yet to deal with. The communication has been terrible, to say the least. I paid for an appraisal that is yet to be completed. I have had two Loan Reps that, by the way, they don't work at Amerisave anymore, and so the third one tells me that I can't get a refund for services not rendered. I guess I just paid for a service that they feel they don't have to provide. I was expecting a copy of the appraisal, but can't get that because it was cancelled after the Loan Reps that we were working with are no longer employed there. As US Army Veterans, my wife and I are both retired and have 43 years of military service between the two of us, and I just don't expect to be treated this way. I really hate being taken advantage of. However, I am firm believer that when you do wrong by people, it'll come back to you at some point. If I could post this WITHOUT A STAR RATING, Amerisave would be a -5 stars

    Worst loan experience I've ever had. Customer service is awful. They wouldn't pay my existing homeowners policy and then charged me more for they're replacement. i wish I'd never done business with these people. Strongly recommend you go somewhere else.

    I refinanced multiple times with AmeriSave, recently i am trying to get HELOC with other lender, found that there is a open lien on my property from 7 years ago. payedOff , which is clearly showing "as nominee for Amerisave Mortgage Corporation, Alexander Title Agency, Incorporated as Trustee, in the amount of ... and dated ...." BUT they are NOT owning issue Its a nightmare to work with......i regret like "why did i go with AmeriSave"...... please stay away with this.. i hope google will provide Zero stars for review

    Please please do not take a mortgage with AmeriSave. The rates seem to be low but there are so many catches. My refinance closed on Jan 15th and on Jan 25 I got a email saying it is being transferred to DOVENMUEHLE, which has a 1 start rating and is known to be absolutely horrible. I asked if I could send back the money and they said no. They waited until right after the deadline to send the money backtrack notify me and of the transfer because they knew I would cancel if I knew. This company is a scam and just a cover to ensure the mortgage companies that can’t business on their own still received business. Please learn from my mistake and do not do business with this company. Please note I haven’t even talked about my refinance process which was horrible because when I read the reviews others had similar experiences. I wanted to make sure everyone knew of this part as well.

    Extremely inconsistent! I submitted for a pre approval on 3/19/2022. In the chat the rep requested to call my phone, but I let him know that I was working, so we set an appointment for 3/21/2022 at 4:30pm. He then calls my phone anyway, so I had to briefly remind him of our appointment set for Monday and that I was still at work. He had the worst attitude with me! So now Monday 3/21/2022 at my scheduled appointment time, I get no call or email from anyone in the company. He calls the next day in the AM and says that it was “someone else” that was handling my application. I let him know that I was working so he scheduled it for today 3/22/2022 at 5:00pm. Can you guess what happened next?? No phone call, email or text!! I finally call him at 6:30 pm and he lies to me. He says that there was a system wide blackout and makes no apologies. Not only did he lose me as a potential customer, but my sister as well. Wow. If there was a negative zero, then that’s what I would rate my experience with Amerisave.

    This company is absolutely terrible. They take your info from the credit bureau then SPAM call you nonstop, never leaving a message. I’ve received 3-4 calls a day harassing me. Do you really want to support a company who uses extended warranty robo/telemarketing tactics having never sought a loan from them after taking your private information?? HELL NO!!!! I would give them 0 stars if I could!!

    Three reasons I’d advise against working with AmeriSave. 1. Lying: at the beginning of the process I was a 1099 employee but was assured multiple times that would be okay. After three months of paper work, I found out they had lied and the whole thing nearly fell apart. Thankfully my company converted us to W2s so we were able to finish the deal and not have months of work go to waste. 2. Bad communication: they don’t reply to emails. I spent days(sometimes a full week) where I would hear nothing back. They just do not reply to emails or help with your questions. If you can ever get them on the phone they are incredibly nice and intelligent but good luck. It’s difficult. 3. Platform uploads: the platform you upload documents to frequently doesn’t work and the pain it takes to get them paperwork is very aggravating.

    If I could leave zero stars I would. We started the refinancing process in January, and were supposed to close today. After resending paperwork over and over, we should have just walked away but we started using it as a race just to see how long it would take. They sent us a 3rd discloser yesterday that was NOTHING we had agreed to! There are numerous complaints on the BBB about this company. I believe any good reviews come from employees and friends. They also did 8 hard credit checks on us! 8!!!! Many complain they do this to tank your credit so you do go with them since you are locked in. Several complained that their house payments went way up after closing too, which means they have people writing policies that have no idea what they are doing! The person I spoke to when we started this process seemed so helpful that we went with AmeriSave. Normally we would have gone with our bank. We will have to get our credit score back up and go through our bank now and not pay $500 up front (scam)! Also please spare me the please contact us response! You fooled me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! Plus you have all of the customer's info based on the name above. If you were a decent company you would reach out! Lessoned learned, please do not fall for this shady company!!!!

    Just a horrible experience trying to refinance my home. After already emailing their customer support vs posting a bad review I was contacted by Roger who advised me he would get me to closing by July 12th and he would provide 48 hour updates. Neither of which ever happened. Roger gave me numbers over the phone and when I asked for updated disclosures with these new numbers it was never provided. When Michael my original originator contacted me after 2 weeks of silence he advised if I just upload one more thing they would update the disclosures. Every day they ask for one more thing. It seems they would just streamline the process and ask for all the paperwork upfront. But no, they like to drag it out and waste time and make false promises they can close in 30 days. Now I've wasted 500 dollars and a month of my life. Also conveniently enough the appraisal came in at exactly the right number to make origination charges go up by $2000 and when asked about this Michael said he wasn't sure and would get back to me, but never did.. I went with Amerisave ignoring the bad reviews and I highly regret my decision, please don't waste your time or money, find a different lender.

    I refinanced my home through AmeriSave that closed in May 2021. Blake Callahan helped walk through the loan application and it was seamless other that some processing related issues( I would think they are somewhat normal in complex closings). Most importantly- Blake is honest, upfront and very trustworthy. Blake admits to an error without hiding and it is not only relevant but important for a borrower. I was able to secure a very competitive rate with zero points. So thank you Blake and your services are appreciated.

    DO NOT USE AMERISAVE!! Would give zero stars if possible. Called amerisave to get a quote for a mortgage refi. I was told by the representative Kamron that I would need to give a fee of $495 that was totally refundable. He never mentioned anything about it being binding or giving them a chance to meet or beat other offers. I asked twice just to make sure. I gave my credit card number to him thinking it was no commitment. After my current lender beat their offer I decided to stay with my current lender as they would not sell the loan after closing. When I called Kamron to tell him of the situation he never mentioned me not getting my money back. I expected a refund to my card within a week. When the week was over I called Kamron and he told me that since we didn’t use amerisave they are keeping my $495!!! They did basically nothing but give me a quote, which most companies do for free!!! I called Kamron 3 times in regard to my refund and was told he needed to speak to his supervisor. No action was taken. All emails sent we never replied to. AMERISAVE ARE THIEVES!! Use any other company for your mortgage or refi. **** the day after this review was posted. Amerisave reached out to me immediately to discuss my negative review. After speaking with “Jacob” I was told they would refund the $495. It was refunded within a week.

    I am giving Amerisave 3 stars because of the inconsistency on the processing part. I was looking for a lender to buy my house and found Amerisave, filling out the app was easy, received a call right away from my Loan originator who was great, excellent customer service (Dominique), uploading documents was great, easy, however when it got to the Underwriting team it was a nightmare, I had to resent the same stipulations several times until the day of closing, they barely talked to my realtor which is uncommon. When I called the main number, they always promised to call back and never did. The day of closing it was uncertain if I was going to close or not, until my Loan originator help me out and went above and beyond to make it happen. I can say getting approved super fast and painless, closing not so much.

    Amerisave was the worst experience ever. My mom tried to refinance in April and the process was still not complete by August. We stopped the process due to their incompetence. First, they charged a $500 upfront fee to begin the process, which was a red flag. The underwriter was reassigned every month which meant starting over from scratch. I actually work in Finance and realized the line of questioning indicated the amount of inexperience we were working with. Interestingly enough, we switched to Loan Depot and my mom was able to close within 30 days in a seamless process. Amerisave really needs to work on hiring experienced employees or enhancing their training program.

    What a complete S#iT show! This place doesn't deserve 1 star! They are quick to reel you in to apply, but while the application is pending, the underwriters keep asking for the same forms over and over again. The loan originator does not return phone calls and emails. When you email their customer service department, they don't respond either. Do yourself a favor, use someone else. BUYER BEWARE! (You'll see that their response is canned - When you email their customer service department, they don't reply back.)

    Worst experience so far. I submitted my documents 6 weeks ago and have heard nothing from the company except to tell me they are still reviewing my application and the hold up is my student loans even though I submitted documents showing I’m on an income based repayment plan and was assured they shouldn’t be a problem or I would receive the money back for my appraisal. I have not heard from my loan processor in 2 weeks. They are screwing around but had no issues taking my deposit for the appraisal. It was quicker to buy my house than to refinance it. So disappointed in myself in not researching this company more before working with them to refinance. Do not use them unless you want to be screwed over.

    My husband and I have been working on our refinance since January, providing all necessary documents. Our loan originator, Eric Freistat was great in the beginning and answered our calls, responded to emails but that didn’t last long. He did NOT follow through on our loan process and while we were more than willing to work through making this process smooth for all parties, he was not making himself available to provide service. I am extremely disappointed and recommend finding another company to give your business to.

    I applied with a separate company on 10/13/21. From 10/14/21 forward, I have received calls every day multiple times per day from Amerisave Mortgage which is not the company I am working with and Amerisave Mortgage refuses to stop calling. I have told them every day that I want to be removed from their list and they continue to call the next day. This harassment is both unprofessional and illegal. I have blocked their number and they call from a different number. I have never inquired with them and they have never disclosed specifically how they received my information. I just want the harassing calls to stop. I had to submit a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to get them to stop calling. The website for them is consumerfinance.gov and I strongly recommend that everyone experiencing their negative and illegal actions do the same. It takes about 5 minutes to fill out the form online for the complaint.

    Customer service is beyond awful. I had filled out their application online and reached a point where I had an agent call me and he starts the conversation in the worst mood and comes forward very aggressively. Then when I tried to expand on my situation after he had asked a question he sighed heavily and hung up the call because I had stated that I was looking to get pre-qualified for a mortgage. Even though I thought I made it so much easier by having all my information I guess this man just wasn't in the mood. When I took too long to answer something he'd repeat what he said two or three times. He'd sigh heavily when I was speaking or completely speak over me. I don't know what his issue was or if he was having a bad day but it was extremely unprofessional. His name was Brett or maybe Brent; he sounds younger and absolutely miserable. Almost ruined my whole morning but right after he hung up on me I got a call from a better mortgage lender. I'm pretty upset I couldn't get past this stage with the company but based on the previous reviews of people's experiences- maybe it's a gift from God.

    Looked into refinancing and was given a higher interest rate than what we wanted. A "senior loan officer" called several days later wanting to know if we were interested. I explained that the interest rate was not acceptable and that we decided to look elsewhere. She became very hostile and after I again explained she hung up on me. I would never go back to Amerisave after this kind of treatment.

    STAY AWAY!! Worst experience ever. Upon first contact to refi my mortgage I gave my loan officer, Rebecca Bischoff, my work desk phone number due to being at work and my work building having horrible cell phone reception. After giving my loan officer this particular number my work phone began to blow up a solid week with 8/9 telemarketer calls a day, in the 7 years of being assigned this desk phone number by my company I have never received 1 telemarketer call until Rebecca got ahold of it. After sending Rebecca an email stating I did not appreciate her and Amerisave selling off my information I received a nasty email back from her stating "they are sold my information, they do not sell my information". I then contacted Amerisave Customer Service asking for Rebecca's supervisor and explaining my situation. I was told by Amerisave Customer Service that I would be contacted by the head manager of Customer Service and Rebecca's supervisor, to this day I have not heard from neither one. Amazingly, once I spoke up about all the telemarketer calls the calls came to a complete stop, yet Rebecca stated they do not sell my information off, well apparently so. Regrettably, I moved forward with my loan and specifically told my Processor, Curtis Sanders, I did not want escrow included in my loan. Curtis's response back was I could only opt out of one, either my homeowners insurance or taxes, but not both. I informed Curtis I would opt out of property taxes in my escrow and only my homeowners insurance should be included in my escrow to which he confirmed my request. Now the loan is closed and as you guessed it my escrow contains both my homeowners insurance and property taxes. This lender is the biggest pool of incompetent people I have ever met in my life. To Rebecca and Curtis, you get back what you put out there, the Universe has a way of balancing the playing field so good luck. To all future customers looking to Refi or purchase, STAY AWAY FROM AMERISAVE, there is a reason numerous negative reviews are posted about this lender.

    Horrible company, if I could give 0 stars I would....we went through the process and they told me the refinance numbers, they told me to pay 750 dollars for a appraisal and soon as I paid for that they changed all the numbers and said refinance would only save me 100 bucks when at first they told me 600..so I been calling and emailing and they have been avoiding everything..the guy name was SHELDON PALMER..BE AWARE..

    If you want to get ghosted by your loan officer in the middle of trying to lock in your rate then AmeriSave is the lender for you. I even tried reaching out to customer service to have my application moved to another officer and they apparently cannot do that. It has been over 2 weeks and I still have heard nothing back. Never experienced such lousy customer service when they would be the ones benefitting from my home loan.. Guess I'll pay someone else the interest every month for the next 30 years.

    Roberto has been very professional, friendly, and courteous. He kept me informed of every step of my loan application and closing schedule. It has been very easy and pleasant to work with him on my mortgage loan process. I do have one comment about taking almost 2 months for the end-to-end process of my loan application. It is much longer than my past experiences in refinancing. But that may just be due to the holiday season.

    To say that the people working here are incompetent is an understatement. Terrible phone connection, slow processing speed, repeatedly asking for the same documents, poor communication, unorganized.... etc I could honestly go on forever. My refinancing process dragged on for more than 6 MONTHS before I cancelled. I would say that I paid the 500 dollar fee just so I don't have to talk to these people anymore. Addendum*** I emailed customer service my loan number and my cellphone number. 2 months later, not a word. Classic move. Take my advice, you can roll the dice, spend $500 and hope for results or find an actual good company.... sigh

    Man, do I wish I’d read the reviews. This company is the absolute worst. After 8 weeks and countless documents sent they locked me out of the client website then continued to request more documents. They knew I’d be traveling out of country because of my job and we were supposed to close before I had to leave. I finally had to have my mother call them from in-States to see what was going on. They stated my file had been closed due to me leaving the country even though I had a POA for the closing. Two weeks later I finally get an email stating my file was rejected. The lack of professionalism is off the charts. Please look elsewhere. Do not try to use this company.

    HORRIBLE!!!!!! The worst experience I've ever encountered when it comes to a major purchase/home refinance. Things were going great at the beginning, but each day/week there were numerous requests for information, which I was happy to provide. There were several long periods where the loan originator would go quiet and I couldn't get any feedback as to where things stood. I ultimately had to contact customer service; the gentleman was helpful, but again things went quiet and back to a pattern of no feedback. I started the process on April the 8th, only to be told towards the end of July that the only option was to go to a 30 year mortgage (I only have 14 years remaining on my current; why in the world would I even consider that?) This felt like a "bait and switch" deal. STAY AWAY FROM AMERISAVE. I wish I would have read more reports on this company. There are more attentive and more customer-centric mortgage lenders out there. Do your homework; read the reviews, but this has to be the worst experience!!!

    AmeriSave offered me a number of different options for my re-finance, all at rates substantially lower than I would have obtained at a local bank. I was a little hesitant at first, as I had never accomplished such a large financial transaction totally digitally. I found I had nothing to worry about! The professional and responsive service provided by both my originator and my loan processor were just outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

    Wow. What a nightmare. 8 months to close, if you are buying a new house, find someone else. Bullet points: - Attempting to collect an extra payment above the agreed loan amount after they sold the loan to a servicer. - 8 Months from loan initiation to close. - Cancelled my loan out after 6 months of hounding them to get their work done because they lost all of my documents. - Repeated delays month after month causing me to have to resubmit documents every month. - After reinstating my application, several scheduled signing dates where they simply did not send the documents to the title company. - Impossible to get a hold of anyone through the process, have to call 5-10 times before being able to reach anyone. Bad enough through the loan process, but even worse on signing days (with an s since they could not manage the insurmountable task of sending the loan documents to the title company, multiple times) when the title company has still not received documents an hour before signing. - They will not lock your rate until the very last minute, they will tell you that it will lock after you pay the 500 dollar up front deposit but this is a lie. They do this so you can't shop their rate, but you end up stuck with them without any guarantee that they will honor their rate, very nerve racking as rates fluctuate and you can't reach anyone to keep your loan moving along. If you are considering refinancing with Amerisave, be prepared to hound them to get them to take care of your loan. I'm not the kind of person that frequently calls to check on statuses, but after 3 months and no movement, it became necessary. If you are planning on using Amerisave to buy a home, find someone else. They will not have your loan ready in time. The only bright side is that I did get a very good rate, but it was barely better than some of the other mortgage companies. If I had known it would be so much trouble, I would have just gone with a different company. The amount of time wasted with these people was not worth it. Now they are attempting to collect an extra payment after selling the loan. Mistakes happen, fine, but when you try to call them to clear it up, you can't even get them to pick up.

    I was working with another lender and loan officer (home inspection and financials completed) when I was contacted by Mr. Ian Bilbrey, AmeriSave. Since the loan officer I was working with did not return my calls, I was frustrated but satisfied. Although, Ian could not give me a better rate, he was able to reduce the loan costs and he answered every call and concern. Even after market costs went up, Ian worked with his management team to satisfy our commitment. "If you are looking for an honest loan officer who works for you, Ian is that guy!"

    I completed a cash out refinance with Amerisave and although some of the fees were more than I wanted to pay their ability to quote me fair numbers with a good rate was consistent. I contacted multiple lenders and many of them were slow and not very eager to help. I was happy with the overall level of service but I was becoming impatient having to wait for final approval. Once I asked other lenders how the process takes I realized AmeriSave was similar with timeliness.

    I should have listened to the other reviews. I will give you some of my information to help you make a better decision then I did. I have well over 750 CS, one personal loan out, and gross income of over half of what the house I am trying to buy costs. It started with the "Lock and Shop" and $500. I specifically asked if paying the $500 would lock in the 2.99 interest rate and they replied yes. When I found a house and they sent me loan disclosures it had 3.25%. They basically explained since I didn't have a house picked yet that's why the rate increased. So the "Lock and Shop" is a SCAM. They also mentioned that through them closing is possible in 15 days. That is not happening, and highly doubt it ever would. They request documentation that doesn't exist. (Sold tractor and want copy of title transfer. Most tractors do NOT have titles. Tried to show where money came from to buy the tractor in the first place from 401k. Apparently that wasn't good enough either.). Overall communication I would rate at a 2.5. Basically, I thought maybe the low star reviews was just people applying and didn't meet basic qualification. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!

    Rob was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process. He made sure that our loan stayed on track and was able to close within 30 days. He explained everything clearly and set reasonable expectations from the start. I cannot think of another loan officer that I would want to work with more than Rob in the future for all of my real estate needs.

    This is the worst mortgage company out there. DO NOT call them and start the process!!! They have the worst customer services and their mortgage processors have no clue what they are doing. They are quick to get your $500 dollars and then they go radio silent, don't return calls and will even hang up on you. When processing my loan, they requested the same documents a thousand times and honestly I was concerned with the security of their data and content management procedures. They had no clue as to what documents are needed for specific employment status. (1099 vs w2) and asked a thousand different documents that were not needed. I escalated the issues and nothing was done about it. The closing cost continued to go higher than originally quoted. The loan processor was extremely rude and said that my CPA firm didn't know what they were talking about. They required a home inspection and then said I needed to replace my windows when only the sash needed repaired. After calling them and telling them that I was canceling my loan, only did I get a supervisor to call me back. After three months later, they finally set my closing and 1 month later they sold my mortgage to another large mortgage group. Now I get constant calls from them and they won't stop calling me to sell me mortgage death insurance. I get 4 or 5 letters in the mail each week doing the same thing. If you call the number - their systems doesn't recognize their own code. My recommendation- stay far far away from this group.

    I tried to refinance my Mortgage at 2.5% and they said they would close in 15 to 30 days. They said I would have no problem getting approved right away. I gave them all the docs they wanted then they tried to change the terms they promised. When I told them I didn't want a longer term they refused to give me my $500 deposit back as promised. Finally after calling customer service and sending emails from them saying I would get my $500 back, they refund my deposit. Seems like they just want to collect the $500 fee to start loan process in hope you don't look for it back. Also they had me put them on my insurance before the loan approval now I have to take them off and change the billing back.

    This is our third time using Amerisave. They have come along very far. The whole process from a very first call to the closing took less than 3 weeks. Uploading documents, communication, etc were very smooth. I was very impressed. We worked with Emily Roby, Loan Originator. She did a superb job on getting us the rates and points we wanted.     What a nightmare! They require a $500 payment up front, non refundable, before they will provide any information. Once approved, the loan originator and the processor refuse to work together. I have to be the middle man for every single interaction. I have to contact their managers in order to get any updates from them. I have had to upload all of my documentation multiple times before they acknowledge it, even though I can see it completed on my end. They asked me to link my bank accounts but still require me to take off of work and drive to my local branch, have them print off a statement mid-month, scan it into my phone, email it to my computer, and manually upload it into their portal. They changed the terms of my loan and increased my down payment by $20,000 without so much as a phone call. Avoid this company at all costs.

    Worst Mortgage company to consider. When it comes to your largest investment this is not the company you want. I recently just resigned from Amerisave after being forced to call clients on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"every single day. This company calls clients from a Scam phone number everyday. This Company does try so hard to steal Rocket mortgage clients amongst other lenders. High chance this company keeps your loan in process without closing. They'll also ask for your appraisal fee knowing they cannot close your loan. I will not even wish my worst enemy to work with Amerisave mortgage. Also late on paychecks which also broke the ice for me. Being late on paychecks I'll never trust you with my mortgage.

    We had high hopes for this company on refinancing our house . We spent several weeks gathering information that they needed . Each day they would need different information, which drug things out longer. Mind you we had to pay $500 to start this process. When it came time to do our appraisal they decided we were not qualified based on our taxes the last few years, this all should of been decided in the beginning not several weeks later of wasted time .     We did a mortgage refi with cash out in November. We started paying in January- sent a check, it cleared, no problem. Same thing in February. Now in March, I am suddenly notified that they did not receive my payment, even though my bank shows that it was mailed. Ridiculous wait times just to talk to someone, and they refused to admit ANY fault in the problem. Apparently I was using the wrong address, although I used the one I was given when we closed, and the first check was cashed. Wasted more than an hour of my day untangling THEIR problem. DO NOT recommend.

    Extremely poor experience through loan process and after when just making payments. I declined to use amerisave for escrow of property taxes or insurance. Amerisave withheld that $ anyway. I provided proof of insurance to them and they promised to stop charging me escrow. They did not. They put my account to collections. I called them for 3 months and still they haven't fixed the paperwork. I've been paying my monthly payment on time throughout the process. Each department i talk to bumps me to to another department. I wait on hold to speak to anyone for at least 50 minutes then get put on hold again. There is no way out it seems from this vicious circle. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use this company unless you want a def con 5 level of frustration.

    Usually I just give 4-5 stars when I am asked for a review. If I need to give less I just abstain. In this case however, I have never worked with a more disorganized system such as AmeriSave mortgage Corporation .. I understand that the staff actually doing the work are only trying to do their job and I am not at all upset with them. Every week one person sends me to another ..pass the buck sort of situation. The continuous belligerent requests and nonproductive paperwork that keeps spontaneously being requested repetitively and in a non-structured and disorganized manner, over months, only underlines the company's inability to work with complex credit. I can not but wonder at their dysfunctional lethargy and lack of common sense. Regardless, I urge all to consider every other company before utilizing this company. They will call you and email daily to give you updates, but no progress .. just a void and more requests for something they forgot to mention. Take heed

    I was in the process of looking into a refi and was working with Joseph Kevlin. Initially he was very friendly and nice however, very pushy about having me qualify on my own. The rates I was told kept changing in the contract and hidden fees for points were being added. I expressed I never agreed to points and he never disclosed them. It was 7k added. When I told him I no longer wanted to proceed he started to threaten me and make personal attacks about my situation. Putting me down for having modified the loan during covid and having a court order with an ex to remove him from my loan. I do not recommend or suggest working with him. If the company allows employees to speak to customers in this manner and condone his behavior, I would seek assistance elsewhere. I hope management reviews the call being that they are recorded and this employee is repremanded. It is unacceptable and no one should speak to anyone in this manner. It's verbal and emotional abuse. Update: it is June 8 and I have not heard back. I was told a manager would be getting back to me.

    Disappointing and unprofessional! Solar installed Feb. and till this date it is not operational. I now have a new solar bill (without service) and an electrical power bill from our county. Someone dropped the ball and has left us abandoned and our problem unanswered for. It all started after my loan servicer quit Amerisave soon after the installation of our panels. Amerisave failed to assign anyone to assist me with the rest of the process, getting the power transferred and working and updating us on the inspection process. I temporary gained access to Kristina Zingg whom my previous loan officer suggested would handle our file for us. I quickly realized she was not particularly vested in helping us since I can't seem to reach her and she has not replied to my emails. I have tried for many weeks to contact a supervisor or manager and all I get are voice mails and agents passing on messages for calls that are never returned. Steer clear of this company they are unreliable and uninterested after papers are signed. The only good experience I had of customer care was our agent who quit. They just want your money.

    Worst and Waste of time I wish this lender has some competent professionals that could take care of customer needs. The loan officer does not seems to know how to run numbers to provide a loan estimate properly. I spent almost 3 weeks with this lender and submitted all the requested documents and come to end telling me that I cannot close because my DSCR is too low. What they don't know is that for rental investment property that generates income, the burrow's personal income is not necessary as long as the property could cover all its debt. If this was a purchase, I would have lost the deal. Thank God, it was a refinance. Don't waste your time with this lender if you are an investor or a borrower who wish to get to closing.

    Absolutely terrible. Avoid. There was so much redundancy in the application process, they asked for the same documents over and over again. We were pre-approved with excellent credit and a strong down payment, provided them with everything they asked for multiple times, only to be told days before closing that the property we were buying did not qualify for financing from them. Mind you, we had already completed every task they required, supplied all of the information they requested, only for them to back out days before closing. We nearly lost out on the property because of their disorganization and needlessly prolonged financing process. If there was a problem with the property we were buying, we should have been told that upfront, not at the 11th hour after they had received all of the necessary documentation weeks before. Do not waste your time with this awful lender. Luckily we were able to find another one and quickly sailed right through their approval process with no problem at all.

    Eddie Diri told me whatever I wanted to hear to get me to pay the deposit. Once we were in the process, several major sticking points that I had discussed prior to paying the deposit were completely different than I he had said. Rather it was intentional or not, I was mislead to pay them $500 for nothing. Seems consistent with other comments on here. I would not recommend this company.

    Please don’t fall for the fake positive reviews as this company is terrible to work with. Check their BBB reviews. I wish I had and I wouldn’t have been through the most aggravating application process ever. They stole our $500 application fee. I was to lazy to check their reviews. We were declined for a refi even though they originated the loan. The link had been sold in the secondary market so they no longer are the lender. But we paid on time for four years, make 25% more money than at purchase, upped our combined credit roughly 10% to 795 and 780 and the house appraised for $163k more than we paid. Notice how every positive review is the same format listing the reps name and that they were skeptical at first because of the reviews. And a large majority have 1-2 total reviews. They have a bad reputation for terrible communication after they take your $500. They asked for the same documents repeatedly. They can’t understand a schedule-k tax return. Our accountant literally laughed at their requests and their interpretation of of the schedule-k. I just hope you find this before you hand over $500 and wait 6 weeks with poor communication and then get taken. Update: if you are getting a refi then see if they are affiliated with your current loan servicer. The are associated with NewRez who is our current servicer. No wonder they denied a mortgage that would have saved us over $100k. This is extremely unethical based on conflicting interests.

    After reading the reviews on here I was very hesitant to apply with Amerisave. After having Colin Yager and Bob Holmberg be assigned to my loan, all of those worries went away! If you apply with Amerisave, and are worried about the reviews, ask to have Colin and Bob assigned to your loan. They are awesome to work with! Emails, calls, and all my questions were answered very quickly and accurately. Colin even went above and beyond when underwriting was asking for documentation from a car loan that was closed 4 years prior to applying and for some reason was still showing on my credit and underwriting kept asking for documentation. He gave me a step by step process and then ended up going to underwriting and taking care of it for me when I couldn't get Capitol One to send me exactly what they needed.     While the loan originating process a couple of years ago went relatively smoothly, don't expect good customer service after you expect the loan. The mortgage interest statements never come on a timely basis. Your calls will be routed all over the place to people who could care less about you or your needs. I would never refinance with AmeriSave again!

    Military Veteran being put through total hell after being approved for a loan, suddenly an underwriter is refusing all kinds of documents. Putting the Veteran in full panic. Her date for closing has been moved twice. Her entire housing future is in jeopardy. Horrible company, the VA should pull their ability to do VA loans as they are terrible for the mental and emotional well-being of veterans! Saw Amerisave respond and emailed already. Also am now speaking with the VA. This is unacceptable! Processor Daniel again jacked up how much is needed at closing. Underwriter refuses to allow a paycheck that was deposited into a the checking account to be used as an asset! Total scam After completing a call with Equifax and a car loan to verify payments, underwriter still refuses to accept the information is accurate. Reported to the VA, this will now be investigated and most likely make it so the VA will no longer allow Amerisave to service VA loans. NO veteran should ever be treated like this.

    This place is a joke. I have never requested anything from these people and I have received 62 phone calls over the last 7 days. I have told them I haven't applied for anything. Requested they stop calling, have hung up on them and the still call. This is harassment. Please do not consider doing any type of business with these people. They keep calling using different phone numbers so blocking them doesn't work. I'm consulting an attorney to see what to do.

    First off Kyra is amazing from the start of the application to now! I only took a star off because in the beginning I was working with a loan officer to purchase our home. She randomly was taken off of our case but we were assigned to someone else. Natosha and Kyra have been amazing since then! In the beginning we were locked in for our interest rate! My credit is not the greatest and fortunately not as bad as so many people have. We set our closing date for a month since we didn't have a time frame due to us buying the home we are currently living in. I stayed logged into the portal to upload documents as soon as they were asked for. I was getting a little frustrated that we kept getting asked for more and more statements and proof of income when I had already turned it in but I didn't complain. I did ask why our cash to close kept changing and she said they can't give a definite amount since it all depends on what the title company (or in GA real estate attorney who does closing) comes up with. I was ok with this because at least I knew they had signed off on my assets so I knew we had enough to cover however much it was in our bank. I can officially say (2 months later) we are closing on Monday and we couldn't be happier. I hope not everyone has had a bad experience. It just takes patience and consistency on your end to get through the process. These processes take time and you can't give up because it's not going as quick as you want it to.

    We used Ameri Save for a refinance. Cinthia was our agent and she was fantastic. Applied on a Friday afternoon and we closed one day shy of 2 weeks later. We did the entire application on the phone and I emailed all of the required documents. Appraisal done 3 days after application. Cinthia communicated constantly on the process. Closing took place at my house at a time that was good for me. It was fast and easy!

    Pretty upset that they charged me $500 for a pre-approval when most companies do it free of charge. I’ve asked for a refund and they told me they’d get back to me and never have. It might not seem like a lot to them but as a soon to be new home-owner it goes a long way. I encourage others to find another lender as it seems they are only money focused.

    The representative, Arianna Roquemore, said that I was pre-qualified and I needed to pay $500 for the application process to complete my loan. Once I paid the $500.. I was denied with the reason being that I didn't make enough money. I'm a single hard working mother of three girls just trying to get a home for my children. You would think that that reason alone would be enough to refund my $500 after I was lied to, but I cannot get the representative to answer my emails now. That is a lot of money for someone in my situation and I feel like I was scammed BIG TIME! I really regret trying.. and I feel so stupid.

The agent Dajuan Saunders was real good at his song and dance and telling me how great this regi was gonna be for me etc. And All I had to do was come up with $545 for them to get started, and I would be sure to get that money back in 2 to 4 weeks.     Called on 4-4-2022 and started process for a refinance. Closed on 5-2-2022. There were only a couple times where documents had to be redone. Very pleased with the process. The only delay was the appraisal, that due to so many homes being sold recently. This is the second time I have used Amerisave and am very pleased.

    This company has no respect or boundaries. I am in the process of buying/selling and am working with a different company. I have NEVER worked with Amerisave, yet they've called me multiple times a day. They called me three times in ONE HOUR today. After the 2nd call, I blocked the number. Instead of taking the hint, they called again from a different number. When I finally picked up their spam call and asked for them to please stop calling me, the worker was condescending and hung up on me. I have now clue if he actually took me off the list as he hung up before confirming. So here's hoping these people leave me alone. If they are this unprofessional with people who arent even their clients, I can't imagine how horrible they are when you have to interact with them.

    I worked with them from 4 Feb 2022 until I had to change companies due to incompetence. The first issue was they put the Sellers Home address which was different from the property being purchased. There were several other issues they transferred an incomplete appraisal on the day I was supposed to have closed April 8th 2022 after forcing the new company to pay. On top of that it was an incomplete appraisal. I have been sitting with a 26’ UHAUL in my driveway since April 6th. I am in a rental house and have to be out tomorrow with no place to go. AmerisaSave cancelled the FHA Case # before I could even send the request that they asked for to transfer it, then they told my new company that a cancelled FHA Case # could not be reinstated which is not true. I spoke to FHA myself and they sent me the instructions on how to get it reinstated. Which I could have closed and been in my house before now. I had to order a new appraisal which as caused one more delay!

    Amerisave is terrible. I was looking around for qoutes on home loans. I told them numerous times im not interested in working with them and to please remove me from there contact list. They not only still harrass me everyday twice a day. They some how got my wife information and started calling her as well. No matter how many numbers i block they still find a way to harras me.     One of the agent called us about the mortgage and he had us signed the document immediately and said that we have to do so to get the estimates. As a first time home buyer, we did not know that we had to “sign” before estimates coming in. And then after we compare rates across different lenders (I mean who does not?), we told them that we will not move forward with them. Then the agent contacted our seller agent directly and told her that we are using them?!! This whole thing confused our seller and us, that was really dishonest.

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I went all the way through the process, and they declined my loan the day before the scheduled closing, which was a date they set!!! They strung me, the seller, and everyone else involved along just to decline the loan. Then after paying for my locked rate, they said there are no refunds. The loan originator never answered the phone or returned calls. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITHOUT TALKING TO YOUR LAWYER. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

    I have never left a review for a place I haven’t worked with but we got a sketchy letter in the mail saying that we were pre-qualified for a mortgage loan and that our info was purchased from another lender without their knowledge.     My interactions with Amerisave started out well with great communication but ended convoluted with no resolve. The process was drawn out with continued requests that were random, not explained in detail, and overall opaque. I had to seek out a lot of answers on my own with minimal follow up from my loan originator and one of the loan processors. Instead of sending continued automated responses/requests to customers the underwriters should be specific in their document requests to customers and staff should answer emails and calls to help clarify request of the underwriters. Unfortunately, I chose not to close on my home refi with Amerisave because requests became absurd and didn't look to end without more request of information or paperwork from me. I was over it after trying to provide everything they asked in a timely manner for almost two months. They kept saying you're at the finish line...only to start requesting new documents once the portal was clear. I have closed on two homes now and think it is easier to work with a company that is local and not remote. Where you can talk to the loan officer and they give you heads up regarding request of the underwriter as they occur. This has been my past experiences. I never had to prove so much to verify that I was capable of managing the property that I already OWN.I would not recommend working with Amerisave and suggest anyone exploring companies to look elsewhere.

    I shopped around and landed on AmeriSave as having the best deal at the time for our refinance. They ensured the process moved as quickly as possible and were very responsive. However, I have had a completely different experience now that they are my lender. It has been incredibly difficult to get a hold of a customer representative. On three different occasions I managed to speak to a representative and in all three instances I have been directed to another line or given another phone number which leads me to a dead end. I have emails, called, and left messages for weeks now with no resolution. I simply have a question about whether or not they have received my county taxes bill. When shopping around I stayed away from companies that had poor customer service ratings and I am worried that I didn’t do a thorough job in researching their customer service department.

    I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but I already paid the application fee so I continued and hoped for the best. I can tell you that my experience was awesome! My loan officer Tamika Goff was so wonderful. I cannot praise her enough. I was getting a refinance loan with cash back. Tamika gave me numerous options and found a good rate for me. She would get back to me within 15 min or sooner whenever I emailed her with a question or concern. Tamika was very professional and very pleasant, even with me emailing her almost daily. The whole process took 4 1/2 weeks. I am very happy. Thank you Tamika Goff!

    I implore you, absolutely do not do business with these people. They are the quintessential buy here pay here used car lot of the mortgage/re-fi industry. 45 days of collecting every document I’ve ever had in my lifespan (surprisingly they didn’t ask for a copy of my library card when I was in elementary school) a 500$ deposit, an appraisal, etc. only to be told the it was declined because it’s a manufactured home, which I disclosed at the very beginning. I get it, not everyone does a manufactured, just be upfront and don’t ask for 500 bucks that I will more than likely never see again...... if you read these reviews, and your gut is telling you it’s not right, do yourself a favor and shop for an actual mortgage company.

    Great rates, very friendly, fast to get started however once I had questions or needed assistance with obtaining paperwork my loan officers stopped contacting me and were very difficult to reach. It wasn't until I decided I'd like to stop working with Amerisave that they finally reached out to me within hours. Unfortunately if your circumstance is slightly unusual Amerisave will not make time for you. I have since refinanced my mortgage with another company - start to finish six weeks without any stress on my part. I got a fantastic rate and didn't wake up to emails everyday about more paperwork and documents being requested. Fortunately I got my $500 refunded. After all, I didn't receive a service!

    I tried to refinance my home with Amerisave. Wow, what a mistake. They dragged my attempt out for 3 ½ months of one request after another. Some of the things they asked for were downright ridiculous, like wanting a copy of my homeowner’s association agreement for my business property. I jumped through hoops fulfilling one request after another, and reapproving loan disclosures on nearly a daily basis. Then when they couldn’t dream up anything else to ask for, they finally set a closing and tried to slip in an increase in the origination points. The points had been $4,750.82 over the whole 3 ½ month ordeal until the last disclosure for the closing, then it shot up to $7,107.24. I called them on this, and then began the process of putting me off. We are looking in to it. My manager is going to call you. We are sending this higher up for review. For three weeks they put me off. I demanded they either refund my $500.00 deposit or set a closing with the proper figures. I got nowhere. As a test to see what they would do I quit contacting them. I never heard from them again. After reading other reviews, and this experience of my own, I have come to this opinion. They get you signed up and get your deposit. Then they drag out the process in hopes you will get frustrated and just quit so they can just keep the deposit. In my case, when I would not quit, they jacked up the origination points. I expect to get one of their pat replies to this review, but if they really wanted to make this right they already would have. Their replies are as dishonest as they are.

    Submitted all docs. Waited six weeks only to be told that my debt to income ratio was not within their lending guidelines. Poor communication. Poor prequalifying . LTV was less than 50%. No cash out. Had to speak with management to get an answer. Awful experience and time wasted.

    STAY AWAY!!! Do NOT use this lender. My husband and I are selling our home and the BUYER is using this lender. They are awful. We have had THREE separate closing dates and THREE extensions. They sent documents with the wrong amounts to the buyer to sign. They finally got the correct documents over, the buyer signed, and they gave us a new closing date... which SURPRISE we had to move.. why? Because they sent the WRONG DOCUMENTS TO THE TITLE COMPANY. Seriously?! My husband and I are LOOSING money (about $2,350 a month) on this house because we have moved out prior to our FIRST closing date but still have to pay the mortgage on this home, purchased a storage unit for our items because we moved out anticipating the first close, and are paying bills on a VACANT house because they won't let us close. Not to mention the new house we are purchasing is contingent on the sale of this current home. So we can't even close on our new home!!! Hence the storage unit! We are literally just waiting on them to send the correct documents to title. We are now on our FOURTH closing date. The buyer and us are now going to pull the lending with them and go with a different lender. Which will now put us back another 2-3 weeks. NEVER use this lender. EVER. They won't make this right by us or the buyer and it is always excuses. So now they are going to loose money because our buyer will be going with a new lender and I will NEVER use this lender in the future for any purchase. Just awful. i will tell everyone to stay away.

    Refinanced with this group and had a lot of concerns, poor feedback and process throughout the whole ordeal. I had to escalate the issue to get me to close past the closing date. Customer service lacks over the phone, could not get them to refund me my extra principal payment. They were not transparent with the process to begin with. Wanted a screenshot of proof that the payment was drafted, they have the debit in their system? The screenshot sent was not to their liking? I’m very disappointed with this group period, please sell my mortgage to chase bank .

    Awful experience with Amerisave. I applied to refinance two properties. The process dragged on forever. It seemed they used random requests for additional docs as a stalling tactic because they take more applications than their staff can process in a timely manner. Four months passed, but as soon as I reached out to another lender, they miraculously scheduled a closing date for both loans (the new lender said the credit check alerted them that I'd be going elsewhere). When the rep came to my home to close, the figures were all wrong! I sent him on his way, proceeded with the local mortgage company and both loans closed in just under four weeks. I had to go through the Better Business Bureau to get the application fees refunded.

    STAY AWAY!!!!! This place is Awful! I started my refinance process in June with Jada, Zach and the manager Micheal. I was told that my loan was approve and will be closed by the end of July that never happen. What happen was a lot of back and forth, disclosure papers were incorrect 3 times and by the time I was expected to close my rate had expired. I was told at this point that I no longer qualified for my loan and there was nothing else that could be done because my debt ratio was too high now. I went to Rocket Mortgage and had NO PROBLEMS!! Actually, Rocket mortgage treated me with respect and like a customer. I normally do not write reviews but Amerisave is an AWFUL place and should be SHOUT DOWN!!!! Don't waste you time because they will tell you nothing but lies and the people they have working there aren't professional. Once again, I normally do not write reviews but this place will make you write one of them. It's you choice but if you know like I know you will go somewhere else.

    After so many years of working with different mortgage lenders, and paying off everything my wife and I were asked to regarding our credits. We still got denied for an FHA loan even though our credits were in the 600s. My wife and I both make decent incomes with various assets. We were both frustrated BIG TIME because we did everything we were asked to no avail!!! But something remarkable happened; my wife was navigating the web and came across AmeriSave. A lady by the name Christi Cassandra reached out to us and took on our burdens and went to work. I'm beyond thrilled to announce after 2 weeks of providing necessary documents, we were approved for a home loan and on top of that, they added $1,500 towards our closing cost. Now that's what I call a mortgage company that cares and all thanks to our loan officer that was very responsive when we have questions. P.S. Provide every document even if they ask for it over and over again. Save all your document so it is easy to forward over to them when asked. Mortgage companies often get scams from applicants using false info. So do your part and they'll do their part in making sure they get you a loan.

    So I landed on this site and spoke with someone who set me up to start the process on a USDA loan. I was then transferred and got disconnected by accident. No big deal well I call back and got a hold of someone else who told me that they don't offer USDA loans and he doesn't even know where to start. So I then told him that if he doesn't know that fine and went to there site and repeated verbatim their web site and told him he doesn't have to lie to me if he doesn't know how to do something that's fine. He then told me to not call him a liar and hung up on me. So just beware cause this place is a joke and I definitely will keep shopping around.

    It's been extremely frustrating working with this lender to say the least. I have had multiple initial discloser document sent to me via the broker now. NONE of them have correct numbers. When I asked my broker regarding the numbers, even he can't understand why those numbers are there. They have asked for so many documentation to a point that they are only missing my birth certificate ( even though I have excellent credit score, minimal debt and income sufficient to get a loan 2 x the property I am purchasing). Horrible experience as we feel trapped since we have come so far in the closing process.

I haven't even done business with them but they are harassing's me.I spoke to a nice gentlemen the first call I got from them, and after researching Amerisave and seeing the bad reviews I kindly let him know that we do not want to do business with them. Now representative after representative are calling me non stop day after day. They received my information from the credit bureau from where I applied with my lender for a refinance, and they wont stop. Clint Moore even went to the point of texting me a bad review screen shot of Bank of America when I said I did not want to go forward with them due to their bad reviews. They harass you day in and out. I have told them I do not want to go forward over the phone, over email, and over text yet they wont get the hint. I will never even consider doing business with them because they are SO aggressive.

    I started a refinance with Amerisave in January of 2021 and was told it would be 3 weeks to 1 month to close. I have a credit score of 850 and was only financing 1/5 of the value of the home. Every week I was asked to provide documents to the company. After 6 weeks I finally had to call my loan officer and ask him why their company was asking for the same documents over and over. I was informed he would personally take care of things because all the correct documents had been uploaded, and there was a problem with their automated document upload service. A few days later I get an email that i need to upload more of the same documents I had already uploaded. I called back and the loan officer said don't worry about it, they have what they need to close. A few days later I get an email saying I would have to have 33,000k dollars to close. I called the loan officer back and asked why a 5k closing for 100K loan turned into a 33k closing, and he didn't know. It turns out this company tried to re-finance a rental property that I owned that didn't have anything to do with the re-finance of my primary residence. I asked how could this happen after sending over 50 documents with the address on it, and of course I was told that their automated system must have made a mistake. After 3 months of dealing with this company they were still not able to provide a closing date, and were still asking for me to upload more of the same documents. A few days later I get a call telling me that they were close to closing and that I needed to upload my bank statements and mortgage statements again. This was the straw that broke the camels back and I told the company to keep my $500 application fee and to never call me again. If you want a loan I would suggest using a different company, AmeriSave has tons of issues and obviously not enough people to figure out how to close a lone in a timely manner.

    There is an agent called JEFFery Rustin , a very deceptive agent that will truck u and tell u everything he thinks u want to hear just so he will collect 500$ from u as locking tour rate but its a lie they wont lock your rate . This agent will not even call you to tell you what they are missing and stand in need. He just ghosted myself and my agent after promising to close in two weeks and taking 500$ fee. After money was paid he disappeared and all i got was email saying loam declined and he never called or emailed back or nothing. He jist disappeared after taking 500$ fee. Imagine how many people they do this to!! In the end his lost , a better lender closed with much better rate. Ignore this company they wont help u . Especially JEFF. I wish i could give 0 stars or even negative . Worst and frustrating experience

    Amerisave is just above a scam. After more than 4 weeks of repeated requests for duplicate documents, I asked why the same documents were requested repeatedly, they replied, Because of system error. After I was assured that I'd finally reached the end, I was asked for the exact same documents again. I was then simply dismissed by the agents. No follow-up contact. I recommend you look elsewhere for a mortgage company that has working systems. Their business model is to profit by stealing $500 from each applicant. RUN.

    Don’t waste your time. While I was deciding between Amerisave and Chase, I informed Amerisave that they’re costs we’re higher. The broker ensured me they would lower costs but just rearranged fees and didn’t reduce costs. I was also lured into paying $600, charged to my account as an appraisal fee however I never even got my mortgage from Amerisave and they never performed an appraisal. They constantly send me emails even though I’ve specifically told them to stop emailing me, and they refuse to refund my money.

    What an absolute disappointment these people are. They praise you for you military service and then after they get your $500.00 deposit they never call you back. They asked for financial info multiple times and I was always timely with my records. Then one day out of nowhere they say sorry we’re not going to fund this loan. I asked why. They said I was late on a mortgage payment in October 2020. I proved that I wasn’t late through my mortgage records and they said they would reinstate the loan process. That was almost 7 weeks ago and not one communication from them whether or not my loan will or will not be funded. I won’t recommend their services especially to Veterans. Can I just get my money back and I’ll remove this

    Refinanced with this group and had a lot of concerns, poor feedback and process throughout the whole ordeal. I had to escalate the issue to get me to close past the closing date. Customer service lacks over the phone, could not get them to refund me my extra principal payment. They were not transparent with the process to begin with.     Did a refi with cash out to pay off some other accounts. Don't think they will meet the payoff dates for anything. They don't care, they just want your money. If you are waiting for your accounts to be paid and it gets close to your due dates, pay them because it may take weeks if not months. I was told by a customer service agent that it was great that i called because if you didn't we would not have notice that any of your accounts have been funded, Really?!?! Then she said i would hate for you to wait a few months! Again, Really?!?!BUT my amerisave account was set up and ready for payments!! ** update as of today November 23rd 2021, I am still waiting for funding on 2 accounts from refinancing and I closed on Oct 25th!! Amerisave washed hands of me and now it is title company, which is a whole different ball game.

    We have received no quality service except the first day we submitted an inquiry. Someone reached out to us almost immediately, and after our $500 application fee was submitted, it was downhill from there. We have had a handful of questions for our rep about our documents, and he was unable to answer most and said he’d get back to us a couple of times with answers, and we have yet to even receive a call with answers about our documents. The estimate we gave on our house, we found was inflated by the rep to give us the answers we wanted to hear to get us to pay for the application fee. This has been the most impersonal process I have ever dealt with, and we are extremely disappointed. It’s almost as if they just want to get people to pay for application fees and then dodge you when you’re trying to finalize the process because they know the picture they painted to get you to agree, isn’t actual reality. We are sitting here waiting for a phone call and it’s been days. But it’s been a couple of weeks since we applied. Nothing is as what it seems, and I feel like this entire thing is a scam.

    I wish I could give them zero stars. I’m not convinced this is a legitimate company. They have made an already stressful process complete hell. They go from promising we will close in 30 days to never answering the phone. Michael absolutely never answered his phone. The only time I got him to answer was when I called from a completely different number. He then gave some excuse as to why he’s better reached through email, which is hilarious because he never responded to those either. He had no idea what he was talking about and had to constantly ask someone else and then would never get back to me. After my first attempt at getting an application refund I was contacted by Roger and promised my loan was already at 85% comlete. They pressured me into staying with Amerisave by making me feel like I would have to wait yet another 4 weeks for another mortgage company to get to the point they were at. That was followed with another closing date and random form requests that were a mistake. After the second promised closing date passed I requested another refund and was only responded with a request to give them a call to “better assist” me. I have learned my lesson with not getting anything they tell me in writing. I have done everything they’ve asked of me pretty much immediately. I even had their appraiser come out just two days after the initial loan application. Yet all Amerisave has done is drag their feet and give me absolutely zero feedback about anything. Please do not trust this company. They should be completely shut down and investigated for their poor ethics and obvious lack of knowledge on the exact business they are in.

    We started the process in April, the process online, and then we spoke with the loan originator over the phone, who asked me for documents. I sent it in right away and he said everything is fine and we were approved, then he asked me to pay $500 for the application fee, the loan officer telling me that was the only way they can continue with the process and I thought that was weird ask for money before the process. We paid and received the approval letter and information about the terms of the loan. So we did not receive any further information or communication about the process and were kept silent. I started sending emails and calls but no one answered me after many, many attempts to try to get information. The original loan officer finally sent me a message telling me that he was going to be out of the office for a while and now he had to deal with someone else, everything started to get more confusing and inconsistent. Different people, different departments asked me to send them the same documents over and over again. But nothing happened with the process. My emails or calls did not respond to me. After a while, another email with a new loan officer who was now in charge of the process and who had to return all the documents. Nobody answers my questions or emails. These people had all of our information for more than two months and there are still no answers or information about the loan process. Finally we give up and stop the process. This company is horrible. We were misled, lied to and discriminated against. I have never had to deal with such a terrible company and very rude employees, They wasted my time and my money. and the stress level they put me through was incredible. We want an apology for a horrible and frustrating experience.

This company got our info and called us the day after we applied for a mortgage (WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY) My husband took the call and since we were expecting a call from our company he gave them our info.     I have been an agent since 2004 and without question, AmeriSave has been an experience ALL buyers should be aware of! There is a total lack of communication along the loan process. I have never dealt with a lender who has just failed to keep all parties updated! Closing documents sent, 3 days later and the lender can’t tell us when and if we are going to close? No documents requested of the buyer, seller and all the while the buyer and seller are spending $$$ because of their complete lack of effort to get us to close or simply communicate! I will NEVER recommend AmeriSave, there are way too many excellent lenders so RUN, don’t use AmeriSave!

    AVOID AVOID AVOID - High application fee - They delayed the closing. Settlement company confirmed it was AmeriSave's fault. Then they wouldn't extend the rate to allow us to reschedule. - Avoid unprofessional and unhelpful. Update to the response from AmeriSave. You were more than willing to charge me hundreds of dollars upfront for your service which you then did not deliver on with no refund. What other industry do you not get your money back when the business fails to uphold their end of the bargain? Since AmeriSave keeps lying to me and clearly targets and prays on people who don't understand the mortgage process well. They are 100% in the fault of the closing being delayed being unable to clear the judgement with their underwriter. Never once have they admitted to this and will blame everyone else.     This company operates in a legal grey area. While nothing they do is technically illegal (though the CFPB did fine them 19 million for a bait and switch scam they ran in 2014) they are NOT ethical. They are predatory, BEWARE and just go with a local credit union. Even if you don’t reach out to them they will buy your info and call you around 4 times a day.

    Absolutely the worse experience I have ever had with a mortgage broker, and I’ve worked with at least 15 over the years. I applied in September for a VA streamline loan, and I sit here 5 weeks later with nothing but the latest round of updated and erroneous loan documents. The VA requires that a loan originator assess and notify me of the Expense Recoupment period within 3 business days for this loan, but apparently none of Amerisave’s originators or processors were knowledgeable of the VA’s requirements. If they had, they would not have required me to submit all the unnecessary documentation that I did. If you review the “changes” document, you can see the constant and nonsensical changes that were made to the terms of this loan, as recently as yesterday. The rate went from 2.25 to 2.625 to 1.99 and now back to 2.25. The term changed, the expenses changed, the points changed. Amerisave had proven itself to be completely inept, unable to competently process a mortgage as simple as this. Your employees do not know their profession. They don’t return calls or emails when they say they will. They argue unprofessionally (JCecil). I truly regret having applied to Amerisave. I should have done my research more thoroughly. I wasted five weeks of frustration, unnecessarily closed my HELOC and changed insurance information, all for nothing. As well as writing honest reviews, I will dissuade any relative, friend or acquaintance from ever considering Amerisave.

    Our AmeriSave refinance experience for your awareness: 1. AmeriSave promised that any market improvements in rates-points during our processing period would be reflected in our mortgage, and even would be proactively applied. This did not happen, despite the market improvements being dramatic and obvious and despite us sharing a competitor's formal loan estimate. 2. AmeriSave recommended we cancel the automated payment on our prior mortgage and claimed that our new mortgage would almost certainly close in time to avoid a late fee, and if not they would inform us in time to make a manual payment. It closed a couple days late despite them continually claiming it wouldn't to the very end. 3. Once servicing was to begin, they mailed us all kinds of inadequately explained, unhelpful, and inaccurate paperwork. The paperwork claimed manual payment or automated payment setup would all have to be done by physical mail with extended time frames required. I searched online and discovered instead that they offer a mortgage servicing portal with immediate online payment options. 4. Our insurer mailed them a check to be deposited in our escrow account. They lost the check and we had to track this fact down ourselves. We submitted multiple messages to them online about this and it took a long time to get any response. We ultimately had to have the insurer mail a new check directly to us. 5. A few more items to note regarding their messy processing: 5A. Their application/processing portal is poorly designed and buggy and, as a result, is confusing and less than helpful. It incorrectly indicates things you need to do/sign or that you have read or not read or that are up to date or not up to date. It also regularly sends notifications to you via email based on this inaccurate information. AmeriSave employees initially tell you to ignore various of these elements and then you learn to do it proactively. 5B. They kept changing the key documents at the last minute even after they should have been locked. They ended up taking a whole year in homeowners insurance at closing even though a whole year had just been paid. This resulted in our insurer doing a large refund a couple months after closing. 5C. They somehow assigned two different notaries to closing. We were dealing with two notaries adamantly claiming they were the true notary just a few hours before closing.

Funded one loan but not the other, took 4 MONTHS to finally close when it should have been an open and shut loan like they told me it would be in the beginning. Couldn't get answers to any of my questions in a timely manner, couldn't get ahold of my loan officer, who eventually had a breakdown on me when I finally was able to connect with her. I mean, I don't write reviews but this experience was bad enough for me to warn others. If I could do it all over again, I'd never give them my business. On the 2nd loan they drug out into month 5 after having just finally funded one loan, I cancelled my application and it took weeks to get my money refunded. Don't do it.

    Absolutely horrible experience…. Have been working with them since end of June…. Ev great… appraisers were hard to get… ok I get that… however after 3.5 months to tell us will be closing soon as appraisal is completed and then send me a list of 7 things they still need…. Which by the way they had already except 2 new things they suddenly needed…. Is absolutely ridiculous. The cost of closing kept increasing, their fees kept changing …. Up of course…points kept changing and increasing… and all without any explanation. No one knows what’s happening or what is really going on. We have never had such an awful experience refinancing.     This “company” is absolutely PATHETIC! I started the process to refinance in April 2021. Everything was going great for the first month. I was quick with any paperwork they needed. 2 months later I thought to myself that this is taking a little long just for a refinance… fast forward to August and September. They needed paystubs from 4-5 years ago and kept promising a closing date but never got there. The communication was horrendous. Michael who is a processor, is a joke, he would email and call asking for the same documents I submitted at least 3 times and ask for those paystubs from 4-5 years ago even though I told him multiple times we did not have access to those documents. Now, in October I cancelled with Amerisave and started a refinance with my original company and we’re set to close at the end of this month. The manager said that their loan officer was new and didn't know.     Around March 2021, Amerisave received my $500.00 deposit and pre-approved my loan. My beautiful new property is on the beach in Florida with a million dollar view. Amerisave Mortgage then refused to finance it because it was on the beach. Dumb decision as my gorgeous property has now escalated high in value. I still want my $500.00 deposit back from Amerisave. I am very thankful to my new mortgage company that had the insight to value not only my years of excellent credit standing but the value of this property.

    Refinance went through fine, but customer service since and been horrible. If I could go back and go with a different company I would. My mortgage insurance was paid in full for the year and Amerisave was provided all tge info. They paid the annual premium out to a company that I no longer had a policy with and now wants to raise my mortgage payment. Got money back from insurance and paid escrow account back. Amerisave is dragging feet with escrow reanalysis and I cannot get a straight answer from any customer service rep I talk to even management. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. If I could give zero or negative stars I would.

    This institution is beyond incompetent. Forty Five days after imitating a rate lock they are still requesting various documents. I have closed a lot of homes and several rate reduction loans. First one to ask for a deposit, Ok I thought. However this requesting additional documents every other days and 45 days later still not closed!!!! I just sit around all day to answer their e mails to go search for documents every day. If that's you this is the institution for you. I Called Chris Barney senior loan officer because my mortgage payment was close to being past due. (remember this is now over 45 days) He assured me there was no problem and we will be closed next week . Convinced me not to send payment. Next week rolls around instead of closing notification this institution is again asking for more documents. I have never been late on a Mortgage payment. I was furious and again called Chris, I even told them at that point they were incompetent and get your act together. Clearly said this is the last form I am sending and they can just send loan forward with what you have in the file. I could not believe when another week rolled around and they again still requesting more documents, some from 2 years ago. This is all for a simple VA rate reduction. and Its not even a refinance. The last one I did two years ago was done in 2 weeks. I sent email notifying them last night that I was done , i am not moving forward with them and wanted a refund. Of course i got a response today stating the $500 deposit is non refundable and also they sent in the email they are ready to send the loan application to underwriters, just need one more form! Totally different form then what was requested Monday. Other Mortgage companies even questioned why they needed all they are requesting and didn't need a home appraisal. The other institutions also didn't need a deposit ....Hmmmmmmmmm Good news rates haven't gone up

    This place is a joke. I didn’t believe the other bad reviews at first. Had a phone appointment with a lender to discuss a refi who aggressively texted me prior to that wanting copies of my current mortgage statement and other information, which I did not provide without making some kind of phone contact. He ghosted me for our scheduled conference call to discuss refi options. This company had sent me a letter marketing a rate which was far lower than other lenders. They supposedly require an upfront $500 application fee, which thank goodness I did not pay given the other comments of the awful experiences of bait and switch tactics, delayed closings, etc. I’m just glad I didn’t get too sucked into the application process with this shady company. I had a weird feeling that grew stronger in the 24 hours I dealt with them. My advice is to run far and fast from this company that appears to be nothing more than a scam.

    I started the refinancing process with this company in February this year. They strung me along for over 5 months. Every time I they told me everything was fine, they would come back a couple of days later and say they needed something else. Started taking so long that I had to provide the same information 4 to 5 times. Then I didn't hear from them for almost a month only to be told that my file was deleted in error. Then I had to send everything again. The processor or the originator would never answer their phone. And when I did hear from them, they always gave some cocktail and bull story. Finally I had enough and asked for my money back! I have since started the process with my present mortgage company and things are sooooo much better. DO NOT GIVE AMERISAVE ANY OF YOU TIME!! #BEWARE

    They have called me from 5 different numbers in the last 2 days to refinance my home loan. I told them each time I did not want to refinance. They will not stop pestering me and the number changes each time. I do not recommend this company.

    Loan originators/officers will make you promises to lock in your interest rate and then they would not fulfill those promises. "See screenshots from the emails" Exhausting and completely random submittal process they will ask you to submit the same documents that you submitted before 5-6 times because they never look at the documents you actually submitted in the past. Last but not least. I tried calling and sending emails to talk about this issues with my loan officers and their managers for over three days now and they just wouldn't pick up their phones or call back after my voicemails or even respond to their emails. I have been through this process before and I know it has its own difficulties but this is different experience. this is extremely unprofessional and people who actually don't care about how their actions affect you as a borrower. My closing is really close and I am about to pull myself out of this mess

    The whole refinance process was a nightmare- my lender wouldn’t respond for days on end, took much longer than expected. I have two friends that started their refinance with Amerisave and one went a different direction because her experience was so bad and the other barely made it through. Since refinancing in January, I’ve gotten two delinquent RE tax letters. They are incompetent and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

    This was the worse experience working with a lender that claims to be helping home buyers, this was our 3rd home purchase. Our other homes were paid in full, our credit scores were 750 plus, we’ve owned and operated a successful business for the past 4 years, with our revenue being in the 800k plus annually tax bracket. When we submitted this loan through Amerisave, they instantly said we were pre-approved and asked us to lock in the rate of 2.5%. We agreed and started looking for homes. We finally found one at the price of 330k, so we proceeded to starting a contract. Amerisave asked for all kinds of documents. We gave them 2019 and 2020 tax returns, and they started requesting for P&L’s for up to current day. We got with our CPA and provided them that, they kept asking for more documents and again we provided it. 24hrs before closing we were told the day before that they had missing documents, again we sent them only to find out they denied us last minute. The house was 330k, we put down $110k cash down only to be denied last minute? What a joke! If there were 0 stars, that’s what I would give this cooperation because that’s what they deserved. My experience working with this cooperation was terrible. Multiple attempts to get in contact with my loan officer.It made the process in purchasing a home more painful then it honestly needed to be. I will never use AmeriSave and advise anyone looking to use them to look at another loan corporation. We put 10k earnest money down and had gotten everything paid for and transferred to our names. This company isnt organized, they had different multiple workers calling and asking for documents, no wander they couldn’t have all our info to process our loan. Smh, I will only hope you don’t do this to anyone else, you are a huge company that is supposed to help people not take the people’s money and not care. Please do not use this company, you will regret it.

    They baited us with a good offer. They took us down a rabbit hole until a few days before we were supposed to close to give this ridiculous off that no one would agree to. They switched the terms. They did this AFTER they took $500.00 dollars from us. Jackson Oliver was supposed to call me back several times. He refuses to call or email. My loan application is just sitting there with ZERO response from the company. They took my money and now are ignoring me. STAY AWAY. They got sued for this very same thing and lost. I am about to file a complaint with my district attorney's office. They committed a crime in my area. The district attorney in our area does not like these typed of things. 2 months of them just sitting on our application and took out money. They are a scam. Jackson Oliver, you know who I am. Give me my money back and close the loan out so I can move forward with a ligament mortgage company Update: We called the number we saw on the responses from the company. The rep patched over to Jackson Oliver. He claimed he would call us back at 5:30. Guess who did not call AGAIN!!!! I have been reading all these reviews. Are there any attorney's wanting a class action law suit. We have everything documented. I am a SPED teacher. When I say we have documentation, I mean it is nothing short of everyone's blood type. Everyone's stories sound just like ours. It appears that Amerisave did not learn their lesson from the first law suit they lost. For sure going to take the time to make copies of all my documents and send it to our local District Attorney's office. The fact Amerisave sent us a document with the loan they baited us in on through the postal services, that is a Federal Crime. They are using the postal service to commit fraud. We have had proof that this dumb company handed to us. They actually printed the offer they baited us with and sent a packet to our house. We printed every single thing they did. Because of where I reside, I have a bomb shell for Amerisave. Literally, no way to get out of all this. Highly suggest you look at our application and get it resolved or we will call in someone not giving you a choice. Plus, you guys will be hit with some hefty fines. My $500.00 is not worth what I will unleash on you guys. Everyone who this company scamed, do a charge back on your credit card. Tell your current mortgage company to not respond to Amerisave. File a complaint with your local District Attorney's office. If you have not done that before, wait until you see the power they have. It is amazing. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against the Georgia location. Finally, file a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. If anyone does a class action suit, let me know, we will join in.

    We applied for refinancing with Amerisave in August 2020 and have been working with them for the past 5 months. The employees we worked with are as follows: Michael Ellis, Loan Originator and Carolyn Blythe, Loan Processor . Our credit score was above 740 and we had great credit history. Our income level was sufficient as well.Our application number was #10925067. They offered us 2.25% interest rate with no points or fees which we agreed to. We received a closing disclosure with these terms as well before proceeding. We locked with these terms, but we did not receive what were promised. However, we received a new closing disclosure right before the closing date was scheduled and it was not according to the terms we had agreed to. After seeing this, we questioned why there was points and fees of about $3,000 added after the initial closing disclosure we received. They first told us that these were the terms we had agreed to and when we sent sent back our earlier correspondences and closing disclosure we had agreed to. Then, for about two or three weeks, we received no responses to our numerous emails and calls. Later, they told us they must probate a will because my mother had passed away in April 2020 although she was not on the title. They told us there would be about a 2 month delay in order to probate, but my mother had never written a will . While we were waiting, we spoke to our lawyer who informed us there is no need for this process, since there is no will and my mother had no ownership of the property . Then I checked my online portal, I saw that my application status says declined despite the fact that we were under the impression that our application was still being processed. Overall, this company wasted 5 months of our time, and we would not recommend anyone work with them. Because we refused to be tricked by their hidden fees, they wasted months of our time sending documents, emailing them, and trying to get this process completed. When I checked on your website, I saw that the status of my application was "declined" despite you wasting our time for5 months with different delays and claiming you are still working on it. Since you offered us 2.25% interest rate, Chase matched this offer. So although working with you was a waste of time, it did help us out in this scenario. We recently closed with Chase bank with the same offer you originally gave us, so it did work out in the end. I am not sure why you put us through this unnecessary struggle instead of being straightforward, but I'm very glad we don't have to deal with this anymore.     We applied for a mortgage with Steven Chamas for a property purchase in Raleigh NC. Steven Chamas and Amerisave - Atlanta Office, acted with complete disregard in qualifying us for a mortage - not responsive to emails and returning calls after we sent them financial information. I would not recommend either Amerisave or Steven Chams to anyone.

    There's not much to say... EVERY negative review in the last 1 to 3 weeks on here is the same story as mine. And all recent reviews are negative. I should've stuck with my original lender. I'm a registered nurse since 2016 and had a tight deadline because of a legal matter and the day of my closing I hear NOTHING... NO CALL BACKS NO RESPONSES TO MY EMAIL about why I've already made over 33% of the homes value 8 months into the year and I was denied. No explanation according to any FHA guidelines to explain my denial and I am not the one they told that I was denied, it was relayed to me. My Loan number is 15792745 and I just lost $30,000 with no one from AmeriSave telling me about this denial and NO UPDATE! This is the worst experience ever.
