They answer our questions and help us understand everything before anything is finalized. I drive an hour to them because they are so amazing! (Even though you can email it in. As a young man, taxes can be a very frightening and stressful thing, but AFTS has a way of explaining it in a way that makes it as simple as breathing. These hard-working, super kind people I’m thankful to consider friends of mine. I knew them in the community from that old-fashioned small town feel working in my local grocery store and have known them for years. We used other places when I was much younger, but I found something special on my end when I was old enough to file on my own with AFTS. All of their representatives are phenomenal, and they each- minus their newest agent, Mercedes Adams- have filed either mine or someone in my family’s taxes. Any time I pass by their office, I see John extremely hard at work, tax season and non-tax season! Mercedes and Juanita both have tremendous financial experience, working as experienced bank tellers that decided on exciting new opportunities as they take their talents to a new level! And let’s not forget their operations manager, Jeff! He’s always been so prompt and helpful to me in the check-cashing office attached to the left side of their property. They take a great deal of pride with their job and their customer service. No matter where I decide to live, I plan to use their services for the foreseeable future! Tax season can be very stressful. However American Family Tax makes it super easy to file. They are very professional and will answer any questions you have. They are 2 hours away from our home and we use. I highly recommend them!!!!

We have used American Family Tax Services in Social Circle for a few years and we wouldn't think of using anyone else. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and friendly. They recently saved me from shredding a check for over $1,700 that came from the IRS. I had mistakenly thought it was a double payment for the tax year 2020. After they took a closer look at it, it was actually a refund from 2019 that I was owed after filing an amendment. I had almost let the check become voided after sitting on it for almost a year! They also make recommendations on possible changes you might need to make to benefit you, so that you don't owe so much to the IRS.

Juanita was so incredibly professional and so friendly! She made sure all my questions were answered and made sure to check up on anything I called about with urgency. I will surely be back to see her! Everyone in the office was friendly and professional.

Juanita was a breeze to work with, she is familiar with union work for linemen and knows the right deductions and credits available for our travel work from several states. I’m across the country and filed taxes over my phone with sending docs in through email.
