This was the smoothest home refinance experience we have had! Mike Jacobs kept us informed of the process in a timely manner from the application to closing the loan. And the process only took about a month from start to finish. The last mortgage company we dealt with before applying to American Mortgage didn't keep up communications as to the status of our loan application. I had to call them each time, and after 4 months of this we stopped dealing with them. I would recommend that anyone who is looking for a refinance to apply to American Mortgage. Mike Jacobs has made the refi process less stressful since my situation was complicated. Mike was always there or returned my call immediately when I had concerns or questions. This is my first refi and Mike held my hand every step of the way. My friend Terry had to help with the process on her computer and helped with forms and Mike showed her the respect and worked with and acknowledged her as if she was a client. I greatly appreciate and respected Mike more for that. I had checked out other agencies and I was very Leary because it was a different person every time and it’s like the right hand didn’t know what the left was doing Frustrating for me. I moved on. After I started working with Mike the company I was already making my house payment already had called and said they could beat American mortgage rates. Long story what a crock. Embarrassing and feeling guilty but I went crawling back to Mike and he welcomed me back with open arms. I closed yesterday and payment is lower than estimated and more money came to me than estimated. I had dealt with approximately 6 others before I found American mortgage. It was so confusing and stressful and I am thankful to Mike Jacob’s to taking charge and guiding me through this. I look as Mike as family and will be staying in touch he is that kind of person.
