West and his team did a great job. West responded back on the weekends and evenings to help make sure things went smoothly and that it did. West told me at the beginning that things would be fluid, each round of documents were a revision, but to trust him as it would all come together. Being extremely detailed oriented regarding important documents and finances it was hard for me to not have each round be perfect but it all worked out. Everything was approved, appraisal received, and ready to go almost 3 weeks before closing, which I thought was impressive considering from offer acceptance to close was only about 7 weeks. I shopped around quite a bit and West was competitive on the interest rates and fees. My advice to anyone shopping around for a mortgage is to remember taxes are the same regardless who you go with, settlement fees are determined by the provider you choose, escrow amounts are pretty standard, and everyone is basically using the same short list of home inspectors. I say that because I felt when shopping for a mortgage provider that it really came down to who you think will help educate you throughout the process and be the easiest to work with; assuming competitive interest rates. My initial call with West wasn’t just give me your info and I didn’t feel like I was a bother for asking questions like I felt with other companies. West explained in detail the process and helped educate on call #1. Little did he know how many questions I would have throughout the process. West actually came as recommendation from realtor friends of my realtor , and the seller’s realtor knew West’s quality so when I said I am working with him on a pre approval (different from lender used for offer) it actually bought us time to shop around since everything moved so quickly in the offer stage for us. Also, West has a friend who is a licensed insurance agent that he referred me to where I got great coverage with a reputable insurance company for both my home and auto policy. Overall I’d definitely recommend, and thank you for everything.

We felt at ease and confident knowing that West was handling everything for us and he was always quick to answer any questions we might have. West is as good as it gets when you need a mortgage. I was working with Veteran United on my VA loan and having issues with getting them to count current income because of time on the job and a long employment gap. I was hesitant to give West a chance because Veteran United had been great from the beginning. Once I informed Veteran United that another broker was telling me he could get this loan done if they can’t, the broker I was working with got offended I believe because within 30 mins I had an official denial letter saying they couldn’t move forward with the loan because it was over budget they only approved 350k and the house was 385k. After that I let West take over and it was amazing from start to finish. Very informative, great with response time, and takes your concerns very seriously and will exhaust all options to get you into your dream home. Thank you so much for all your hard work West!
