I've had excellent customer service. Never had any issues of any kind! As for over draft protection in checking just have direct deposit or partial deposit. People are unfairly given AAC a bad ratings on over-draft protect. I say get it together and balance your check book. Remember you should only spend what you make and it's your own responsibility.

I banked with honor credit union prior to banking with them and they were supposed to be no different and they explained how things worked with the overdraft protection and its a joke they are constantly declining my bill payments if they try to come out before my check goes in and basically stealing our money by charging us fees they shouldn't be. They are a very disappointing bank and a joke. I do not recommend anyone to bank with them ever unless u like having ur money stolen from u. If u have the option of honor go with them or find a bank that wont screw u over like they do.

Never receive billing statements, lacking most of the services of the big banks, and the online bill pay is not intuitive at all. The lack of after hours toll free number has the same banking hours as the brick and mortar.

Third time in a row I’ve driven 6 miles to the branch and the ATM is being serviced during business hours and that’ll be the last time I drive to that place. Period

NSF fees are ridiculous they charge for not having enough in the account and bounce it without even paying the bill and atm is always getting maintainable. I have had this account for 6-7 years and am seriously considering closing it.

Worst bank ever. Been with them for five years and offered no over draft protection because I don’t have direct deposit. I end up with usually 300$ in fees every other month. Don’t bank here if your looking for a credit union. The manager in grand haven is very rude when I confronted them about the over draft fees I shouldn’t have been charged at many occasions

10+ years no problems, walk in service is great. always prepared to answer questions or find answers. online services have great tools for sending money to any person you need to. resetting password is as easy as walking in and asking them to reset it.

Terrible place. Terrible people. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
