Becca Gordon at Academy Mortgage was awesome! We originally started with a different Mortgage Advisor and went to Becca for a quote to make sure we weren't getting overcharged. The quote she gave us was very close to our other quote. Turns out Becca was much more responsive to our calls/emails/questions. She was great! I would HIGHLY recommend her!

She was INCREDIBLE to work with- super responsive, an excellent communicator, very very good at breaking down all our options and explaining things to us in a way that made us feel empowered to make decisions. There is a disconnect from them and their servicing department. Try to get tax documents was told to call servicing department on your "mortgage statement" . They didn't even provide that number to call. Got number from statement call that department; connection was very bad can hardly hear the agent. They told us it will take 24-48 hours via email and 10 day via regular mail. Neither document have arrived it have been over one week. Cannot believe it takes 2 days to get email this day and age. Will be changing from them to another company. Do not recommend them.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Katie. She was very informative, friendly -but not like that *fake* friendly (like a Starbucks barista), and she made me feel so comfortable asking questions when I didn’t understand something. She explained tiny details of closing costs to me to make sure I understood and when I stopped her to ask questions, she never made me feel like it was annoying or anything. I get anxiety about that, but never felt that way with her. She is an all around good person and Academy Mortgage was awesome! Along the process of home buying, they have videos for you to understand what you are signing. I respect companies that do this.

Jaime and her team made buying our first home SUPER easy. She was more than willing to work with us to get us something that made sense for our situation. The app made everything incredibly convenient and communication was excellent. She is very knowledgable and was always willing to answer our questions no matter how small. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be using Jaime for future home buying or refinancing.
