Academy Bank N Belt Hwy, St Joseph

Every person at this bank is rude. They have a nasty attitude and act like helping you is very inconvenient. I am really thinking of switching banks.

Every year I have to have bank statements & in the past it was a nightmare trying to get them w the needed information. This year however a wonderful employee helped me with a smile! Even though I had to go back for something she still had a smile & got me exactly what I needed in a timely manner. ( I only wish they had a drive up window)

Great bank, great hours, and great group of people working there. Been banking here for years and always have had good experience.

Wanted to love it, but couldn't. They offer really amazing services, with photo check deposits, ATM check deposits, the academy bank app etc. And they all sound great in theory, but they haven't got them working very well. And the customer service via phone is terrible. Rarely get ahold of an actual person without a ridiculous hold time.. Also, I did the photo check deposit for its convenience, then recieved an email two days after not getting the deposit saying I wasn't gonna receive it for more than a WEEK LATER. I was on vacation to see my family too, so I really needed that money then. And now I've deposited my check through their in store ATM yesterday, and haven't got my deposit in my account and CANNOT get anyone to answer the phones there.... It's so frustrating. I dont have time to always be going there in person to fix or do everything.. Staff is nice, but dang... CONSIDERING CLOSING MY ACCOUNT.

Trashy bank. Went in their to deposit some money and they was alot of people at the atm so I wanted to clerks to take my money while in line I get told by 4 employees at all different times that the atm can do it. I was like nah I'd rather have you guys do it so I know it's done. I get up their and the little girl said she couldn't take my money since it was under 30 bills. I said no your gonna deposit my money, she then proceeded to take 10 mins on purpose

Banking with a family owned bank has been such a pleasure. Aimee Has been so incredible with helping me understand the different products that suit my personal and business needs. Highly recommended.

Lately I have issues with customer service at this location. It seems as though they are steering you to use the ATM but sometimes you need to talk to a representative. They act as if you are interrupting them but most times they are talking with each other or playing on their phones. This is so disappointing that it may cause me to move my funds to another bank. Addendum. I did close my account and found an online bank with great perks and customer service.

Lousy bank. Want to put 5 day holds on any check. If you like to wait , and live in 70s technology this is the bank for you. They do nothing to help you, just charge you for putting your money in their bank. Always new people there, rude. Get smart and go with another bank. I will be closing my 3 accounts Monday.

Awful customer service. Three different stores and managers could not figure out how to enroll me into online banking. Once i finally got enrolled, i found out i had identity theft on my account, when i went to bank they were rude about that and i had never had identity theft before this bank, I would never use this bank again

Great group of girls working there. Always helpful and friendly!
