I’ve been banking with AFCU for 20 years. I’ve never had a problem with anything. ATM is on a shared network with other banks so if you just look up which are free you don’t get charged.

I have been with this Bank since I was 8 years old. They are very pleasent and easy to work with. The hours are a little tough, but nothing is ever perfect. They still have the human Element when it comes to working with you . Your not just a bunch of numbers on a page with them

I personally would not bank here, but both of my parents do. If you wish to use a debit card, you are charged a dollar with every transaction. The hours are inconvenient and the people aren't very friendly working there. The only hing keeping this from being a one-star review is that the location is convenient and close to home for me.

One Nice Employee. The hours are extremely inconvenient. they open after people head to work and close before they get out. How is anyone supposed to bank here ? Overall a horrible bank.

Great place to do business with. Personalized friendly service from all staff. It's nice to bank where they know your name and actually care about your banking needs.

Low balance fee? Into the negative? Absolutely absurd. Terrible bank.

Miserable people. When I forgot my ATM card in the machine while rushing home to get my two small children they kindly picked it up off the ground when I called. They then ran it through a shredder because it wasn't their bank's card. I kid you not. Lack empathy and compassion. Stay away if possible.

Banked there for ten years. Strike one debited instead of credited an account for 3k on a wire transfer into my account. Strike two. Double charged me on a gas purchase from the gas station ACROSS THE STREET FROM THEM. Would not help me resolve it. Strike three. Wanted to charge me 10 dollars to replace a lost credit card.(side note:this was the straw. I had never lost a card before. Went to Rockland Trust that day and had card with a chip and my name on it in my hand when I walked out the door.) Strike four. Their website would only display the address of the businesses not the name themselves. Had to Google to find out where charges were coming from. Strike five. There was a 100 discrepancy between a monthly statement that my came to light when applying for a mortgage that I had to go down and get them to sign off on. My mortgage company found the error. Strike six. Close at noon on Wednesdays. Seriously. Strike seven. They actually charge you for using their coin machine. I have no idea why I put up with it for so long. Then when I finally wised up and discovered that there are banks out there that care about your business, I closed the account. Returned some merchandise to a store that had been charged with their card. Store said that they would probably issue a check for me. Noooo. They reopened my account, and then expected me to drive into acushnet between 9 an 4 pm to get my money. I had just bought a house so there were a lot of things going on. I forgot that my r.v. insurance was on autopay and missed switching it over. They charged me an overdraft fee. So now the account that they reopened was now in the negative. Find another bank.

For all of you complaining about the hours... They have had the same hours for years. Let's not forget the drive thru opens at eight thirty... Seven thirty on Friday and Saturday.. I find them very helpful. Not sure why negetive reveiws.

This was once a great Credit Union. I have been with this bank since it opened. Now they are horrible !!!
