I have not had anything but the most courteous attention of anywhere I have banked. This is the only place I have ever been where the door is opened for you, they are very polite and move through the transactions with unsurpassed expediency. The Fruitville Rd. branch exceeds anything I have experienced before.

I want to thank the woman her name is Alma Morris. She helped us refinance our car and spent a lot of time with us, good customer service. She works in Sarasota 5881 Fruitville Road. Thank you very much

Updated. Although policies are not flexible or convenient, if you are careful their accounts will work fine if you need something aside from a major bank.

Achieva is excellent & most people already know why. The benefits of using credit unions in general are widely known, but I was especially impressed with Achieva because opening an account was so quick & easy. I even walked out with my actual bank card (not a temporary one), as well as some checks & whatnot. Logging into the app can be annoying because you encounter 4 screens just to get into your account (the odd & annoying welcome screen, username screen, security question screen & password screen... These need to be consolidated to allow for much quicker login). My only other complaint would be the office itself... While it looks like a very nice & unique layout, it seems very inefficient. There are 3 or 4 independent "stations" spread out in the room, as opposed to the traditional, big, singular counter with several tellers behind it. This creates a pretty big issue with regard to the line of waiting customers. The line ends up being just inside the front door & there's only room for maybe 4 people before the line starts going out the door. The first time I visited (to open a new account), I actually ended up just leaving because the line of customers was overwhelming, there weren't enough tellers to accommodate them, the room was getting crowded & it just felt chaotic. The employees remained very professional (they didn't add to that chaotic vibe), and I'm sure they do the best they can, but the setup - as cool as it might look to some people - is just too inefficient. But the credit union as a whole is EXCELLENT & my overall experience has been as well. I would definitely recommend Achieva to just about anyone, especially if the alternative is any one of the scumbag banks!

What happened to customer service? I have a business account with achieva and I really like there policies. However, the customer service at this location is horrible. I have never been treated as rudely as I was treated at this branch in my life. What makes it worse is its been more than one occasion. Very unprofessional. If my home was not right next to this branch I wouldn't use it.

If you are looking for a bank I would strongly suggest you find a different one. Ever since they switched from Coastal their customer service is horrible and their fees have gone through the roof. Doesn't matter how long you have banked with them, they don't care about your business!
