We have banked at American State Bank for several years. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. We just purchased a home through them. Marilyn Penick helped with this and made it such an easy transaction. She has helped us with many things and is always a pleasure to visit with. I highly recommend American State Bank.

Mellony Klemesrud is more than just a bank employee, she is also a friend. She has always been so wonderful to both of my parents and my family. As my folks got older in age, she always made sure to explain anything that my mom might of had questions about. She always goes above and beyond just her job title. We just lost my mom a week ago and Mel was one of the first people I called with banking questions. And as always she got the answers for me and made sure that I felt comfortable with the answers. We have banked with American State Bank for over 25 years and have had excellent service for all phases of consumer banking, including loans, checking accounts, and other financial services. I especially wish to acknowledge the great help we have had from Debbie DeForest whenever a question or issue arises. Debbie has helped us by answering questions about online banking and other issues. While such issues don't arise often, they are extremely frustrating when they do. Debbie is always cheerful and upbeat and has often been able to quickly solve our problem. If she doesn't have the answer at her fingertips, she is great at finding the answer or at referring us to the appropriate staff member who can solve our issue. Kudos to Debbie and to all the great staff at American State Bank!

We recently worked with Brady at the bank for assistance with the purchase of our first home. He did an excellent job keeping in contact with us throughout the process and was always just a phone call away for any questions we had. I just bought a car and went to my bank to see if they could finance the car. My credit was no good, so I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to buy the car that I wanted. But there’s this nice lady Annette García that works at this bank, she helped me a lot!, she called me several times to give me some options. Even when she wasn’t working she was still reaching out to me by texting or calls. I really appreciated her help! She’s a very friendly lady, thank you Annette I’m enjoying the car I bought.😄They are always super nice. ♥️

We have trusted our personal banking, our business banking and our ag banking to American State Bank for more than twenty five years and they have always been there for us through the good times and the lean times. They are a community bank that is large enough to meet all of our needs but small enough that you still get personalized service where all the staff knows you by your first name and greets you with a smile.I don't see a reason to ever bank anywhere else.

I've used them for several recreational vehicles. I could not be more impressed with their help and friendliness. One place good customer service is definitely not dead.

We like the convenience of online banking to manage our money during non banking hours and Marie has been a huge help with our questions. Many others are helpful when we go to the main bank or drive through. We appreciate our local bank.
