American Eagle Financial Credit Union Sycamore St, Glastonbury

They were not prepared for the Saturday before Labor Day and even when I made an appointment at 10:30 I am still waiting at 11:15. Not happy. They usually have it together. I feel like if they have appointment times they should respect the appointment times. Not a happy customer.I’ve been back since and they were not busy and very helpful. I suggest going when it’s not busy. I like them. I would never switch.

I arrived at this Credit Union's door at 1 minute past closing time, on a Saturday, the day before we were leaving to on a family ( kids and grandkids) vacation to Cape Cod. The door was locked and I was panic stricken! I didn't have an ATM or Debit card for this place, since I'm retired and had always just gone in person to do my banking. One of the customer associates, working in the credit union, came to the door to let a customer out and relock the door. I quickly explained my situation...I just needed to take out a few hundred dollars to bring on vacation with my family! Not only did this kind young man accommodate my request, but he went one step further so this wouldn't happen again to me! Within a few minutes, I had the cash I needed for vacation AND a new ATM/DEBIT card in my possession!! I will be forever grateful to the wonderful employees of American Eagle Financial C. U. In the Glastonbury, CT branch!

Bank doesn’t honor agreements their members. Will withhold payroll, managers not willing to help, even if they’ve agreed to no longer withhold payroll.

I rarely go inside the branch due to online banking but the last two visits by either myself or husband has been rude. First, they wouldn't allow my husband to cash a banker's check even if I was present because they said it was too much. Went to another branch and they did it. Then today I go in to take out cash and the teller says I am supposed to call ahead for this amount in cash. Please send me the American Eagle member policy booklet because the last time I checked you use a bank to hold your money and take it when needed. I work in customer service and I may have politely suggested for future transactions IF you know ahead time just give us call before hand. Irregardless, I didn't even know until just before I went in that I needed the cash so I wouldn't of even been able to call ahead anyways. I have been a member for almost twenty years and have never had issues at any other branch. Finally, there are more fees for every little thing, might as well be a Bank of America member. At least when I need my cash I know they can supply it to me without a hassle.

Just a piece of advice... instead of having 3 tellers ignoring the next person in line (and the 5 behind them) it may be nicer to say "someone will be with you in a moment" even if just to acknowledge their waiting

Kaylle was very helpful with getting some debit fraud cleared up, super nice guy, I highly recommend you speak with him! Quick, courteous and efficient service every time I come by, thanks guys!
