After seeing such great reviews online about this firm, I thought I would reach out and set up a consultation to see if they would be a good fit for my tax needs. Looking at their website, in multiple places, they advertise a "100% free consultation", as is pretty standard for any CPA/tax firm. When I called to book my "free consultation", they let me know that the consultation was going to be $225. Just on principle alone, I would not trust anyone who does something like that with my money or give them any business.
Hi Winston. We DO INDEED give free consultations for individuals and small business with IRS difficulties. That is clearly listed on our website. However, if someone just needs normal tax advice or tax return preparation we charge a fee for the meeting and then apply that fee to any services that may be required. Its really difficult for a small business like this, whose specialty is IRS resolution, to give free tax preparation advice. If you think about it, it makes sense. Lots of people need tax advice and we could be so busy answering free tax questions we would not have time for our niche, which is fixing tax problems. After we fix a tax problem we do ongoing tax preparation. But if we spent all our time giving free tax advice to the non paying public, we'd have no time at all for our clients. Thanks for your understanding.

In December 2019, I received a letter from the IRS to the tune of 144k. I managed to come across Advanced Tax and scheduled an appointment with Alex P. After the initial consultation I felt pretty decently that the whole thing would be resolved. Alex assured me that they would see it through all the way to the end. June has come and I received a final letter from the IRS indicating $0.00 owed. The money spent was well worth it for a little piece of mind on this matter, and the final outcome. I would highly recommend them again. They now also do my taxes, so I don't have another (H&R block) problem again.

Glenn and John are top notch professionals. I, like many self-employed individuals, got behind a few years while starting my business and then Uncle Sam came calling. They were very transparent up front and held me by the hand through the whole process. It was a long and hard road but I got a very reasonable settlement offer! I now use them yearly as my CPA for tax preparation. Don't try it yourself, the IRS makes it so difficult to navigate-stick with these guys. The odds say the IRS wont settle with you. Maybe I got lucky, but I think it was because of the Advanced Tax Solutions team!

At the beginning of this year I knew I had to catch up on my taxes. I heard a commercial on KBPI about Advanced Tax Solutions and decided to check them out and see if they were able to catch up on taxes from 2011. Advanced Tax Solutions is the ONLY place I will ever trust to do my taxes. They go above and beyond!! Last year they fixed my taxes from 5 previous years of not filing and I was expecting the worst but wound up getting money back and fixed my issues with the IRS! Yes you will be paying slightly more than you would at and HR block but the quality and service provided by Frank, Val and everyone else at Advanced tax solutions is well worth it!!! You will not regret going there, I sure don't! Very professional and helpful.

I was more than 7 years behind in my taxes and it was weighing heavy on me. I met with Glenn and he told me exactly what my options were. With the help of Glenn and Alex, I was able to set up a payment plan with the State and complete an Offer in Compromise with the IRS. Everyone at ATS has been professional and courteous.
