I've seen a lot of comments on their customer service being racially motivated. This was not the case when I went. I brought some stuff by to sell, got a decent deal, more than I expected. Good service. People of all races coming in, buying, selling, pawning, and walking out with a smile. These comments are either false or outdated. This is a great place to buy and sell used goods. Nothing wrong with American Pawn Shop at all. Cheers.

Worst PawnShop in Thomasville. Horrible staff. Especially the older woman. They only let White People buy guns, if you're a Mexican like me Or Black person you will get lied to cause they dont want to sell to you

needs to give better value to items. had to pawn my 2k value laptop for only 100 because they refuse to go off of official value. Asus would buy my laptop back for around 1.8k USD.

From looking at the reviews from ripping people off to they not doing business because of the color of your skin I'm scared to do business with them!!!

This is by far one of the nicer pawn shops in Thomasville. While still specialized firearm dealers they offer a very wide selection of music instruments (not just a single lonely guitar tucked away in a dusty corner), instrument accessories (strings, cases, ..), outdoor gear, and electronics. Very friendly staff, and good pricing, both for sellers and buyers. Easily accessible and spacious parking.

Don't take any game here to sell or pawn. You can get almost ten times the amount from gamestop down in Florida, even if you choose their cash option. My fiance took 22 ds and 3ds games with a total value to gamestop of around $300 here and had to argue just to get $30 from them. For anyone wondering there was 1 game that only 2k copies was made and 5 pokemon games all of which gamestop gives between $ 25-50 for a piece. Edit: Avoid the red haired lady if you do go here, she drops the value the most if you make her look things up.

Went into there store took a fire arm for trade for possible store credit. And the gun I took was around $500 online the offered me $75. Went to another local pawn shop and they gave me $300 in store credit. Rip off place!!!

These are good people for the most part when you're done business with them have been good to us over the years we do a lot of business it's nice to have it available when necessary they seem to always give a fair price
