When I first heard of this company I was excited to hear of a place that could finance my short term needs and while I still think that the services they offer are awesome this location is not. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and have to travel almost 1.5 hours to this location. Last Friday, I went left a doctor's appointment and travel in a storm to make a payment. They close at 7pm and while I called them several times to let them know I was on the way. I was told that they would lose their job by the manager if they closed the store at couple minutes late. I arrived at the store at 7:04pm You could tell that they locked the doors and cut off the lights simply because I was on the way due to all of the representatives still at the computers and/or desks doing work to close. They simply did not want to service me. While I apologized profusely for making it 4 minutes past the close time they did nothing to try to assist when all I had to do was simply go sign paperwork and make a payment. What's sadder is that I was trying to make payment and not dodge the responsibility. So Advance America while I still think your company offer great services maybe you would like to reconsider the representatives at the Emporia, VA location. Thanks.
