Edit: I told him I was going to take down the review but I think this is a better course of action now that I’ve thought about it. Bank owner called me and talked to me about my experiences. Cleared up some problems and inconsistencies. Their policy is to not to do third party checks normally. From what I gather, the fact I haven’t had this problem here or at the bank on Washington road to begin with is because people were allowing it (possibly because it wasn’t a large amount). I’ve had pretty good service beside this occasion… the 9/11 thing threw me for a loop though. I now know more about 9/11 because I really did look that up. Many small businesses were ruined because of information and paperwork lost, loved ones were lost, innocent lives were ruined both here in the US and over seas as a consequence of this horrible period in time…..but there are no actual laws about third party checks as far as I can find.
