Academy Bank W Foxwood Dr, Raymore

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. I’ve been banking with academy for 4 years and I have never had an issue. Especially with this location. I always get in and out quickly. I’ve had wonderful customer service. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

The absolute worse banking experience!!!! There were constantly some kind of issue with my account. The lady that opened my account was very nice but I haven't seen her since I opened the account. The man that closed my account was not friendly at all and didn't even apologize for the mess up on my account which was the banks fault. Very poor customer service.

It use to better and better hrs.... sad to see them offering less to costumer , less loan and credit chooses / offers for. If you want just a checking with debit card there ok at best.

The hours are the only thing going for this bank. I opened a savings account with them to test the waters, and over the course of 6 months (The minimum period you must wait to close your account without incurring a fee), I was charged over $100 for using my account. They limit withdrawals, which I never exceeded however they will tack on "service" charges for between $5-6 multiple times a month if you don't meet minimum balance criteria (even for a day), as well as a minimum deposit rate ($95/mo). These fees were never brought up or discussed with me, simply charged to the account. Halfway through my term they also started adding charges for mailing me my statements detailing how I was being robbed ($3/letter). Could not have had a worse experience, wish negative ratings were possible.

I absolutely hate this bank. Every time I go there I’m waiting in line for 15 to 30 minutes. There’s only one employee and the have zero sense of urgency.

I drove an hour because they have on Google maps they are open until 2 and got here and they are closed. This bank is failing

If I could give them 0 stars to begin my review I would give them negative 0. The customer service sucks. The lady with glasses has poor customer service skills and literally is a chatter box, talking to people about personal stuff meanwhile there is a huge line. Seems like multi tasking is difficult for them. Every time I go there is a huge line and they are under staffed. I could go on and on about how horrible this bank is.

Tara Cruz and Angela Williams are the best bankers I have ever had!!! They were willing to help me when they were supper busy with printing some things out for me. They are supper friendly and make you feel like you belong there!!!! Would highly recommend my friends to Tara and Angela over any other bank I have had before!!!!!

Horrible branch. Do not go to this location. Horribly rude. In person they are rude and on the phone they are rude.

I hate this bank customer service is pore they rather hand out candy than take care of the customer. Sad when you walk in two of there clerks standing at front of Walmart and only one teller helping customers and there's 5 ppl waiting in line. I would never recommend this bank to anyone and so glade I closed both my daughters accounts there and only have to go there to cash ex's check. Oh and it should be no stars from me. Should be pop sign
