A little more quiet branch location of this Credit Union, in case you want to get your matters taken care of in a less busy environment. Offering still the same services as other locations, this branch is worth of considering, if you happen to be in the neighborhood. An average star rating, as nothing was wrong as such, but there were a few things that irked me. The staff member going back and forth from his office to the service counter -- bypassing all the customers waiting to be served -- so that his need of prints could be addressed as a priority, as well as the counter staff keeping themselves busy on purpose so that they would not need to attend to a customer that is there in person. We can do better than that, surely.

I have been a member at this credit union since it was SRP, probably close to 25 years. I have had a large some of money fraudulently stolen from my debit account and they have been less than helpful. Zero communication, my mortgage is due and they refuse the credit me the money until the case is settled. Whenever that may be. I thought it was pretty clear I wasn’t spending money in arizona and in Georgia all in the same day but I’m sure it’s a really big caper of a case

Had 2 auto loans and 2 recreational vehicle loans. Rates are good. And they are friendly that's the only good about it. The bad is difficult to make payments other than walking in with cash. Absolutely horrible customer service as in getting in touch with anyone. Email phone and no response usually. So I am taking my loans I have left elsewhere.

Worst banking experience I’ve ever encountered. I had a car loan with this bank and it was almost impossible to make a monthly payment. Not convenient at all. Customer service is all but non existent. The app is terrible as well. Absolutely no easy way to make a payment. $8 service fee to pay your loan each month.. try and call them.. be prepared for a long wait. Glad I’m no longer tied to this establishment

    Response from the owner

Hi Jane, we apologize for any frustration.

First, good luck getting a hold of them. 2-1/2 to 3 hour call back time. Tried to pay my loan early. Couldn't pay it on-line. Finally get a hold of them and they give me an address to send my check. Once the check clears I check my account and the is a $19.64 balance on the loan. I pay it online, with an $8 charge. Check the account and now there is a .01 left on the loan. Why, I think it is so They can get another $8 or they can charge me with a late charge when the loan is due. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION!!!!

I felt like it was my duty to give a review. This bank has been so good to our family. We have 2 auto loan. The interest is low and I always get someone on the phone right away. They are helpful and I hope to get my first home loan with them.

The absolute worst bank I have ever had. My mortgage apparently was sold to this bank and I had no choice in this matter. The customer service is awful! I have had to call them several times regarding a matter of my account and I’m always told one thing. I then wait for it to happen and it never happens. After 5 calls you would think they would have gotten it right by now. They are the absolute worst! I would not recommend this bank to anyone. First chance I get I plan on refinancing my house so that I can use a better bank. America First Bank is awful!

Decent banking, good customer service. However, they lock the account for anything and everything. Then you have to call in to get it unlocked. I've already put every setting on my account that says, to allow as much as possible and still my account gets locked every couple days, which is really frustrating.

Just opened a personal and business account at this branch. They are also helping us with our SBA PPP application. Chris Hughes went the extra mile and was very professional. We're new to America First so there is more time needed for us to know if this is for us, but we're coming from Wells Fargo and looking for something better. So far we're very impressed. They all seemed very understanding of social distancing and postings were placed on the front door to ensure that patrons that were sick or showing symptoms did not enter. I'm not sure if all staff are as professional as Chris was, but if I can interact with people as helpful and knowledgeable as him, I'll be a member for life. Thanks Chris!
