Went in to sell some scrap gold and not only did the white lady that was helping had an attitude, she tried to say that everything I had stuck to a magnet so, I went to another pawn shop who paid what I felt it was worth. If you people don't want to do business just say so instead of lying to your customers cause I know I will never come back ever again and I will tell my family and friends as well as other people here so they know what to expect going in here

Place is run by a huge slob now. He has no clue on what real tools cost..they offer you nothing for items and bang ppl over the head.. I've bought gold there...not fair value. Stay away from this place .
Sorry you feel like that. He's not the manager and is acting under a corporate policy. He's actually very knowledgeable about tools and has been directed to not buy junky tools (no matter the esthetic value the owner has to them) especially when they don't work or are missing pieces. As for the gold, I'd love to see what "value" you are attributing. We compare the commodity value (please PM me if you need a definition of that) and the current retail values when we do our pricing. But not to worry...I've informed the manager of your displeasure and attempt to malign the store for petty reasons. I never bother to write reviews, but I fear someone may be ripped off and maybe I can prevent this. DO NOT try to sell gold here! I would give them slack if their sign didn't advertise "gold pros" and their website guarantees the highest price. I went in yesterday afternoon with a 1oz..999 pure suisse gold bar. Now I understand that there are counterfeits that go around, so I understand they wanted to open the packaging to test before purchasing. I had no problem with this, as I knew it was real. So I asked her before she went ripping open the plastic how much they would offer. She proceeds to act like I'd be getting a great deal and offered me $400! The price of 1 oz pure gold at that time was $1350. I was insulted. Do not bring your gold here. There are jewelers that will give you three times the amount. If they are unable to distinguish a legit piece from a fake with confidence, they shouldn't label themselves as "gold pros". And without that confidence, you'll be getting an offer that reflects their amateur experience dealing with gold.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. However that does not sound at all like our normal practice. We have consistently been secret shopped by organizations such as Fox 8 and have always been found to pay the most for gold and silver. There are a great number of scams going on. I wish that you get spoken with the manager. Some of our employees have dollar amount That they can offer for anything. Specially items that have a higher rate of counterfeit possibility have to go through the manager.

About a year ago I was thinking of getting a computer from them they said I was the one who pawn same computer that I was looking at no I was not manger kept up yelling at me she said I was on tape doing it I told to prove it but she didn’t prove it and she said she would call cops go a head I want u I’m on tape pawning it so I called main never got a never said they were sorry but be ware of high point store
You've got to have the wrong store in mind. We don't have your name in our system at all. And there's no policy against a person buying a computer that they got a loan on with us and lost. And why would you wait a year to bring it up?

i have seen my share of pawn places and these guys have the best looking establishment. i have bought many items for great prices and even sold some items and gotten some fair money. The staff is very knowledgeable and if one does not know or understand they are honest enough to say "let me check with my coworker" to give you the right info.

Who is the owner?......the service I can’t complain very friendly about but what happened with a child with extreme anxiety’s Christmas gift I am not happy with at all EVERYTHING should be checked throughly before selling. The one thing she wanted for yrs she can’t play because it never should have been on floor in first place just super upset over this. This child has had such a hard time over this.⬇️ Response ....put a layaway on a ps4 for Christmas that item should never have been sold he wrote tested on my 1st receipt he never opened that box ever to check it or when I took it off I got it off layaway 1 day before Christmas Eve my dad was in the hospital that sun and died the day after Christmas so I don’t have time to deal with this not working I gave it to her Christmas Eve we got a call that evening at hospital multiple calls in breakdowns cause she couldn’t play til Monday we got calls and texts. Anyone with extreme anxiety knows this is end of their world for them. We took it Monday they are like Mail the card the warranty card it takes 3 days to get replaced I’m sure even longer with mail time for card for one I was never told this or I wouldn’t have purchased on a gift for someone esp a child and I’m still in limbo and this child is still upset I can’t blame her cause everyone else’s stuff was fine but hers. I don’t understand why with Christmas it couldn’t have just been switched very upsetting for everyone

I looked into this and while I apologize for the situation and am sorry about the anxiety situations you face with your child, all of our policies were followed. The warranty program was explained. Unfortunately because we have to subscribe to the constraints of the warranty company we cannot ignore the policies and procedures put forth to us. I'm sure that you have been exposed to similar situations with other companies and activities. I hope that you have since sent in the warranty card and are able to come get a replacement unit. I know this does not solve the problems you had and the exe or anxiety that it caused. Unfortunately there is no way for us to anticipate the specific and individual needs of every customer who might have special needs.

I have been in the store many times, and have had no problem with the stuff that I have bought. The problem is that to many times the employees are standing around talking and not helping the people in the store. I go in to check on tools which are behind the counter, so you need help to look at them.I was in there earlier today and 5 people behind the counter with company shirts on were standing around talking and laughing. Another man and myself were over by tools and no one took time to help either of us. We both ended up leaving after several minutes not being helped.Not much of a rating for customer service!
