Needed a home inspection and chose Amelia's Home Inspection after reading the reviews and I must say, the reviews were absolutely right! John was very thorough, precise, knowledgeable, professional, detail-oriented, and just overall awesome! I arrived to the inspection early only to find John was already there! He took his time and pointed out every detail he was concerned about. He answered all of my questions and I left knowing I received the best home inspection ever! John was very easy to talk to and just genuinely nice. Based off of my experience, I recommend Amelia's Home Inspection 100%

I cannot say enough about what an excellent experience we had with Amelia Home Inspection. This was our second home inspection experience (I will not name the first company), but the contrast in the level of detail and quality of service we received was dramatic. John was incredibly thorough, he walked us through absolutely everything, and his report was easy to understand. On top of all of that, we received the completed 84 page report the day of the inspection. After having some experience with other inspectors, I will never get a home inspection from anyone else.

John scheduled an inspection appointment with in a reasonable amount time, two days and on a weekend. John was prompt and explained basic procedure, nature of observations and considered our impressions, while expressing the inspection objectivity. When we were present during the process, John explained the observations and answered our questions. We received the final report, with an attached shorted summary page. We were very happy with John’s process, prompt, understandable and he communicated well. We would recommend John and Amelia’s Home Inspection, as our needs were thoroughly met.

I had a great experience with Amelia's Home Inspection. They were easy to contact, responsive, and provided a quote right away. The inspection was this morning. They were very prompt, arrived earlier than the scheduled time. John and Onia were very thorough in checking my prospective new home; they provided explanations along the way, which helped me to create a list of actionable items. The inspection report was sent right away; I especially liked that it contained lots of pictures that helped in understanding terminology in the report. The cost of the inspection was reasonable. John and Onia were very pleasant to work with. If I were buying multiple homes, I would use Amelia's Home Inspection for every purchase. In short, thoroughness of inspection, knowledge of all-thing-houses, ease of communication, cost, and pleasant people to work with is why I give this company a 5-star rating. I have used other inspectors now, since using yours, and your quality is much lower than others. Comparing to others, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Interesting how two friends recommended your service. Other companies go more in depth and spent much more time investigating my properties. Now I know. And now I’ll recommend to others.

John’s inspection was very comprehensive. His response time was very quick and I am very happy to know that I have a safe home to live in because of the things he found during the inspection. My daughter used Amelia’s also so she recommended him highly and I was not disappointed. He did a great job.

John is very wise and detail oirented. I have been buying properties for 20 years and have never worked with anyone better. HIs software makes it super easy to use for negotiations post inspection and future maintenance. I will never use anyone else. He won't get references from realtors BECAUSE he is looking out for your interest not like a realtor that hopes you don't know/notice things and costs that prevent the sale. All 5 times his inspection paid for itself many times over.

John and his wife's home inspection report is by far one of the best home inspection reports I have seen. He did an inspection on 2 duplexes I was in escrow for and his report was detailed. He included average prices for repairs as well as diagrams for how something should be properly installed. I highly highly highly recommend Amelia's Home Inspection

EXCELLENT inspection. Very thorough, providing several pictures with explanations. Recommendations, etc. I am extremely impressed with the depth and attention to detail in the home inspection AND the report. I HIGHLY recommend Amelia's home inspections. Ill never use anyone else. I have read all his reviews and the negative ones I DO NOT agree with. John is truthful in his report. No matter which "side" it negatively affects. He was totally professional and I am extremely pleased with his quality of inspection and report.

We just bought a property and needed the inspection and report done right away so I won't miss out the low interest rate lock deadline. John changed his schedule in order to accommodate my timing request. He came on time, checked on everything - appliances, attic, sidings, basement, etc. in details and pointed out things we would have never thought of. He is very professional and explained in easy to understand language. The price is fair. We highly recommend him and his company!

John at Amelia's Home Inspection was amazing. We had him look at a home in Racine we loved, and had an offer accepted, pending a good home inspection. The place seemed too good to be true. John came through and didn't miss a thing. Turns out, the place was too good to be true. Received a very thorough, detailed, yet easy to understand report. Sent it to my realtor who simply responded, "Yeah, let's get out of this one." Won't be closing on a house until John walks through it first, that's for sure.

The whole inspection process was just great from the easy online scheduling and immediate availability to Johns professionalism and patience as we joined him around the home. He was very thorough and willing to answer any questions we came up with on our own. He even made sure to end with a brief tour of where all of the electrical and plumbing details were at. Do not look anywhere else, this guy John is the inspector for your property. He is very personable and knowledgeable about his trade. He listens well and gives you excellent feedback on what you need to know about your property; weather on paper or during a personal conversation with him on the phone, he'll let you know what's going on. This is the only guy I know in the area with a 30 foot latter that truly gets on the roof and takes lots of pictures of everything. You will just love his detail report of the inspection., lots of pictures and explanations. So, stop reading this and start dialing his number, he'll be quick to pick-up too. Tell him I said hi! You won't regret the service.
