American Broadcast CU W 66th St, New York

Visited this location on various occasions and I've observed their pleasant with customers who seem to work in the building. I assume they've established a relationship with those clients over the years so their gentle with them. Now the short bald head man is in a league all by himself his customer skills are sorely lacking he's abrasive, condescending, and actually gives rude a whole new meaning. The section of Customer Service skills which offers the service provider connect with their customer definitely isn't his strong point or part of his employee handbook. Recognizing this after subsequent visits to this location whenever I've to in interact with him I keep it simple ... After reading other reviews, and considering my own experience its safe to say warm and fuzzy isn't this locations forte. Yet I'm appreciative of their location the easy access to my funds can't be measured, and that alone is worth five stars * * * * *

I've never ever, ever, ever received such horrific, disrespectful, and condescending customer service at any financial institution on earth or from any company period. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I received such service at this CU, and I love credit unions! I came in around 3:55 which I realize this was closing time but literally as I was pulling up my account number my phone had died. This bald headed gentleman proceeds to roll his eyes at me and threaten me that if I didn't get my information up in 5 minutes he would not service me. How am I supposed to do that sir? My phone is dead and all of your colleagues and you were all too busy to help. Luckily I was blessed with a nice fellow CUSTOMER that handed me a phone. Meanwhile everyone at this credit union just proceeds to not help me and close out. Look, I understand you need to close. I hated being that customer, but I had needed to pull out money for my first, last, and security so it was a good amount of cash. How are you helping me by yelling at me, how is that solving the issue at hand? On top of that no CU have I gone to closes at 4. But that’s besides the point. Not only was this gentleman rude to me (he THREW my cash in the window, did not offer an envelope until I had to ask. I’m telling you if the window wasn't there he’d throw it on the floor). But in addition the none compassionate colleagues added fire to the flame. I was extremely appalled with his attitude and demeanor. I will never return to this credit union or unless some sort of miracle happens.

The elderly gentleman teller was not at all helpful, very passive aggressive, and even though he told me he could take me, then decided to lecture me about closing times, and how people wanted to go home. I am sorry that the world doesn't revolved around your 4 pm closure, and I am sorry that I am trying to secure an apartment. It left me quite upset and I couldn't even pretend that I could make it through the rest of the transaction. I just ended up leaving.

Wow Im shocked at how others have responded. I've been coming here for years & I receive EXCELLENT customer service!

I'm part of the American Airlines Credit Union and the ABCU is one I can use when I'm not at the airport. I have been coming here for a few months now and hafe never had a problem. The bald headed man has always been respectful and helpful so has the older lady, younger lady and the Asian Man. I need have issues. I go in ask for the amount I need and leave. I am always greeted with an good morning or afternoon and a good bye....

The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful to the point of humiliation. If you're using this as a shared branch get ready for the disapproving looks and rolled eyes as they chastise you for not implicitly knowing the protocol. I've frequented this location and used to dread the bald squat guy because he was the epitome of bad service but once I learned his style he chilled out with me.

They are all rude and obnoxious at this branch. I just don't understand how the ball man with glasses still has a job.
