The loan team is great, but once the loan is on the books it is a bit of a nightmare. I pay into an escrow account with each monthly payment with the assumption that they will be paying my property taxes but they have never done that on time. I receive a delinquent tax notice every time and then have to email them to remind them to pay. This past time, after I sent the email they did not pay the delinquent taxes and I received a 2nd notice that it was going to collections. I have had many phone calls with them and no one seems interested in fixing the underlying problem. This past time, finally, someone told me they figured out they were paying the wrong city taxes instead of the city I'm in. I asked them to fix it and pay the taxes and send me an email once each of those things was complete and she said they would. I never received communication so I called back. The new person said that they don't send emails for stuff like that and he wasn't sure if the problem was fixed. I asked if the taxes were paid and he said no and that they would get to it. I asked if they could contact the City to figure out the problem and let them know payment was coming. He said they don't do stuff like that. The rate for my loan was great, my loan team was great because there were some tricky circumstances with the refinance....but the customer service/loan servicing is atrocious. I am only writing this review to hopefully get someone's attention over there to fix the problem.

Patrick Maloney and his team were exceptional. They exceeded our expectations in every way throughout the process. Whenever we had a question, we had a response from Patrick or his team in minutes - not hours, not days. Everyone was professional, courteous, and they kept us informed and up to date every step of the way. While our real estate transaction was complex and needed to be completed on a short time frame, we never worried about Fidelity Bank, as they were always on top of things. Beyond the great experience we had with Fidelity Bank overall, we really enjoyed working with Patrick and his team. It was obvious they genuinely care about their clients and worked hard for our trust - they definitely earned it. Every aspect of our loan was clear and straightforward. Everything upfront - no games, no gotchas (this was not the case with some lenders we had dealt with in the past.) Ours was a large transaction, so knowing we were working with professionals with integrity meant a lot in terms of peace of mind. Beyond the great service, we flat out got the best deal on our loan. Lowest rate, lowest fees. We had quotes from lenders big and small, multiple online lenders, credit union, etc. Patrick beat them all. Integrity, great service, and the best deal. If you are shopping for a loan, we definitely recommend Patrick and his team at Fidelity Bank. We would definitely use them again.

I didn't know I had 2 Mortgages until the settlement. I wasn't happy with their service. 🤔
