Ameris Bank Savannah Hwy, Charleston

Joseph King at Ameris Bank did a great job on my mortgage! He helped me close on time and made the process as smooth as possible. Even when we decided to change up the loan type (kept another home instead of selling) Joseph and his team were able to get us across the finish line quickly and easily. He even helped me raise my credit score about 30 points while I was in the pre buying stages of my purchase. I couldn't be happier with Joseph King and I recommend him highly!

Great customer service, multiple locations in the area, they offer lots of different services including mortgage, credit cards, merchant & so on!! My all time favorite bank ever.

I stopped into the Savannah Hwy location yesterday because my bank, Bank of America did not have a notary on staff. I walked into Ameris, was greeted right away, Lance stepped out of his office to ask what he could help me with, he was notary, able to help execute my document in 2 minutes and I was on my way. Thank you so much for your great customer service!!

I've been banking with them for years, both business and personally. I love the customer service, no other big box bank could even come close to the experience they can provide.

Loved this location. Everyone was super friendly and I had a bank account and debit card in no time.

Terrible branch customer service and no option for online payment. The very positive mortgage loan process did not translate to the local branch. Since they don't have an option to pay your mortgage online, my wife had to drive to the branch to make my son's first payment. The young "man" at the drive thru had an attitude and was obviously annoyed from the word go. The account number was clearly written on the check and she included the payment coupon yet he still had to ask "what kind of payment is this?" You'd think the account number would tell you this but I digress... After she made the payment, he asked if she'd like a receipt (which is standard and automatic for ANY other bank). She said, "yes". He then [literally] rolled his eyes and provided one. I am sorry it was so very difficult for the little fella to do his job. I guess taking it to the next level by requesting he push a button to print out the receipt sent him over the edge. Maybe he should consider another profession.

Very nice people and very convenient and very convenient also nice.. If I live in Charleston I would bank at this location with these guys. Thank you also their bank is located across the road from the drive thru.
