I have used this Credit Union as my main financial institution for the last 6 years and have never had a negative experience. The staff have always been super helpful and engaged. I recently had to refinance a loan from a national bank. AAACU did everything in a timely manner to take care of this for me. They also advised me they may be able to beat the interest rate of an auto loan I had. Upon checking, they brought down the interest rate a full percent making my payments more manageable. I now live out of state but because of the online banking features, I continue to have AAACU as my main financial institution, and will continue to do so. They are professional, courteous, and always willing to help their members.

I can't say enough good things about the CU. They go out of their way to help. I have been a member since the beginning (early 1990's?) and the CU has grown so much. Cheryl at the Lincoln branch has gone out if her way to help with so many loans & products for us in the last couple of years. She is the best!! Keep up the great work, AAACU!

I have lived in Alpena all of my life. I have been a member of Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union for the past few years. Their customer service is excellent. I have worked with the credit union with my past career as a Realtor and have always had great experiences both professionally and personally including personal loans and plan to finance my next vehicle with AAACU. Today the most frightening thing happened. I found out that I had fraudulent charges on my debit card. Naturally, I freaked out, called AAACU, and was transferred to card services. Rose was outstanding! Like I said, I was really riled up and she helped me clear things up and ordered a new card for me. She was calm, friendly, patient, understanding and kind. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Rose, you are appreciated!

Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union is truly a family oriented credit union in my eyes. This credit union has taken care of all of our family’s financial needs throughout the last 20+ years. Anything we’ve requested, such as opening up a new account, informing my children at little ages about dollar dog and saving, anything from mortgage, to car loans, to investing, to college loans, you name it. The staff at the Lincoln branch where we’ve done almost all our banking, treats us like family and has never let us down with any services we have needed or inquired about!!

Been a member of AAACU for a decade now and have always been treated with the upmost respect. I truly admire the high level of customer service from branch members and sense of urgency when i needed assistance.
