I had my business banking at Chase bank for a long period of time. Until recently when they screwed me over with my PPP loan. I was recommended by my accountant to go with Access bank. It has been an amazing experience thus far. The banker that I have been dealing with directly is Jack. He has been extremely helpful, professional, and always gets back to me right away. Jack is definitely an asset to that bank and I hope they realize that. He was able to get me the PPP loan that Chase bank wasn’t able to. Definitely had a very positive experience with this bank and would recommend it to anyone. Bank Local!!!

It's ironic that this bank is called Access. I'm always fighting to get my (Access) payroll check deposits in a reasonable amount of time. It's basically a transfer between two accounts within the same bank, I can't imagine it being that difficult. Will be closing this account soon 👎🏻

My experience is with Ted Leveridge during his tenure at Northstar Bank. I borrowed $45,000.00 on a vehicle and collateralized the loan with not only the title to the vehicle, but a CD in the amount of $55,000.00. I also had on deposit over $100,000.00 with Northstar Bank in other accounts. For reasons unclear I was charged with obtaining false credit by the City of Denton Police Department. I did not obtain any credit under false pretenses and ultimately the charges were dismissed and my vehicle was returned after I spent thousands of dollars defending a fully collateralized transaction. Beware of Ted Leveridge and his banking practices.

Almost everytime I go there is NO line out the door. In the past there has been issues with money but if I asked or spoke up it was resolved quick with no problem.

When I first walked into Access Bank I was impressed by the classic look and feel. Warm mahagony wood and an oversized vault greeted me like what you'd expect to see in a classy upscale bank. But what I really liked was how everyone was so nice and friendly and asked me if I needed something to drink. Every person that talked to me asked me if I needed anything and they were so friendly. I'm looking forward to banking with them because I like working with people from the Denton community and keeping things local.

The people are nice, but they close at 4 pm for some reason. And i typically don't get off work until 5. It makes it really hard to do my banking in person. I honestly feel like they should stay open til 5.

When I had to open an account so I could do direct deposit for work I didn't have any minimum deposit requirement to open it up which was nice cuz I literally just started the job

Staff is always friendly. Great customer service! Please give this bank a try
