Best bank in town! Friendly employees, always have a smile on their faces and so helpful. This bank helped me build my credit so I could buy my first home. I highly recommend 1st Security Bank to everyone!

I was appalled at some of the reviews. Are you seriously dissing First Security Bank Port Angeles Wa. Location?!? My family (1950’s) first used First Nat’l Bank , which became BofA, and finally First Security Bank. These professionals with a caring home town spirit keep us a loyal client. I especially have most contact with Elisa Simonson , the bank manager extraordinaire , who always goes above and beyond. Thank you all for your excellence!

1st. Secutity is my bank of choice. They make you feel like family. All the employees at the 8th street branch rock.

I was a fairly happy Bank of A. customer for almost 20 years, i'm also lazy and don't like to have to change banks, but 1st security has driven me to do just that, and here's why: At first it was just their annoying and clunky online banking, then i find out they are charging me for checks for over a year that i never ordered, received, or got my money back for, then the last straw, because of the crappy online banking i payed a bill twice and over drew my account by $100; they acted as if they were a collections agent, they harassed me by phone, mail, and email then froze my debut card after telling me they wouldn't, all because i couldn't get more money in the account in 20 days (i get payed like most people at the beginning of every month). So would i recommend this bank to somebody i liked, hell no!

I'm so happy I moved my business account to this bank. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. Elisa Simonsen is a great personal banker - no question is too small and she is prompt and resourceful.

Ive been useing first security since they were still bank of America. They have always been kind curtious and helpful with anything I needed. I won't use anyone else.

Nice staff, terrible bank policies. Got stuck with 1st security when Bank of America left the peninsula. Giving the benefit of the doubt and sticking around a few years after the switch over, I'm done with 1st security. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Too many fees, no perks, too few locations, wouldn't cash a check I gave my wife with "only her driver's license as ID." Seriously? An enhanced ID is good enough for international border customs but not my wife cashing a $20 check??? I can't call and verify I gave it to her??? Ridiculous. Again, not saying anything about the staff, many of them are the same BoA employees who kept their jobs. That's admirable, I've worked with them for years... But 1st Security, the bank- Two Thumbs DOWN.
