Advanced Disposal (Now WM) - Ft Myers Hauling & Transfer Station Pine Ridge Rd, Fort Myers Beach

The driver for waste management picked up our recycle can and just kept going. He must of known he picked it up and then his brain must have short circuited or he wanted to keep the can and sell it on the black market. Now waste management tells me 7-10 days to bring it back. Do you think this can is heading to Mexico? Should I file a missing can report with law enforcement? I need my can back!!

I have been trying for a month to get my broken garbage can replaced. The weals actually fell off. At least 5 phone calls, 3 of which were being "advanced" to a supervisor. I asked for a supervisor to call me. Crickets. Pay thousands to Lee County, Florida, which likely pays Advanced millions each year. To be continued...

Terrible workers, completely rude and disrespectful. If you approach them with any question or to even offer lifting your OWN GARBAGE CAN since they decided to only do one and knocked down the other leaving debris and garbage thrown around the road the will either ignore you or just smirk at you. We have had issues for years with this company and our garbage pick up but this most recent incident is completely outrageous! How they are still in business with the type of workers they seem to hire is beyond me. No work ethic and no respect for others. I hope another company that is more reputable will take over soon.

I have been trying to get a new trashcan since I moved into my home in July. Called at least 10 times. Also trying to use the website. Absolutely no help at all it’s time for the MSBU of Lea County to get involved and hire a new company. Just look at the other reviews

This is by far, the worst, most unprofessional company I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. They have refused to pick up cardboard recycling in front of my house for FOUR weeks. I have called numerous times, and their unprofessional agents always say they will have a supervisor call me, but no supervisor ever calls. I don’t need to speak with a supervisor. I need them to collect the refuse. That’s their only job. Everyone that works there should hold hands and jump into their nastiest dumpster, and never get out.

This is one of the worst run companies I have ever dealt with. We just moved into a new house in a new community. It has been 60 days and a few of my neighbors have garbage cans, but we still don't. They blame COVID and the inability to get the cans from their supplier, but somehow they randomly find cans for some people. So they tell us to buy our own cans and the company will pick up the garbage. I am so happy our tax dollars go to a garbage company that can't even get step #1 correct.

My mailbox got hit by one of their drivers. I didn't see it happen but saw the mail door hanging down. The next morning I called the office, I did have wait on hold for a minuet or two. The woman that answered was efficient and polite. She transferred my call and the next person said that a supervisor would call. About 20 min. later I got the call and he said he was out front at the Mailbox. He acknowledged that the scraped paint was from an Advance truck. Since I bought the mailbox from Amazon, they keep a record of your past purchases. I printed the purchase and the special numbers that I bought He took them back to his office and said he would call. Later that afternoon he called to say that the Mailbox and special numbers were ordered and will be shipped to my door. Now how can you ask for any better service? The supervisor the mad that the driver did ring the door bell or report at the office.

I completely understand why so many people are giving a one-star rating or less.I am a new resident to the state of Florida. I cleaned out multiple palm trees that had never been taken care of from the previous owner. The palms were bundled and put out by the road. When they stopped they removed half of the pile leaving the other half sitting there. When I called they said the truck was full and would send somebody back out in which never happened. I have now called 5 days and a row and get a different story each time I call. I'm either transferred to supposedly the supervisor which goes right back in queue to get another person to say that they are escalating. I've been told it has been escalated every single day. I have not received a phone call they have not come back out to remove the remaining pile and since then I have received two HOA violations. I have a bad back and I don't know what to do next. If my tax dollars are being spent on this company, what a shame.

Thanks for promising to pick up a hot water tank from my house but never showing up. I let two weeks pass before complaining and when I called in, the lady assured me they would send someone out and she was ready to hang up before even asking for my address. It’s hard to schedule a pick up if you don’t know where it’s located….

Bad.....just bad you should be ashamed...haven't picked up the trash at my business in a week.....several phone calls later and...........shocker no change just 2 heaping stinky dumpsters and 45 bags of restaurant trash lying next to the dumpster. Keep up the good work.

I had a bulk yard waste pick-up scheduled for a month ago, but due to covid and not enough employees it sat and rotted in my front yard. I was cited by county for non-compliance which was not my fault. I called every week to see when they would pick it up. And every week they would say "I dont see you in here but we'll get you on the schedule this week" which never happened. I felt like i was getting no where. Frustrated and not knowing where to turn next, I stepped in front of an advanced disposal truck, made him stop, and pleaded my case. The driver- a wonderful supervisor named Arthur- A Saint, stopped what he was doing, got out, pulled out his phone and made all the connections to get this situation resolved before i got a fine. Moved me to top priority, and became my Hero!!! Turns out he was running an extra route for an employee who was out sick, and still took the time to help me. The world needs more people like Arthur willing to go the extra mile. A million Thanks Arthur!!!

I stood beside my full container. I was literally standing right beside the truck. The driver was collecting a container of my neighbor's across the street. To be clear this was literally 12ft away. He looked right at me and said, "out by 6 man!". He jumped into the truck and sped away down the street. I've never seen such a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Bonita Springs should look at these reviews! Citizens are paying for this.

I work at Taco mix and our trash has been piled up for weeks so I decided to call them and see what the problem was. I was told our service had been cancelled in January for pretty much no reason yet we continued to get billed. We paid $1500 in March for and no one has come to collect our garbage. I called support and was transferred around about 6 or 7 times just for them to say they’ll call us back. It’s been about a week and a half now and still no call.
